The job was professionally done , nothing negative to report.

Although there was a little bit of "phone tag" to schedule the appointment, the tech arrived on time with a courtesy call beforehand. I was not present, but the tech explained everything to my wife and gave her a few pointers on how to get the most from our system. Overall, very professional and we will be having them back to inspect the heating system before the winter.

The agent called to inform that he was on his way and approxiamtely how far away he was (which I appreciated). He was polite and friendly. Asked about the unit, what and if problems I was having; inspected the components and told me what he was about to do. He also advised me of the leak in my unit and how to fix it.

The office called me back promptly after I placed my order online for a deal. They explained that my deal did not include a repair and I understood that. Called in advance as I asked. They told me a specific time and SHOWED UP ON TIME! Promptly determined the issue and resolved it. Had A/C up in an hour. Great job!

They were prompt and did the work well.

First visit was for cleaning and re-charge. The energetic and professional young man won me over. I called for a new unit estimate, and was delighted that the cost of the first service call would apply to the installation. The owner zoomed in on my well-defined needs and bid on the new installation I wanted. Overall the installation visit went very well. Friendly, professional and courteous team. They did so many things well that I wish I didn't have to mention one thing. The new unit orientation appears slightly crooked on the floor. The installer derived the final orientation by establishing the corners to be equidistant from the nearby wall. He didn't know that the tiling sheets on the wall were buckled and crooked. He would have done better aligning the new unit to the patterns on the floor linoleum. If this situation applies to you, make a note of it at installation time. The filter compartment on this new carrier system accepts the huge 4" filters. They get stuck in the chamber. They agreed to come out and fix that condition. IT appears to need aa slight mechanical tweak on the positioning of a flange. This team gave me exactly what I want. Give them a Call!

This is the first time that I have had a problem with them keeping an appointment. I had a 4 hour window scheduled for them to come out. During the last 1/2 hour of that window I called them to ask what the eta was. It was quickly reaching the end of the day. I spoke with the on call tech who advised that they were tied up on another job. I do realize that emergencies happen but it is extremely unprofessional not to call someone who has been waiting for 4 hours. I have used this company several times in the past and they have always been prompt. I had to reschedule an appointment a few days later. I made my appointment for early in the morning so I was the first one for the tech. He was professional and answered all of my questions that I had. It could have been a problem that caused them not to keep the appointment but I have read that same issue on other reviews too. If you are running late you just have to call to let people know instead of keeping them waiting around all day.

He was knowledgable and breaking down the components of the furnace. When everything seemed to go okay when he fired the pilot up it wouldn't come on. Before he came out everything worked. Then he fooledaround with it for about 10 minutes. Putin a new thermo-couple. Still nothing worked. Then he said he thought it was the gas valve and although it cost $200 just pay for the labor. 5 minutes go by he talks to his boss and says his boss won't allow that. I told him before they came the furnace worked perfectly and after you worked on it it doesn't start at all and now you want me to pay you $200 for a new gs valve. A few moments later it worked. I won't be using them anf I feel like it was a scam.

It went well. The man that came was very nice. He answered all the questions that I have. It was a pleasant experience. He informed me on what I needed to do with my AC. He came on time. He called 40 minutes before he came to let me know he was coming. He cleaned the area that he was working. He was kind.

Provider was prompt, friendly and explained exactly what would happen. Provider was thorough and answered the many questions I asked during the service visit. I would highly recommend Chicagoland Heating and Air to anyone regarding HVAC and Furnace inspection and cleaning.

The service apt was made approx. 2-week in advance for a Saturday and I was given a 4-hour window. On the day of my scheduled service, my 4-hour window was quickly reaching its limit and I still had not heard from the company. I started calling all the company phone #'s that were listed in an attempt to get an update. All the phone # directed me to an answering machine. I left several messages and also sent an email in the hopes that someone would contact me. I finally received a call from the technician, after the 4-hour window had expired, telling me that he was running behind schedule and that he would be arriving to my house in about 1 to 1.5 hours late. My entire morning and part of my afternoon was wasted just waiting. Once the technician got to the house, he was great. He explained all the things he was doing and invited me to ask questions.

The actual clean up and A/C Unit went well. However, although I was told the tech would show up between 9-1pm, he finally showed up at around 5pm. I did not receive a call informing me he would be late. In fact, I had to call to find out why he was late and if he was even going to show up. The receptionist said he was running late and that he will indeed show up today. Well I thought, "when were you going to tell me about him/her running late". The tech finally called me around 3pm telling me he was on his way. When he arrived, I asked him why he was late and he told me that he was called over to a larger job that he pretty much decided was more important than mine. Any how, during his visit, the tech made note that my thermostat was not working and should be replaced. I asked him how much it would cost to replace and he said around $200 to $300 depending on the features? I thought he was joking but nope he was serious. As you would imagine I replaced it myself for about $40. I would not hire these guys again as clearly they are expensive and unreasonable with their pricing.

It was a great experience. He looked at the whole HVAC system and offered suggestions for maintenance and upkeep. As a new homeowner I found this invaluable! I will be using them for all future HVAC needs! Thanks again!

They did a fantastic job, and they were great with their services.

First was a service call. On time and recommended new unit, which I purchased. Price for unit was fair. I also paid $750 to have the new unit placed in a new location. This was high, but I'm better off now. Installers were one hour early. Everyone I dealt with was professional and informative. I would definitely use them again.

First off, I want to say that I was very pleased with this company from start to finish. This is how you do business and retain customers. The office was responsive and coordinated the crews. We got a time window and the technician was punctual. I knew what to expect based on mine and my wife's conversations and things happened exactly how I expected it. This is not a given in my experience with companies in general. The technician was thorough in cleaning everything for the a/c. My a/c runs well with no issues. The cleaning method was not state of the art like some companies with their special foamers and such, but everything looks fine and works good. The service took about an hour. The technician cleaned up around the area and was very polite. Overall, I was pleased with the whole experience. My a/c should run well for another season, despite it being 12 years old.

It's is an Air Conditioner from the 1990's and is o. It's last year of life. He cleaned and serviced it beautifully and we will be using Chicagoland to install our next Air conditioner! Did not try to oversell and was honest bout what we needed to get through this year. We now know what to expect. Would highly recommend this Company.

The men, lead by Bill, promptly arrived at 9 am. They were all clean, nice and professional. They got to work immediately and only stopped to take a short lunch. They showed me the ins and outs of the new ac and furnace and trained me on how to change the filter and how to use the new thermostat. They left the house and yard clean. They were fantastic!

Great service and friendly technician!

Shawn arrived on time and was very professional. He went through my system thoroughly and as well as he could. He advised me of some issues of the equipment that prohibited him from going further in the inspection but he explained exactly what I needed to have done to fix the issue. He also called me back a couple days later to make sure everything was okay and that I followed through with the electrical issues.

The job was done professionaly, and left the area very clean. I think they do great work.

The owner Skip Landwehr came out the first day of installation. Salesman Dave follow up with me after installation. The installation was performed by Brandon and Joe. Brandon and Joe were on time every day and answered every single question I had regarding the installation. Awesome experience from start to finish! Carrier should be proud that Chicagoland HVAC is a authorized factory dealer!
