Description of Work: Replaced furnace; great!

Description of Work: furnace tuneup. I have used them for years and am generally satisfied. I used them for duct-cleaning, however, and found this service was not great.

Description of Work: They tested the hot-water heating system and found the switching relay for the first floor wasn't making a connection at times. They ordered a TACO relay replacement and returned on 1-12-15 to put it in but found it did not fit. They needed to order G.E. transformer relay for the system and installed it on 1-13-15. The pump now turns on when it is supposed to. They then tested the boiler again and all the zones in the house to ensure the entire system was working properly. And, it is! For years we have always used Boslough Heating & Cooling for their expertise and excellent service. When American Weathermakers took over we were pleased to discover that excellent service and knowledgeable service techs has continued.

Description of Work: Our furnace had stopped working. They came out and fixed it. As always, it's a pleasure dealing with them. They are responsive, punctual, and always explain what they've done and what might need to be done in future. I never feel like they talk down to me and always feel that I've been treated respectfully. They are a wonderful group of people.

Description of Work: They did the semi-annual maintenance on the heating, air condition, water heater, and humidifier that we purchased from them July 13, 2012. We are members of their "Comfort Club".

Description of Work: Replaced sump pump. Called at 7:45PM; service technician was there in an hour and quickly replaced the pump. Excellent service.

Description of Work: We have been part of their Comfort plan formany years - heating checkups and maintenance in the fall, and a/c checkups and maintenance in the spring. Have always been pleased with their service; will continue to use them.

Description of Work: My 30 year old furnace wasn't working. They could have sold me a new furnace ($3,000+), and I wouldn't have been any the wiser. Instead, they sent their best guy (they called him the 'furnace whisperer') who said, |"You need a new thermostat". Total cost, $350.

Description of Work: Our electronic air cleaner was "clicking". The service person found the reason,after I had tried many things. I wish there was someone to help you on the phone with a problem and I would have been able to find this very minor slightly bent metal fin and straighten it myself. But I am happy it was found out after only a few minutes.

Description of Work: Very thorough and professional. We needed extra work, like zoning. The repair man called right away to get someone out to look at our home and suggest a plan. Very knowledgeable. A little pricey (they do have a comfort club, ask about it) but it's good to know an expert is working on our HVAC.

They were very professional and clean. This past summer they performed maintenance on the air conditioning. They replaced a capacitor that was not up to spec. The new capacitor failed within a couple days. I called them and they showed up within an hour and replaced it and all is good. | |
