Extremely pleased with cost service and clean up highly recommend

They did not want to work in the neighborhood even though they originally installed the equipment.

I called for service on my existing furnace. In doing the inspection, the technician found failure in the heat exchangers. He advised me that I could continue to run it, but at my own risk. With those failures there was the potential for carbon monoxide leakage. That scared me. He could replace the heat exchangers, but the furnace was 19 years old and a part had to be replaced back in February when we had an extreme cold spell. I opted to see how much a new one would cost. He called his company and arranged for someone to come out the next day and give me and estimate on the cost of a new furnace. As planned, the next day the salesman came and gave me a price on a new furnace. That was 10/24/2019. He also gave me credit on the purchase for what I paid to have the furnace serviced the day before. On 11/2/2019, a Saturday, the my new furnace was installed and warmth in the house once again. (Fortunately, it was only really cold the last couple of days that I was waiting on the install.) The installers, led my Juan, were efficient. They protected my property in taking out the old furnace and putting in the new one. They cleaned up after themselves. Juan explained the workings of the furnace. I was very pleased with the service I received from the technician, to the salesman to the installers.

They were very responsive, specially when the the furnace breaks down, they will keep it running until your ready to buy a new one.

I cannot speak more highly of Chicagoland. Skip, the owner, went above and beyond for us and knew the issues we had the last couple of years with our A/C unit. Skip had a new one within 2 days this past May. The techs he sent to put in our new unit were amazing. It was a pretty big job. and those guys definitely worked for their money. I highly recommend this company for any of your needs heating or air issues.

The job went well. Both the sales rep/estimator and the installation team were a pleasure to deal with. They came when scheduled, and were professional in their installation. They cleaned up the work areas and hauled away all debris. Will likely use them again

Skip provided a competitive quotation for the work and described everything that needed to be done. His crew of Joe, Jesus and Jerry came on the scheduled day and installed everything in one day including revamping the ductwork to make it more efficient. They cleaned up everything when they were done and left our furnace room spotless. We will probably be needing a new ac unit for our main level in a year or two and we will definitely call Chicagoland Htg and AC again.

Great. The quality and price of the what I bought was much better than the other quote I got from Four Seasons. Installation went well. They explained what I need to do to maintain the new system.

They had the best price. During the installation, even though it went very well they had to come back later because they didn't notice that there was a natural gas leak. I don't think they caused it but I would have expected someone with their experience to catch it. They were quick to send someone out when we had a problem. They were always on time.

At first, our salesman Dave wasn't sure that the owner of Chicagoland would negotiate on the original pricing - but after I had two other quotes and a most HORRID time with two other companies I had contacted for quotes, I called Chicagoland back and wanted to speak with the owner. Well, Mr. Robert “Skip” Landwehr, the owner, did one better - he personally okayed the negotiated price and came out to our home to give his stamp of approval. The installers were SUPER professional, on-time and neat. They worked studiously, not wasting time in going out to purchase "needed" equipment. This installation took all of four days! Another company said six to 10 days! WTW?!??! My experience with Chicagoland, from pricing to installation to customer service exceeded my expectations. My husband and I are quite pleased - especially since the day after the weather climbed over 80 giving us a great excuse to turn on our newly installed central AC. Big Kudos to Skip, Dave and the Installation Crew for a job well done. I would totally have them back when/if our old furnace decides to go to furnace heaven! The first guy came to fix the furnace that had stopped. He thought it needed a new pressure switch. it was ordered and when the 2nd guy came to put it in, it didn't fix anything. Apparently, the part did not need to be replaced, but I still had to pay 130$ for it. (plus the service charge for coming out). Then he told us we needed a new furnace (the furnace is only about 7-8 years old.) He said he cleaned out some stuff that was dirty and that was the problem, he did fix it so it was working, but his fix lasted less than 3 weeks. One o f the guys said they weren't as familiar with my brand of furnace (American Standard) as they usually service Carrier furnace systems; however, I didn't hear this until after they were working on it -- no one mentioned it on the phone. The total cost of 233$ would have been reasonable if it actually fixed it, but to have to start all over again now!

It was very informative, he cleaned the A/C unit and checked it that it was working properly. I was very pleased.

Purchased home with defective A/C . Called Chicago Heating & Air, They diagnosed the problem and fixed it.

The provider was fast and efficient and had our heat working again in a timely manner.

Did all the work professionally

Eddie had all the parts on the truck. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. He explained what the problem was, how the problem may have happened and how he would handle it. Eddie was so thorough he even explained that the new relay he installed was no good and replaced it! We could not have been happier with Chicagoland Heating and will use Eddie and the gang again when we replace the furnace and a c unit in the fall!

I quoted with 5 companies and they were the most professional and offered the best value. Buying a furnace and AC can be complicated, and the owner, Skip, was very helpful and knowledgeable. Don't hesitate to call Chicagoland!
