The work was performed perfectly. The estimator came out & provided a cost breakdown. He was very professional & punctual. We did have to wait 3 weeks for them to come out, however, they did warn us on this fact ahead of time. The worker, who performed the work, did it with accuracy & precision. We were very happy with the workmanship. I have since recommended them to several of my neighbors.

It took a while, almost a month for the material to arrive, despite a down payment of 690 USD. Then I had to schedule the day for replacement after the material arrived. On the work day, the workmen needed to connect a concrete drill, they did not have a power source and insisted on connecting it to my source. I felt I did not have to pay for their electricity, figured that was part of the bill. Above all, the men trampled on a bunch of plants in my garden.

They installed a very big fence around our property, last summer. They were really responsive and want to sell you the product that you really need. The guys that came and did the work were absolutely professional, they knew what they were doing and the product looks great and they cleaned up really well after themselves.

I didn't like that they have they subcontractors contacted me to set up dates and times and maybe not the most professional. The people that came out did the job fine.

went well , they did break our cable even though it was marked but tried to fix it. we eventually needed it done again professionally but the guys were friendly and efficient and the fence looks great 9 double sided dog earred

They were friendly and focused. They brought all the equipment and there was no need to return or have any other additional services.

Went very well. However, they promised!! that the heavy coming snow (in 1 day) would NOT effect the durability and stability of the fence posts placed in cement. "Guaranteed" they said. So i trusted them. This late Spring and Summer 2014 we will know if what they said is true!. Otherwise all was great!!

They put in a very nice 5 foot high wooden fence. The quality of the work was wonderful but dealing with this one worker was difficult. They had one worker who was a jerk; he was belligerent and out of line. Once the Production Manager stepped in they did a great job. The fence looks great and overall they did well. There is currently a settling issue with the gate that they are coming out to repair at no charge; this is a common issue and had nothing to do with the quality of the work.

They have always been excellent and the quality of the work is great.

The quality of the fence itself was good. However, our overall experience of the company was very negative. They were the highest price of three bids, but we chose them because they offered copper azole treatment for the fence posts, and we wanted the fence to last as long as possible, in order to reduce the longer-term environmental impact. The price would have been significantly higher than the other bids even without the post treatments. The fence itself was high quality, though I am not sure it was such high quality that it merited the price premium. The workers were courteous and worked hard. After we sent in our deposit, we were told that our fence would be put up in 3-4 weeks. Actually, they showed up a week and a half later with no notice at all, which was very inconvenient. We would have appreciated a phone call ahead of time, particularly given the big difference between estimated time and actual time of installation. Our old fence was right next to, and the same style as, our neighbor's fence; they seem to have been installed at the same time years ago. When we spoke to our neighbor about the new installation he expressed concern that our project not impact his fence, and so I brought that up with Jerry Levy, the sales person, before contracting with Fenceworks. Jerry assured me that the neighbor's fence would not be impacted in any way. After the fence was installed, my neighbor noted that his two fence gates had in fact been impacted. One gate would no longer open all the way. Another gate was impacted because our new gate was posted in a slightly different place and they reattached it in a sloppy way with a 2x4. In short: our new fence did in fact impact our neighbor's fence, and he asked us to contact the company and ask them to fix it. I did so; Jerry Levy came back, and my neighbor and I met with him to show the impacts to the gates. What ensued was extremely unpleasant, as Jerry loudly argued with and insulted my neighbor for an extended period outside by the fence. He told him his fence was a piece of crap (it is in fact old, but that was not the point; he promised not to impact the fence), and engaged in a long diatribe. I do not even remember all of the rude things he said, but I do remember that he asked my neighbor, "Are you a lawyer?" (my neighbor is not a lawyer), and then told a lawyer joke: "If a fat lawyer and a skinny lawyer jump off a bridge, who hits the ground first?" Answer: "Who cares?" That was the general tone of the whole encounter. Jerry finally promised to send workers out to fix both gates. Fenceworks later sent a form for my neighbor and I to sign authorizing the work. We did so; my neighbor decided he did not want one of the fences fixed because their proposed fix would not work, he thought; but he wanted the other one fixed. He specified the permission and I faxed it back. That was in September 2013. There was no response; I followed up, and still no response. It is now February 2014 and I have not heard a thing from Fenceworks, and my neighbor's fence was never fixed.

Fencework's representative was on time, knowledgeable and polite but their estimate was higher than other estimates so we used Rustic Fence on Niles.

The job was estimated approximately 4 weeks before it was done. The estimator made some good suggestions about what would look best. The delay provided the company time to order the materials and some materials take longer to arrive than others. A 30% down payment was required when the contract was accepted. The two person crew arrived at about 8 am on a Saturday. They completed the entire job of installing 1 gate and 40 feet of fencing plus removing the old gate in about 7 hours. The crew took the old fencing away when they left. The final payment was due on completion of the work. The fence looks great, the job was done professionally and I would hire this company again.

Fenceworks did a great job, finished the job in less than a day and from quotes from three different agencies was the best combination of price and attention to detail. I would use them again.

I was hopeful when I contacted FenceWorks because I've seen a lot of their fences around town and think they do a nice job. They gave me an appointment to come out for an estimate that worked with the confusing schedule I provided, arrived on time, and sent me an estimate. I called to tell them I needed the estimate re-worked because we needed to change the layout of the fence. The gentleman I spoke with politely told me he'd call me back and that he'd make sure they get me taken care of since they knew I had other estimates and they'd like to have my business. That was in June. It's now December. I'm still waiting for the call.

They were great, very knowledgeable and prompt. They came out and checked first to make sure they could change the hoop. I have no complaints. We had no problems.

very good Angel was the person installing the fence he worked very hard and worked all day till it was finished from the Co. side it would have been nice if they had a 2nd person working with him as the job itself would have gone quicker especially since it was so hot outside. But, he did it all very well. There was a little piece of metal on front gate that was sticking out but they came back within a few days after I called them and fixed it right away. Overall...I got 6 estimates they came in right in the middle . I was on a very tight budget. I was able to negotiate a bit with them to bring price down and also they were creative in helping me save money on the fence by tightening my neighbors fence up they were able to enclose our new fence around his fence. Also we have 2 dogs so it was important there were no gaps and the Sales person helped with finding a less expensive way to close the gap on the side bottom of the fence of my neighbors fence. So, we were very pleased definitely would recommend Fence Works

Very busy company. We had to wait to meet with someone to consider replacing our large backyard fence. We received an estimate but had many questions. Unfortunately, we could not get timely answers and decided to go elsewhere.

installation was timely and professional. Fence looked to be of solid quality.

They have been around a long time and we had six different estimates. We were on a tight budget and two of the sides of the fence were already partially up. This company came in with the best price, which surprised me, because they are usually extremely high in cost. They also put in wooden playgrounds.

Everything went smoothly and as contracted, the crew even was able to finish in one day when it was thought it could take two. Cleanup was thorough.

We did not have any negative experience with them. They were timely, thorough and tidy. They did a great job in a quick amount of time. They were easy to get in touch with and not difficult to work with at all.

Met with Fence works and told him what I wanted. The salesman offered some suggestions and we agreed to a few of them. Added 6 foot fence along the alley way. Provide one lockable door plus double wide door for car parking.

They are good. They are very professional. They did everything on time. They finished the job on time and there were no issues. They are just pretty straight up, I just found that to be really nice. I don't think they're the cheapest but they were very good.

I would definitely hire fenceworks again and have already recommended them. No complaints here. Good price, quality materials and great workmen.
