We had a great experience each time. The work was very high quality and the design well thought out. Once the crew came in they were working at our site almost everyday - so even though sometime we started later then anticipated the amount of time my front/backyard was not usable was minimized - I really appreciated that actually. Several years down the line everything still looks great and we get constant compliments. Recently some of my driveway pavers started shifting a little bit, they promptly came out to fix free of charge.

Dan is the best...He has pavered our driveway, redone our patio and maintaining our pavers. His timeliness and crews that work the jobs are great. Highly recommend !!

I would highly recommend Joe and Tony Landscaping. I dealt directly with Dan who was responsive from the time I made my initial call until after the jobs were complete. I have used them twice. The initial job was to design an area in the front of our house to replace a large evergreen and then update the rest. This area's design included plants, trees and natural stone. It changed how the front of the house looks! Beautiful work. The bigger piece of this initial job was designing an area in the back of the yard. He also recommended adding some plants on one side of the yard. I had not thought about doing this but the update completely changed how are back yard looks. The communication was always excellent, included professional colored designs, workers were prompt and very hard working. The pricing was good for the amount of work that was done. I used them again after the first job to update another area in the yard. I would not hesitate to use them again and have already referred them to friends.

This experience was a breath of fresh air. Dan is creative, no-nonsense and was always prompt to reply. Our aging landing and walkway was desperately in need of some repair and also some curb appeal. Dan and his team went above and beyond to replace the landing, and reused as much of our existing blue stone as possible. They also laid a gorgeous new paver walkway, where there had previously been aged concrete. The crew was talented and courteous and any issues were promptly addressed along the way. We love our new walkway. We would definitely work with Joe & Tony Landscaping again!

It went great. Job performance was excellent. Quality of work above and beyond. Quote given same day as requested, work began within ten days of signing agreement. Finished within time frame given. I would recommend Joe and Tony Landscaping to everyone.

Poor grades for Dan, personally, who was consistently cold or rude to us, both on the phone and in writing. He seemed to be mad at the customer when his own team made errors. He certainly didn't want to be held accountable for his own work. He literally texted "stop texting me" when we brought issues to his attention and when called by phone he answered by saying "why are you calling me?" Very unprofessional. He will not be getting our business again. The work done was overall pretty good, despite a few problems, and the men who worked on site were courteous and hard-working. Below are the details. Initial work was done in a very timely manner and we appreciated that Joe & Tony did the work on an accelerated time line to accommodate our family schedule. We later noticed problems with the stones' finish and we had to ask multiple times for someone to come out, assess what was wrong, try to clean, try to power wash, etc. It was finally determined that the stone used was of poor quality (had been discontinued by the manufacturer) and so the entire patio needed to be replaced. Joe & Tony did replace the entire patio at their expense (since they had sold us substandard materials) but Dan was rude through the entire process and was difficult about scheduling. Also, there were problems later with stains on the stone from something splashed and footprint stains. They tried power washing, which didn't work, but didn't want to continue helping to solve the problem even though they had created the problem.

They come every week and they bill monthly. I've been with them since I think maybe '95 or something. They come out on Fridays. They're fine. You get to the point where they're part of the landscape. Just give them all A's.

When I called to tell them that I was ready for them to start removing old plants they were there the next day to do the work. I had a delay for some concrete work to be done but when I called again they came out for the final decision on what to plant and then it was done in a very timely manner.

Great! They leveled off the area and put on top soil in one day. The next day, the perfectly placed new sod. It has been one month since the work was done and the sod (new grass) still looks beautiful.

Wonderful experience! Dan (the owner) sent out 3 different crews based on project phase, and each of the crew leads and their crews were great! Efrain, Gerard, and Antonio (the leads) are also masterful at their craft, and were open and responsive to questions I had along the way. Dan was also quite accessible and checked in frequently on projects. This landscaping company did not cut corners to save a few bucks here or there. In fact, they made several enhancements, which required more time, but did not have us pay more for those, including sub-grading 2 downspouts to the main water pit. As one project ended, we signed up for another, and another! In fact, we are now looking at landscape enhancements as well. We are so glad we found and went with Joe & Tony Landscaping!

We live in a "new house"! Their work is beautiful, Dan replies to all my questions within seconds, and his patience is worth the money. His skill and knowledge is above and beyond what I would expect.

Great! Dan M assessed the yard space and designed a software program to show us options for all plantings and design of patio and walkways in front and back yard. When we agreed on the project he met me at Lurveys to look at all stone and brick options and assisted me in my selection. I was impressed with his knowledge of all trees and plantings. Lighting was installed as well. Our project was large at $40,000 and the patio is stunning. Several trees were planted and 1 was removed. Our parking pad / basketball pad is perfect and all drainage for the yard was taken into consideration. I have had the crew back repeatedly the last 5 years for all spring and fal cleanups and addrl needs. The guys are polite clean and do great quality work - Not to mention friendly! Very confident in work all the way around! BTW Dan recommended both a fencing company and True Green which have both worked out well. He is a quick text or phone call away!

Fantastic! Dan came out promptly to see what we were concerned about and gave us great recommendations as to how to fix it and update it. We decided he was the right man for the job and was not unhappy with anything! His workers were polite and cleaned up completely when they were done. We will definitely use them again!

From the design stage to the completion of the project we had a wonderful experience with Dan and the team from Joe and Tony Landscaping. Dan worked with us to create a simple yet beautiful design for our front garden. His crew were excellent and we are thrilled with the results. Dan and his crew were available and obliging throughout the project. They hardscaped and landscaped our back garden last year, we wouldn't use anyone else.

They've installed a couple of patios and several landscape improvement projects for me and always delivered what they promised then strod behind their work. There may be cheaper guys out there but they won't deliver the same level of service or quality of materials and workmanship with no hassles.

Working with Dan was, and always is, a great experience. He gave us more than what we had asked for. Our new yard looks beautiful and is great for entertaining and for us to enjoy every day. Dan's ideas and suggestions were made the entire process just so easy for us. He even met us one day at one of his suppliers to help select the materials, as well as explain the pros and cons to the materials. His crew was professional, showed up every day, worked really hard, and were nice as could be. We couldn't be happier and would recommend Dan and Joe and Tony to anyone.

Luigi, the "sales rep," is slimy to deal with--always making excuses and telling you things that don't turn out to be true. In the end, he was sending 3 men to spend 15 minutes maintaining a 1/2 acre property (and he bragged about how little time his men spent at each home), and our landscaping became more and more neglected. Needless to say, I was frantic, but instead of discussing the situation, he just stopped showing up. Very unprofessional.

We needed a complete backyard makeover after a year of construction and a mud pit for our backyard. We couldn’t be happier with Dan and the whole crew at Joe and Tony’s Landscaping. The work and transformation that they performed was impressive. They gave great suggestions and thought through all aspects of the landscape design. We had both the hardscaping and landscaping done by the company. The workers were very capable of completing the job well. It was our pleasure doing business with them and pricing was very reasonable.

I'm changing my original review from an A to a D. I was bribed to provided the original "A" review with a discount on the agreed upon price. Since then, I have been VERY unhappy with Dan Marchiafava (owner) and this company. I had the work done going on 2 years ago and several of the plantings have never thrived or survived to come back in Spring...yes, he replaced them twice, but they still didn't come back and he's refusing to do anything more about it and was quite rude and unprofessional! Blamed me for not taking care of my yard--first of all, I asked for low maintenance, AND went with all his recommendations, how was I supposed to make sure they came back in the Spring?? I watered, weeded, etc. I feel he didn't fulfill his contractual obligations since I spent almost $7,000 on this project and $9,500 on another with them and STILL dont' have an established, landscaped yard at this point either because of them giving me the wrong plants for my location, soil, or other conditions, or poor quality plants/bushes. Now, I have to pay someone else to do it right??!? And get a nasty attitude from Dan? He said "it doesn't seem that we're going to be able to satisfy you apparently anything we would do to try to do it please you..." Yes, I guess expecting bushes that I've paid almost $7,000 to live and come back each year, is me just being difficult and hard to please.

The project went smoothly overall. Adjustments had to be made during install of both the front walkway and back patio (at our request). Dan, and his crew, were very attentive and understanding and worked hard to accommodate our requests. My husband and I decided to wait to complete the front decorative landscaping until spring, but we went ahead and purchased several privacy trees/shrubs from Dan. His crew also helped translate existing boxwoods and ground cover that were salvaged. We are very pleased with the finished product thus far. Dan is a stand-up guy that does what he says and puts the customer first. That is a lost art in todays world.
