Chicagoland Heating & Air-Conditioning, Inc. was started by Robert C. Landwehr in February, 1961 on 79th Street in Chicago. In 1962 he became a Carrier furnace and air-conditioning stocking dealer, making Chicagoland the second oldest Carrier Dealer in the area. His son, Robert J. “Skip” Landwehr, worked at his father’s side beginning in 1970. The company has grown from a two vehicle fleet in 1961 to the present 14 vehicle fleet. Our company is regarded as one of the best in the area and is also one of the top volume dealers on the Southside. Description of Work: Furnace cleaning - the technician did a great job, showed me what he was doing and gave me good feedback about the age and condition of my furnace. |He was very careful not to track into the house or leave any mess near the furnace.

Description of Work: The blower of the furnace/ac system failed and it was replaced. The tech found that the capacitor on the blower was the wrong size. It was just replaced in March by Integrity Heating and Cooling company. I also paid over $700 for that blower replacement and only got a 30 day warranty on the part. Chicagoland gave me a 1 year warranty on the new part and that's a good thing.

Description of Work: Air went out the first hot day (Sunday) and I called early Monday a.m. They answered phone right away & I asked if they could come out at 3pm. The called at 2;45 to say they were on the way & arrived at 3pm. Tech found 1# leak in system and fixed it ASAP. Cost would have been $150 but there yearly check up package was only $145 and included another visit. They could have just taken the $150 but offered me a better package for less $. Chicagoland installed furnace & AC 16 years ago and this is the first time an issue came up & they were right on it!
