Jakubek Inc Remodeling

This is the second time we hired David. The first was for a large basement remodel and the second was for a complete bathroom remodel. David and his team were easy to work with and did an amazing job with tile and paint. He was able to coordinate all extra needed projects. He is also doing work for family after we passed along his information. I would highly recommend them for any home renovations.

We are extremely satisfied with the work of Jakubek, Inc. The workers showed up promptly at 7:00am each day and worked until 4:00 or 5:00. They did high quality work and were very neat and courteous. There was excellent communication throughout the process. I highly recommend this company and would definitely hire them for future renovations.

They were excellent! They did beautiful work and were very professional in their interactions. They were responsive to questions and made adjustments as needed. Most importantly, they did exactly what they said they would do. The timing they estimated for the project was accurate and the costs were reasonable. We were very impressed with them and would not hesitate to recommend them.

The experience with them was great. The initial quote meeting was informative and they followed up with a detailed email of the quote. We customized that and schedule the work. They completed the work within the timeline they gave up front. They were easy to work with, great communicators, clean, and the work was great. I would definitely hire them again.

The remodel went fine. The workers showed up on time every day and the job was completed on schedule. Jakubek stripped the ceramic tiles that were on the walls and skim coated the plaster walls. The walls look great. They also installed vinyl flooring and new cabinets including a quartz countertop and backsplash. I now have a new kitchen. Jakubek was easy to contact and were very responsive to any questions or issues that I had.

These guys were great! Up front and detailed pricing , great communication and quality workmanship was had throughout our renovation. When they had questions, they asked, and always kept us in the loop. I will be using them again in the future.

Jakubek is a reliable family business, and we absolutely loved working with the father-son duo (David&Robert). They were on top of the project from the start, giving us a clear understanding of what to expect in what phase and their estimates were fair with clear breakdowns (unlike other companies giving you quotes based on fluffy assumptions). They have a good team of workers who did an excellent job in both our bathrooms, which we renovated, so the work included several things from structure change to tile installation, electrical, plumbing and handy services. More than the people or the work itself though, we appreciated the project management and communication from David. David constantly communicating and sharing updates on the project helped us move smoothly and stay on top of everything. We love our bathrooms now, and we feel like we live in a totally new home because both bathrooms completely changed! We look forward to working together with them again soon for our basement and cannot recommend them to you enough - you can thank us later :)

Jakubek did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. They were on time, worked with me on my ideas and concerns. I would definitely recommend them.

The entire crew was extremely professional. They are prompt and efficient with their time. They have always been punctual. They recommended a certain amount of recessed lighting in each of my rooms and now that the project is finished they were right in their estimate. The job is perfect. The paint job was also done perfectly. Both of our rooms were left spotless. They take care of all of the guesswork. In addition, they replaced all of my outlets. They used to be black and now they’ve been switched out to white. This crew, earlier in the year, also remodeled my bathroom. My bathroom now looks like it belongs in a high-end hotel. Next year they will come back to install hardwood flooring throughout my entire home. They are trustworthy and honest. I wouldn’t do work with anyone else.

It went well and the floors look great. The men did a wonderful job not just laying out the floors, they took the carpet out, moved the furniture and placed it back, and cleaned up after each days work. They were very professional and we are proud of the outcome.

I spoke with 3 general contractors regarding the project and chose Jakubek. Dawid and his father were punctual, responsive with follow-up questions, and provided a reasonable quote. Even though I read their highly recommended reviews on Angi's website, I was still nervous about picking a contractor. However, now that the project is completed, I can honestly say Jakubek Inc- father, son, & team were amazing! They shifted cabinets in my kitchen island and installed a new granite countertop to make space for a new 36-inch range to replace my 30-inch range. In addition, they created a new vent plus electrical and installed a new hood. They removed the existing sink and cabinet in the powder room and installed a new cabinet, sink, countertop, and mirror. I moved my furniture out of the main level to have hardwood floors refinished and realized how badly the walls needed to be repainted. They were able to accommodate a last-minute request to paint interior walls and ceiling. Admittedly, the breakdown price for refinishing the hardwood floors was a few thousand more than other quotes, but I liked the continuity of having 1 contractor handle all details. Jakubek removed the quarter-round modeling, the floors were refinished (looked fantastic!) and then re-installed new quarter-round modeling. The team also installed tiles by the backdoor entrance because previously, it was hardwood, and the floor was so damaged by tracking in water/snow. Honestly, I could not ask for a better contractor - so nice, trustworthy, helpful, and felt very comfortable having the team in the house to do the work. I will definitely recommend their work and use them for any future projects.

Jakubek did a great job on our basement remodel. David, Robert, Aric, and Tom showed up everyday on time, and were very polite, very quick, and very clean. They put down floor protection when they moved materials in and out of the house. At the start of each day they would explain what they were doing and at the end of the day we could walk through to check on progress and next steps. All of our requests were accommodated, and David was very responsive and flexible with change orders and a last minute decision that we made. Overall, the basement turned out great. It adds 50% more space to our house and provides a warm/clean place for the kids to play. If I could go back in time I'd hire David and Jakubek sooner.

I called Jakubek earlier in the year to get a quote for a kitchen remodel. I had a few requests for the remodel: take down a wall, get more counter and cabinet space and install a dishwasher (finally after 12 years in my house without one!). Dawid and Robert came out to my home and discussed with me what I wanted, took measurements and said they would need a few days to come up with a design. They gave me recommendations of websites to start looking at finishes and suggested I start thinking of what I would want for floors, counters, cabinets, etc. A few days later, they came back with an awesome design that incorporated all of the requests in a beautiful and functional manner. They gave me digital renderings of what it would look like and a fully detailed quote that was affordable in within my budget. To be honest, it came back on the lower end of my budget so I called them back and added to the scope of the work. We worked together to adjust the design to my liking and once it was perfect, we signed the contract. Through the whole process, the Jakubek team was extremely communicative and helpful in the planning process. They listed to what I wanted and helped me achieve it. Every time I had a question, it was answered quickly and honestly. Although I picked all the finishes and colors myself, Dawid was always helpful in giving me honest opinions on whether what I picked would work and be functional in my new kitchen. He soon became a trusted advisor and I felt very confident in his recommendations. He kept me informed of the work happening on the project every day. I really appreciated the communication! They worked very efficiently and professionally. Always punctual. At the end of every day, my home was left in an organized and clean manner and they completed all the work in logical order so that the progress flowed properly. All the details were completed just as they had promised and I was really impressed with their craft. It was really enjoyable to watch it all come to reality. So I started with a kitchen remodel and ended up with a beautifully renovated home. I mentioned before that I added to the scope of work in the beginning and then added again two more times! Each time I requested the additional work, Dawid would give me all the details on cost and how it would effect the completion date. So not only did I have the kitchen done (including all new wood cabinets and quartz counters, took down the wall and moved the footprint/layout of the kitchen), I had new hardwood floors installed on my first level and had existing hardwood floors and stairs refinished on my second floor. They painted my entire first floor and upstairs hallway, installed all new trim on my doors and windows on my first and second floor and replaced all my doors too! I literally have a new house thanks to Jakubek!

Jakubek Inc is awesome! The customer service and fast action is like no other. Due to COVID we thought it might take weeks to get our countertops, they were there within a week! When you have remodeling done, you worry about the dust and clean up, Jakubek Inc was so efficient and never left for the day without making sure our place livable.

The bathroom remodel exceeded our expectations. Our bathroom is stunning. David and his team are true professionals, each one nicer than the next. Everyone on the team I met was very friendly. I had no problems having them work at my house without anyone being home. We replaced everything in the bathroom...demo’d down to the studs. Heated floors, custom shower doors, beautiful herringbone pattern subway tiles and a large waterfall shower head. We are so happy with Jakubek that we are now having them give us estimates on putting in hardwood floors throughout the house!

AMAZING JOB! This was the second major project we hired Jakubek Remodeling to do in the past year. They transformed a 4 bare walled cinderblock basement into an amazing space for our family to relax in. From designing the space to construction, the owners Robert and David were helpful with suggestions, from materials to lighting options. They were accommodating when last minute ideas were added and not once were they late.. Absolute professionals. The basement is more than we could have dreamed possible. We had a laundry room, main room and a gaming nook put in. There is also an entire wall of storage that you wouldn't believe. They created a mechanical room to hide our water tank and furnace. Its a site to behold. They provide the utmost quality and they make sure you are 100% happy with every step they take with your project. When you are comparing estimates remember you are paying for quality and this company is worth every penny.

Jakubek was respectful of our home and treated as such. We hired them to help finish our stairways to our 2nd floor. We were extremely please with the results and would hire them again.

This remodel was supervised by me long distance. The communication was great. The quality of work was first class. They got the job done quickly and efficiently at a reasonable cost. Very pleased.

Jakubek Ink provided an excellent service. Their professionalism and attention to detail is superb, they were happy to discuss our ideas and make suggestions when necessary. They were always punctual and kept their deadlines. When a minor issue arose, they were quickly to respond despite being after hours before the weekend. I highly recommend them, and will not hesitate to hire them again when needed.

Our new bathroom is amazing. The team helped us work with their architect to create a wonderful new bathroom. The second bathroom is also lovely. This is a great group and very easy to work with.

They did a great job! Everything was done within 1 week. They were able to order the doors I choose and picked them up. They kept the work area clean and sectioned off so not to spread any construction debris. And they cleaned any debris up everyday. This is the second time I have used them. I highly recommend the workers and this company. Just plan ahead for time as they are busy but definitely worth the wait!
