Amin did a good job and was patient on an issue that took about 5 hours to fix. I never could have done it on my own and I am fairly computer literate.

Great. Our problems evolved as the visit went on and Mark had the ideas, equipment, and solutions on hand. I have wasted days of my life on the phone with xfinity and apple. Mark was willing to go the extra mile, take care of our problems, and not make me feel like a lost cause or like I was wasting his time. Thank you!!

We had been struggling with spotty wireless and wired internet access for some time. Mark came on a Sunday and quickly made recommendations. He used most of the equipment I already had and suggested a couple of other things. He was able to work with my internet provider, install the recommendations and get everything humming in no time.

I called Mark during the week before he did work for me. He was busy and suggested he come on the next weekend (I work pretty long hours through the week.) When I asked if he could come THAT weekend, he decided he could. He told me he would call and that the time might be fluid, but it would be somewhere around 2 o'clock. Well, he was prompt, called right on time. I had a wireless network that wasn't working and he pointed out what the problem was right away - it had been set up incorrectly by someone in the Geek Squad. We got the network working and then he started attempting to recover photos from 3 very old computers. All of these computers had stopped working many moons ago. He pulled what he could get off of one hard drive and tried the other two, which could not be read by his process. He took one home to try to work on it in his own environment and where his tools are. While he was not able to recover the hard drive, he did have an option to send one or both of these hard drives to someone else who might be able to help. I could connect with them through his website and get a discount. I will call Mark again, I'm sure. It's really nice to have someone who will talk over computer problems with me and explain what he is doing while he's doing it. I am reasonably comfortable playing around with computers and can usually manage to fix what's broken or know when I'm out of my league. I was really comfortable talking over these issues with Mark. One other thing. Mark had the opportunity to sell me a new router. I would have totally believed it was in my best interest to replace what I had. He told me I didn't actually need it, that my outage was being caused by a connection problem - as in hardware had been connected in ways it shouldn't have. That he didn't sell me something just because he could says a lot.

My hard drive had completely crashed. And the backup to my external drive got screwed up (by me) as well. I originally brought it to a local place near my house. They spent 4 weeks on the machine and ultimately did not fix the problem (although they didn't charge me). Loewy is a little further away from where I live, but I had used him before, and the only reason I opted to try the first repair place was because of location. Which proved to be a mistake. Mark did an excellent job with my computer. He was quick, gave good advice and slightly cheaper than the first quote from the "other" guy. I will not make the same mistake again. Mark is my computer repair guy forever.

Mark responded exactly on the schedule he proposed using remote dial in to my computer. It was interesting to watch since I could see him work right in front of me. Super knowledgeable and incredibly fast. I could not read as fast as he could click.

Mark quickly was able to set up our computer and make it work. He even made suggestions to help the computer operate more efficiently and for extra security. Mark is very professional and I definitely would use his services again.

Mark explained to us all the products and services ( electrician and new internet carrier) and in PLAIN ENGLISH. He made sure to ask about how we used the computers and matched his plan accordingly. He was prompt always and even helped out over the phone by explaining to the electrician just exactly what cable was needed throughout our house.

Mark is knowledgable, efficient, professional and patient. We had him hard wire installation of over 3500 sq ft -3 floors, which took 2 1/2 hours. He explained everything to my wife and me in an understandable, clear and comprehensible manner. I found Mark through Angie's list and contacted him by email. He was very responsive. We set up an initial onsite visit and he was on time. He explained the steps he was doing and made recommendations of equipment that was needed. Once I purchased the recommended devices, he connected remotely to help get everything set up. I have used him on several other occasions where he was able to connect remotely and he talked me through what to do as he was on the phone and watching the screen. He recently came back to our house to help my wife with everything "i" meaning the host of itunes, iphones, itouches etc. My wife's comments were the same as mine. Mark helped me set up a new wireless home network for my Comcast internet service. I had previously set up my own network using equipment purchased from a local Best Buy and found it to be very unreliable with frequent drops in signal and internet connections. I use many devices in my home including desktop computers, laptops, iphones, iPads, printers, and internet TVs. I probably have 10 or 12 different devices that try to connect to the internet over the course of a day. Mark made two visits to my home. The first was to survey my existing equipment and lay out a plan and the second was to install the new equipment. I asked Mark to provide me with new commercial grade equipment that was both fast and secure. He was able to recommend sensible products that were not much more expensive than the garbage they sell at Best Buy. Since the install, I can say that I have had solid and reliable internet connections for all of my devices. I also asked Mark to document everything that he did so I could maintain it later. He prepared a nice Visio drawing of all of my new equipment to show how it was connected throughout the house. This was a very helpful 'extra' that gave me the confidence that I can maintain the basics without always having to call a contractor. I found the price of his services to be very reasonable. While some people may think that paying $500 for a wireless home network is steep, please bear in mind that I purchased about 4 or 5 pieces of top brand equipment within that dollar amount (Cisco commercial-grade access points, gigabit switches, etc.). I have a large home and needed wireless coverage from several access points. A smaller home would not need this level of equipment. He could have easily charged me much more labor as well. I found him to be very generous of his time. I also appreciate the fact that there were several pieces of equipment for which he offered to give me options on the brands and model numbers to let me buy them for myself online. That gave me the comfort that he wasn't trying to charge me outrageous markups or push specific brands of equipment. It led to a high 'trust factor' with him as a consultant. He did a very nice job. I will definitely use him again. My only recommendation would be to go a little slower explaining to the customer what he is thinking. Like many technical people Mark speaks very quickly and out loud which can sometimes be dizzying for the novice who does not understand the language of wireless networking. By the end of our time together, I was able to understand the difference between an IP Address and WP2 security....but it needed to be explained a bit slower at first.

Mark set an appointment that met our schedule and came to our home. He was timely and quickly analyzed the problem. He took the necessary steps to remove several viruses from the computer and did what was necessary so that we were re-connected to the wireless service. He was very friendly and took the time to show use how to take action ourselves if wer had future viruses. Overall, his service was very good and his charge was reasonable and fair. We would not hesitate to call him again if we have other problems.

Great! Before he came out, I was really nervous that my problem wouldn't get fixed, or I'd get gouged for it. Neither happened. Mark was on time, professional, fixed my problem, and charged me exactly what he told me on the phone (other than $10 in parts, which I expected to be charged more for).

service was great. Mark came out on a Friday night and helped us get our Comcast service working very well. Comcast had been to our house multiple times and we had nothing but issues. Mark ID'd the problem, fixed it, and helped us with a few issues I was not aware of. I would hire him again.
