They tried to scam us
Description of Work: They sent out a tech to clean and service my 2 units. He told me that both my unpost would have to be replaced because there are cracks in them and by law he had to shut them down and put stickers on them. But for $8,0000.00 they could promptly replace them. I got a second opinion and there was nothing wrong with them , just needed to be cleaned. What a scam! Beware....

This is an open invitation to have your furnaces re-inspected by American Weathermakers for free due to safety. It is my belief that the company you used following our inspection missed something. I can appreciate, due to conflicting inspection reports, going with the more positive of the two is easier, but if they're wrong, I worry about the safe operation of the furnaces. Description of Work: heat pump/air conditioner installed. However, due to weather conditions they and issue with metal shroud job not complete as well as an electical conduit needed to be larger. They brought out the shroud after a week and wrong size was measured. Fixed electrical cord to main breaker and sold me a filtration system. Said they would come back in a few days and ended up being over a week. I'm not upset with the job, but why can't they make their own metal shroud. Discount was given for filtration system but not for angies coupon since i didn't realize that it was available in the beginning.
