Sandy Diamond (son of the owner) met with us initially and was very personable and really took the time to ask (and answer) questions to understand the style of fence we'd like. He gave us two addresses to look at before making our decision and they were beautiful. We had the work done in May of 2021 during their annual sale and we received a quote that was either better or very competitive with two other companies we received quotes from. Sandy was very responsive through the whole process and even showed up the first day of install as well as the 2nd (last) day to see how the finished product came out. The crew who did the work were very polite and efficient. We had a small issue with the front gate fitting too tightly about a week after install. I spoke with Sandy and he had the crew back out within a couple weeks (I told them it was not an urgent issue) and it was fixed within an hour. The fence is beautiful and has made out backyard a haven this summer.

Other vendors would not consider the short length of 20 feet. Although it took some time, Dean from Fenceworks came out to look at the damage and recommend repair or replacement. The fence is old but in reasonable condition, provides privacy that both I & my neighbors like. Because of zoning changes, a maximum of 6 foot heights are permitted for new fences. A major supporting post was severely damaged; he recommended replacing that and strengthening its connections to retain the fence height. The two workers arrived punctually, and did a very careful professional job. The price was high for a small job, but far less than replacing the whole fence.

Never showed up for the scheduled estimate. Dean was supposed to show up at 9:45 am on May 29. Never showed or called.

He was great, listened to what I wanted and provided the plan as part of the bid. He provided this to me within 24 hours.

Sandy came out to look at our fence and provide a quote for replacing the fence. After walking the perimeter with me, Sandy told me that our fence was in great shape and did not need to be replaced. He recommended we hire a painter to power wash and re-stain the fence. I really appreciated his honesty and would certainly call him again when in need of a new fence.

Fenceworks did an excellent job. They replaced old fencing and installed new upgraded fencing, including two new gates. The crew came right on time, worked hard and finished in one day, staying later than the office was open. Their work was meticulous, all level, even though the ground they were working with was uneven everywhere. They actually build the fence on-site to ensure their measurements are perfect - no prefab panels! The result is much better looking than the fencing they replaced, and certainly several times better in quality. Their clean up was equally comprehensive - not a speck of dust left anywhere. Definitely a great experience, and on top of everything their estimate was the lowest of the three we interviewed.

The Fenceworks team was amazing. Rob came to our house to discuss what we wanted done and provided us with a firm price quote before he left. The guys who came to install the fence were very professional and super hard workers. Within about 7 hours, they ripped out the old fence, installed the new one and hauled the old one away. They left the yard in great shape with no damage to the lawn or plants and all debris was cleared away. The entire process was easy, quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend Fenceworks.

It took a long time to get the job done but once they arrived it was quickly accomplished. A few days later I noticed there were some protruding screws due to a poor choice in mounting the door hardware. I called and sent photos, and someone came out and fixed it immediately. Excellent response

We hired Fenceworks to replace a fence that we have on one side of our back lot. The fence is approximately 76 feet long. The estimator was prompt and professional, and wrote up a detailed estimate. The workers came to do the job within three weeks of receiving our downpayment. They did a good job, and even worked well with the landscapers who happened to arrive that same morning that they started the fence job. The fence still looks great after a year, and we anticipate getting many years out of it.

The quality of the work was excellent and exceeded my expectations. We had a tricky situation involving a many trees. Nothing was damaged and it came out exactly as promised.

Overpriced and when called to question, woman was rude. $800 for a teeny tiny fence! Save your money and go elsewhere!

Initial experience was very positive. Fence works was helpful through both email and phone conversations in slecting a product. It was the installation and follow up where they stumbled. The installer put the hoop in slightly crooked. It's not off by much, but it's not totally perpendicular to the driveway. Granted, it's a third party doing the install but it was their contractor, not someone I found. And amazingly nobody from Fenceworks contacted me after install to see how it went. You would think after a major purchase they would follow up to see if it went smoothly. But I didn't receive a call, email of letter. Very disappointing. Would be hesitant to use again.

This project went well from start to finish. The person who came to assess and provide an estimate for the job arrived on time and gave an estimate right away. The crew who did the installation worked hard and worked with care. We could not have asked for better service. We are pleased with the workmanship.

The first install was not to my liking (the fence used was an adjustable and I did not like the look of it, especially on a non-graded surface). After some back and forth, Fenceworks did the right thing, and replaced the original installation. Because of this, I called on them again to complete the second install. They are through, show up when they say they will, and provide honest and fair pricing. I would recommend them to anyone.

It was very easy to get a quote and I would say it was competitive. The fence looks nice although one gate was installed backwards. Unfortunately the company used the old post holes instead of ensuring holes were within our property line and as a result our south fence is just over the property line. I wasn't aware of this until that house went up for sale. Thankfully there have been no issues but I would ensure they are doing the work correctly and leveraging the provided land survey if you choose to use them.

Overall very well. Initial lock set would not work but rescheduled and installed a week later.

The quote was done quickly and the price was exactly what was quoted. The quality of the fence and workmanship was outstanding. There were very few, small pieces of material that were left for me to clean up so I dropped them down to a B on professionalism, but I would definitely use them again.

I had a 30-year old wooden cedar fence that needed replacing on one side of my large property. After reviewing other companies and costs, I chose Fenceworks and am so happy I did. They were comparable in price with other places, but I felt more comfortable with them. The owner, Sandy Diamond, is very knowledgeable and offered good ideas. The installers were outstanding. I've dealt with a lot of workers, but have never seen such efficiency, and they were pleasant and polite, too! I was concerned that my garden would be destroyed in the process, but my fears were in vain. They were so careful, nothing was touched. Actually, you'd never know they were here. With all this said, I would definitely refer Fenceworks to anyone and would use them again.

Our neighbors and I decided to replace our backyard fences at the same time. We shopped around and elected to go with Fenceworks to install a 6' traditional style red cedar fence. Our salesman at Fenceworks was Jerry. We've been pleased with the fence overall. The clapboards have have shrunk, so now you don't have complete privacy, something I wish that had been communicated to us at the time of sale. We were told that installation would take place within two to three weeks of contract signing and permitting. We were never notified of a specific date when the fence would be installed, so it was a bit surprising the morning they showed up to install the fence. We communicated with the crew that there was a stump that was scheduled to be removed the following day, and that we would appreciate it if they could return to install that section of the fence at a later date. Instead a second afternoon crew, un-uniformed, unlike the morning crew (I assume sub-contractors), proceeded to install the fence over the stump. They continued to install the fence beyond the hours permitted by our city. When the second crew finished their work, a man repeatedly knocked on the backdoor and demanded payment from a family member. I feel our experience would've been better with a firm that maintained an onsite English-speaking contractor, provided better communication with customers, didn't use subcontractors, and didn't violate city ordinance. Our landscapers broke one of the gate posts inadvertently in the Autumn of 2014. I called the office and Jerry more than a half dozen times trying to schedule an estimate for the repair. I never did receive that estimate. Instead, I did receive a visit where Jerry came demanding payment on behalf of a sub-contractor, that I never interacted with. I consulted another local fencing contractor who provided me an estimate for repair and replaced the gate post the following week. They also used screws on the fence instead of nails for durability. Fenceworks is so unprofessional, disorganized, and all around difficult, I can't understand how they are able to remain in business.

Completely smooth sailing with fence works. I would completely recommend them to anyone. They were courteous. Efficient. And kind.
