The service was fine. I am fully satisfied with them. The price was not unreasonable. I would use them again in the future.

They were professional and I was satisfied with the cost.

My gas furnace would run for about 2-3 minutes and then the flames would shut off. Jeff C quickly identified the issue, which was a faulty high temp limit switch. He checked a few other issues that I mentioned to him as well. I signed up for for a maintenance plan for my two furnaces, along with my radiant heating system, which also supplies my hot water. I was very glad to hear Jeff C has experience servicing Buderus Boilers, since I'm in need of routine maintenance on it.

We've been using them for years. They came out the first week of November. We get their yearly maintenance plan. The best part is they don't find anything wrong. I haven't really had a worse that I remember.

For many years we have had an on-going contract with AA Service to service our furnace and air conditioner on a twice annual basis. During our recent service call Lance, who is our technician at our request, found the inducer to be noisy. He ordered a replacement, the office called and made an appointment when the replacement arrived and Lance came at the appointed time and replaced the part and checked out the furnace to his satisfaction. Lance always makes his call a pleasure with his workman-like attitude and pleasant personality. Just recently he quickly squeezed in a visit between his regular calls to solve my befuddlement with our thermostat. AA Service, and Lance, understand the value to their company in caring for their current customers.

Prompt and fixed the problem very quickly.

Technician showed up promptly on time. Efficient us of his time. He was able to quickly identify the problem and have a solution which he implemented. Technician explained what he was doing and planned to do. Great Service once again from AA Service!!

They probably are middle of the row as far as expense, but the service is top notch. They call me regularly to schedule service appointments and they are exasperatingly careful of keeping things clean when they are here. They are very timely.

They sent Scott Sligowski to do the spring check-up. He called about 15-20 minutes before he came and arrived in the time slot they gave me. He was very professional - and discussed every aspect of the call with me. He gave me information on our air cleaner and taught me about the various alternatives we have to improve our HVAC system.

Summary: I will definitely call AA again and request Phet if possible. He did a great job. The Details: Due to an electrical issue leading to the furnace, my lennox stopped working. Once power was restored by the electrician he warned me that devices on that line might have problems which was the case. - Phet X. from AA Service came out after the electrician was done to figure out the issue. - Phet was on time and had called ahead to let me know he was on the way (Perfect!). - Within 15 minutes, he figured out that while he could detect juice going to the transformer, there was none coming out. 15 min later, he had a new transformer in. - - Before installing, he showed me the new part and the price that was in the book he carried (so he didn't make up the price on the fly which I've seen others due!). - After he fixed it and the furnace fired up, I figured he'd bill me and take off but he stayed cause he wanted to make sure the furnace fired up to stage 2. I didn't know what that was so he described it to me. I told him, I've never heard the furnace get louder or hotter than this. After 18 minutes, it never triggered stage 2. He did it manually and said I should have heard and felt it by now. Big Difference! - Phet looked up the Lennox model to check its wiring diagrams and realized it should have kicked in at 10 min (he told me its different for different brands). - He poked around for another 10 minutes and figured out the issue. The furnace had been installed (previous owner) expecting a 2 stage thermostat. However, I only had wires to support a 1 stage thermostat. He change jumpers to tell the furnace its a one stage thermostat and restarted the furnace. - 10 minutes later (to the second...I was timing it), the furnace went from stage 1 to stage 2 by itself. For years, the bedrooms upstairs were too cold and I always figured its just the vents or window seals or something. Nope, it was the furnace basically working at HALF capacity. All this time, I've been using space heaters in those bedrooms. Because of the technician's thoroughness and knowledge, he solved a problem I hadn't even called him for. It's like he installed a new furnace! Thanks Phet and AA!

Andy was our technician and he is really friendly and thorough. He reports all issues that he finds with our aging plant. We installed our current units 19 years ago. He is a pet friendly person who is good with kids and adults as well. We highly recommend AA because of their professional technicians.

We have a 20 year old, 4,000 sq/ft colonial home that had a single furnace and A/C unit that was not zoned. As you might imagine it was difficult to keep the house comfortably heated or cooled across the various levels. I had contacted a number of HVAC contractors in the area and while several came out to evaluate my options, none were willing to take on retrofitting my home with a multi-zone HVAC system. All of the contractors I spoke with essentially told me the same thing: the job would be complicated and difficult to do especially since we had a finished basement. The later reason being a concern since we had a drywall ceiling over a portion of the main supply trunk. I pretty much was resigned to live with a house that had the 2nd floor bedrooms too warm in the winter and difficult to cool in the summer while we are sweating or freezing on the main floor depending on what season we were in. That was until I did some research and read a number of extremely positive and complimentary reviews online about AA Service Company. When I called AA I was directed to Scott K who had extensive experience in zoned HVAC systems. He came to my home spent an hour or so looking at the current system and asked if he could return in a few days with Mike K, the company?s Construction Supervisor. Upon their return Mike and Scott spent about a half of a day tracing the supply ductwork throughout my house and drawing up a plan to provide a multi-zoned HVAC system. A few weeks later they returned with a crew of 5 led by Mike and spent two twelve hour days putting in our new system. All of the HAVC installers were professional, hardworking, courteous and respectful of our home. I could not be more pleased with the solution they provided and the quality of the work that was performed. Mike K is an absolute problem solver and has the attitude of working the problem until the solution is found. I would highly recommend AA Service Company to anyone that is considering the purchase and installation of a new HVAC system. They are a highly reputable organization that is not intimidated by difficult projects. People in any company make the difference and they have a staff of high quality and very knowledgeable technicians who are difference makers.

I obtained quotes from three different organizations plus AA Service with whom I had previous experience. All three sent me proposals for both replacement of my existing heating system as well as adding air conditioning. Twenty years ago AA had created a heating and cooling system for the second story of our house (which was designed to be only a 1.5 story house, not two.) They had been creative in their build out, but they had changed hands and I thought the service had suffered over the past few years (we're under a maintenance contract so I do have them perform a check-up twice a year.) The three other vendors approached the challenge of air conditioning a 85 year old house from a couple of perspectives: Ripping out the radiators (one is 12 feet long and actually weighs down the front of the house) and replacing them with forced air, or just adding space pak or something like it. AA didn't even jump at the chance to change out the existing Boiler and replace it - even though they had been maintaining it for 20 years. They said radiant heat was the best and I should keep it. They suggested the Unico system. This was consistent with what they had proposed 10 years ago when I last thought about air conditioning the first floor. The main reason I chose AA was because they had everything mapped out and details to the plan for installation in one meeting where the others had more than their fair share of time to consider what needed to be done. Some of the estimates were mind-boggling where I couldn't tell what to add or what was more efficient. I figured they were the experts and would make recommendations, not give me a laundry list of choices. AA came with a quote and one suggested upgrade to the quote. Far simpler to understand and straight forward. They were not the least expensive, but their quote was inline with the previous one I had received and they do follow up with the work that they do.

They go above and beyond and they are phenomenal. They sent 3-4 people out to do the job. I was really impressed with them and they are honest and full of integrity. They are really respectful of the house and put things on their shoes when they come into the house. They leave everything as clean as they found it.

AA was timely providing an estimate and performing the work. The price was good, a little lower than others I received. They also were able to handle the job quickly in what is a very busy heating & cooling season in Chicago. That was much appreciated. Everyone from AA was professional. The installers did an excellent job and accommodated my request to install a WiFi enabled thermostat (which I purchased elsewhere). I love the new system and appreciate the professional installation. I will use AA again.

They came out and they said their is nothing we can do for you. I told them what the problem was because i looked at it myself and the mortar was out. My thought was they would be able to get the part much quicker than i would be able to and they would be able to replace it and we would be able to run the unit for the rest of the winter. The did absolutely nothing and charged me 90 dollars for the service call. They gave us a space so we can have some heat in the house but he did nothing for us. It was a ridiculous price to have it fixed. He came on a Sunday and he did a lot of shortcuts. We had a fire hazard. We had been using them since 1999 for service checks. As a professional courtesy if you don't have a part, you leave a space. The owner was cajole but he never got back to me. It was really an awful experience and i don't want anybody to go through what i went through.

AA Heating and Cooling provided an estimate and installed a new air conditioner unit. In addition, they had performed furnace repair and cleaning, as well as my air conditioner cleaning... all since I bought my home three months ago. Neither my furnace nor my air conditioner was regularly maintained. Within eight days of moving into the home, the ignitor switch in my furnace broke causing the tempurature in the home to drop to 45 degrees. Panicked, I called AA Heating and Cooling to come out but expected to get ripped off since I am a new homeowner. The gentleman treated me with respect and explained what the issue was. I signed up immediately for an annual maintenance plan. Two days later, the new ignitor switch went bad. AA Heating and Cooling returned promptly, replaced the switch again and fully cleaned out the furnace that evening, although the appointment for the cleaning was scheduled for later that week. Fast forward to June, AA Heating and Cooling returned to clean my air conditioner. Now, this thing was old and looked like it was dropped from an airplane! They got it going and pumped just enough freon to cool my house while I investigated my options. In addition to several other companies, I called Brock from AA Heating and Cooling to provide an estimate. Other companies provided high estimates and "treated me like a woman", indicating I needed both a new air conditioner unit and furnace together. One said they wanted to have my electrical box inspected as well. Brock, on the other hand, gave me a quote, explained the cost, offered financing and did so without causing me to stress out. Unlike the others, the quote Brock provided was THE amount, period. He was willing to stand by his quote and would not increase it if there was an issue found when the unit was installed. Other companies were unwilling to do that. The installers arrived a few minutes early and worked well together. I was busy addressing other home tasks as they took care of everything. I could not be happier with my experiences with AA Heating and Cooling. Everyone there has been fabulous!

Tim is the best technician for the job, always ask for Tim when you schedule the maintenance work.

Tommy was, like all AA Service people, neat, competent, thorough, and nice. He inspected both of our furnaces/AC, changed filters and did other maintenance check-ups which he would have patiently explained if I had wanted him to. I didn't, because I have total confidence in AA Service Company. I can't speak highly enough about this company and their people.

They serviced our old service, we then bought a furnace from them. They have been prompt and they have provided good service for a reasonable price.
