After doing thorough investigation and checking every last detail, the company figured out it was my wireless aftermarket thermostat that wasn't working properly with the unit. They worked until it was done right. The phone staff, and scheduling guru Marsha, were all helpful and punctual. Rob Frechette, who called me personally, made sure that the work was done properly and to my satisfaction. Not only will I use them again, I'll only use them from now on.

Very well. Rather than push for a new furnace, they suggested trying a repair. It’s been over a year and the system is operating perfectly. Very satisfied. We use them every winter and again in summer for routine maintenance.

The response was prompt and professional. The repair was performed in one of the coldest days in 2017 so I had little time for a choice of companies. The repair was completed when promised. I was quoted an “installed” price which I’m okay with. However, when I had time to do some research on the parts pricing and the complexity of the repair, I was disappointed. I understand that companies must make a profit and usually the more difficult the job, the greater the expense. However, after finding the exact same replacement parts used for my repair, I chose to calculate the price I could have purchased the valves by double. Which now I would be able to calculate the tech’s labor price for which it took him 1.5 hours to repair. So, I figured that I would “double” his time for experience sake. It turned out that I was billed at a minimum of 247.00 per labor hour or at worst $494.00 per labor hour. In my opinion this pricing was extreme to put it nicely. Taking advantage of my unfortunate situation is more of my perception.

They have serviced our HVAC for almost 10 years. The same technician has been servicing the units as well. They are always on time, very professional, and provide a detailed review of any work to be performed before it is done. They review the bill (if there is a charge) to ensure you are comfortable.

Surprisingly I called 3 other heating companies, and they did not answer their phone calls or messages even when we tried 7 times in desperation. I remembered Angies List and found American Weathermakers. The lady who answered the phone was marvelous, kind, and politely assured me someone would come out promptly and that they definately would help me. Frank came out quickly and repaired the furnace, special ordered another part, but got the furnace working so that there was heat. I have used American Weathermakers several times after that and have found the same outstanding service from the company and from Frank. Frank was most knowledgeable, very efficient, concerned about your furnace as thought it was his own, and Frank treats the customers as though they are family. I couldnt have asked for a better heating person. All the staff who answer the phone at American Weathermakers are very professional, understanding, really care about you as an individual, and I would like to congratulate them all on outstanding customer service. From my experience I would highly recommend this company and give them A+++++.

I have a service contract with them, so it didn't cost me anything. I like them. They are a good company. I will continue to use them. I like them because they have a service plan that you can sign up for. It is automatic. You know they will come when they are suppose to come. We are seniors, so I like the fact that they keep an eye on things for me. They call me when it's time to get my air conditioner and furnace cleaned and checked. My first impression of them was excellent. They keep everything maintained and will continue to maintain my heating and air conditioning.
