Scientific Home Services did a great job! I had all of my basement windows replaced and they look great. They were very responsive and great to work with. As a realtor, I would highly recommend them to any of my clients.

Scientific did a great job replacing our double-hung window & frame at a fair price - many providers refused to do a 1-window job, or charged outrageous prices for a relatively small job. The work was done promptly, properly, with no mess left behind.

Mark & Jon at Scientific Windows provide everything you want when dealing with a company. From the first meet to the completion of the work the company provided professional, courteous service. The excellent workmanship was beyond compare to any company I've worked with. The product itself, Imperial LS Vinyl windows, has delivered everything they promised. Jon came out and reviewed our needs and advised us of our options. He told us where we could save money and when told who the competition was, told us they also have a good product. Such Honesty is so rare these days.NO HIGH PRESSURE sale technique. NO HARD up-sell of unneeded upgrades. The Install team was phenomenal. They were perfectionists and very accommodating and patient with my questions. They left my backyard cleaner than when they arrived.

They were always responsive in providing estimates and guidance on their products. The installations were efficient and beautifully done. The Windows and doors are substantial and perform smoothly.

They were professional, prompt and so helpful. I would recommend again and again!

Victor was fantastic! He explained exactly what was wrong with our window, and he showed me where the problem was coming from (we have one of those windows that slams shut when you open it). He repaired it quickly, and then he fixed and rehung our screen door. He also gave me some great advice on our back door, and on how to reinforce the screen so our dog doesn't break it again (our dog sees squirrels and she bolts out the back). I am very pleased with the service and I am so glad that we called Scientific to help us with our window and door. If we have any future issues, we will definitely call and request to have Victor come out again.

We spoke with three companies and went with Scientific. Jonathan was my first contact and he was informative and very helpful. On the day of installation, Damien and his crew were very professional. They covered all of the furniture and worked expediently. At the end he demonstrated how to open the windows for cleaning, etc. We love the windows and would highly recommend Scientific.

Victor was extremely professional, I can't say enough good things about him. The windows were ready a little earlier than expected and the wait time for installation was less than a week. The limiting factor was my schedule, they were available. The windows are like new now. The cost was half of what another company (with only average reviews) estimated for me. At the estimate visit Victor repaired (at no cost) one of the cranks on one of the windows. I wasn't able to close it and was stuffing it with rags to keep the draft out. Without a hesitation he fixed it for me. Very nice of him to do. I have given his information to my realtor friend who needs repair services often. I highly recommend Victor and Scientific Home Services.

Really happy with the experience. We had what we thought were excellent bids from 2 highly-rated Angie's List contractors, but when we researched the window brand they both proposed, we found mixed reviews. We then contacted Scientific Home Services and are glad that we did. Jon came to our house and gave us a pleasant, low-pressure presentation and gave us a quote on Soft-Lite windows, The reviews on this brand were much more favorable than the other one, and the cost was comparable. Installation went well too -- quick and clean. Windows looks great.

We contracted with Scientific Home Services to replace 11 windows in the spring of 2015, after Jon came and met with us and drafted a detailed quote. Jon was enjoyable, straightforward, and upfront about the project. Beware of other vendors that try to pressure you to have you sign up right away (hello Andersen Renewal and the three and a half hours "hijacking"). Most importantly, while he wasn't the cheapest, he proposed what I viewed as some of the most technically sound windows out there (from Soft-Lite). Few months later, the windows arrived, and Damian and his crew did the install in one day, from inside the unit. They were fast, and clean. Anyone walking in the unit in the evening could not have said we had 11 new windows installed the same day, given how clean they left the unit. About a year later, we sold our unit, to buy a larger unit in the same building. The windows were undoubtedly a selling point. Upon moving into the new unit, we contracted a day after closing with Scientific Home Services, given the terrific job they had done in the previous unit (same Imperial LS windows from Soft-Lite). The job was however a lot more complex, with ceilings reaching 23 feet high, and 12 of the 27 windows very high-up. The windows were also reaching a size greater than what most manufacturers can do, but Soft-Lite's advanced technology enabled them to meet that challenge. Damian and Yuri did again a tremendous job installing the windows - arguably their most complex job to date. Given the complexity, it took three days to install them (again from the inside); it involved a much more prevalent safety component (being on a scaffold inside, and most of the time harnessed). The house was again protected so no debris would generate any damage, and every evening the crew would clean the house prior to leaving. A second job extremely well done!

Very well. John came and gave us an estimate after work one evening, and was able to answer all our detailed questions about energy efficiency of different products. The windows came in quicker than expected, and Damian and his colleague completed the installation in just two days. The windows are great, and the insulation they added has made our house noticeably more comfortable. We appreciated the care they took with a lead-safe installation.

Each step of the process was professional and smooth. This was our second experience with Scientific. Scheduling and receiving a quote was easy to do. Since their quote was competitive and we feel good about the quality of their windows, we felt comfortable working with them again. Damian Kusek and his coworker showed up on time, were extremely professional, and did the work in less then the estimated time. They left the house as clean as before they arrived and were helpful in demonstrating the work that was done. We would happily work with them again on future projects.

Mr. John from scientific came to my home and I felt comfortable he wasnt pushy, he explained to me the process of the work to be done, the brand of windows he carried and there was never any pressure. I called him and emailed him a few times before, during and after the process and he always answered all my questions. The windows came 6 weeks after just like Mr. John said. Damian came on installation day and he went above and beyond making sure he covered all my furniture, always answering my questions, he worked non stop, his caulk work is a work of art. Damian gave me a quick demonstration on how to use and take care of my windows and patio door. Since installation I have not felt any drafts or had any condensation on my windows, my furnace comes on a lot less and feels warmer in my home. scientific services is a great trustworthy company that goes above and beyond. Mr John is a very nice owner who cares about the job and product they offer and make sure their clients are happy with the finish product.

We moved into a condo that we knew ahead of time needed windows replaced. After our move-in, one window was opened and would not shut- it was stuck OPEN! I called multiple window vendors, and all except Scientific Home Services said they couldn't help us because it was the busy season. Jon came out the next morning and measured our windows- we were so impressed he made time to fit us in given they were also swamped. In the end we replaced five windows and had frames and jambs added to two, which were bare. The windows arrived six weeks after our initial meeting with Jon. Damian did our installation, we couldn't have been more impressed. It was one of the coldest days of the month, measuring only 2* that morning. He worked for over 8 hours to install all five windows and build the frames/jambs. Very professional, his work was great. No issues that we see. He also was very respectful of our condo building, spent a good deal of time retracing his steps to ensure everything was cleaned up. He gave us a quick demo on how to open the windows and clean them before he left.

We love the quality of the product. The sales process went very smoothly and we didn't feel pressured. Installation went smoothly, but if I had it to do over again I would have covered our new hardwood floors. There were a couple scratches/dents from the guys who put them in. Overall a great product and we were really happy with the company.

We could not be happier with our decision. The work that Scientific completed, removing and repairing rotten wood from the outside sills and frames, then casing the repairs in Aluminum exceeded my hopes and expectations. The appearance from inside and out is terrific. Once the work was completed, the house seems noticeably quieter. These windows suppress the sounds from the street very effectively and there is not a hint of air leakage even of the several very windy days we have seen in recent weeks. Jon and Mark are great to work with and the installers did their work quickly, neatly, and were cooperative in every way. In addition, they were very nice guys!!! We were given the option of adding photo to this review, but it is dark out and we are on the way to the airport. I may check back latter and see if we can add, but if not...it looks great!

I still think this is one of the best companies on Angie's List; I would have just hired Scientific to replace two doors, but Jon explained a much less costly repair. Price was competitive, delivery and installation was as promised. Workers were good, worked late and did a few extras. Tenants seem happy with the windows.

I was very happy with this company--from the initial meeting with its owner, Jon Koloms, to the final installation, performed by two workers, including Damian Kusek, who directed the work. Jon's estimate was reasonable, and his close inspection of my old windows and thorough explanation gave me confidence that the job would be done carefully. The scheduling was good, the job took a day and a half, and since the windows were inserted from the outside and both workers were so careful when they had to work inside the house, they left no mess for me to clean up. The evening of the completion, I accidentally set a hot coffee cup on the windowsill and made a dent in the damp caulking. I called Damian, and he stopped by the next morning to touch it up. Both he, his helper, and Jon were friendly and completely professional throughout. The windows themselves are beautiful, and I can already tell my house is less leaky.

It went great. They were easy to work with, did a great job and we hope the windows are zero maintenance!
