I am very pleased with my window replacement through Scientific Home Services. The windows look beautiful and work wonderfully. I put off replacing windows for quite some time because I was afraid of the process. But the installers worked efficiently and had everything like new in a few hours. Both Mark and Jon are wonderful to work with. I am the third homeowner in my subdivision to hire Scientific, and with good reason.

Starting two years ago, we have replaced every window on our first floor--that's 14 windows). Because we bought high-end (Marvin) windows, it was too expensive a project to do all at once. Jon Koloms has come out multiple times, provided extensive information, been a terrific help (and hand-holder) and we can't say enough great things about him. There were issues along the way (windows were measured wrong once and had to be re-ordered) and, as with any product, we needed adjustments to the mechanisms but their brilliant fix-it man, Victor, was wonderful. Not only do they offer great products in a range of prices and with more options than we thought possible, they stand completely behind the products and their service is top-notch. We would recommend them without hesitation and could not be happier with all our interactions.

Everything went very well. They installed our new storm windows in one day as scheduled and cleaned up nicely. The new windows are such a great improvement over the old ones. There was one minor issue about caulking, and they responded promptly and fixed the problem with a smile.

The whole process was very easy and on time. Jon came once to measure the window which ended up being available earlier than promised. The install team was very nice and knowledgeable and installed the window in no time. They cleaned up afterwards and the condo was as clean as before the installation. The new windows look great and our condo is much quieter.

From start to finish, the window replacement process with Scientific Home was seamless. While we did encounter supply delays and illness due to the Covid-19 pandemic, communication throughout was A+ and the quality once installed is top-notch. The installers were so careful not to make a mess; once they were done, I could not find any dust! I have already referred Scientific Home to one of my best friends for his new townhouse!

Easy to schedule. Victor came out to inspect the window and measure the glass, and on a second visit he installed a new glass pane into our window frames. He was knowledge and respectful. Overall, the quality of work was good for a reasonable price.

From the estimate through installation, everything went smoothly. John gave clear explanations of the products Scientific Home Services proposed to use, the one-time transferable life-time warantee, how scheduling the installation worked, what to expect during the installation, and the total cost. John was readily available if any question arose. We experienced zero pressure.He also communicated with our HOA Board to ensure the products met its standards. The installers arrived ontime, covered exposed furnishings, did the work in one day, and thoroghly cleaned work areas. Most important, the windows look great. We highly recommend Scientific Home Services; it earned the five-star rating.

We had this company install a dozen windows last year with excellent results, so we hired them to install nine more. Our openings are very large (74" high), so we needed widows with strong frames. I discovered by researching the many available brands that Soft-lite is among the best--Scientific carries the Imperial line. The new windows look great. They have all the energy efficient features of contemporary windows but also match the look of our house, which is 100+ years old. The installers did an outstanding job: showed up on time, worked fast, cleaned up, and skillfully capped and caulked the exterior wood trim (no more painting!). Customer service was excellent from start to finish. Jon, who gave us the original bid, explained everything clearly and let us decide—no high-pressure tactics. Good communication, too. There was a delay from the manufacturer (Soft-Lite) caused by Covid, and Scientific kept us fully informed about that and efficiently scheduled the installation as soon as the windows arrived.

Great quality, excellent service, responsive to needs. Installers are very respectful of our home and they clean up after their worked. If I have more windows or doors to be replaced, I will use them again. The quality of their product is excellent with lifetime warranty, without questions.

Mark and the installation team were great. The company ran into some COVID-related delays right after we scheduled the install but was super upfront when the issues arose and kept in constant communication, so we never felt out of the loop. The work was done at a house built in 1902. It is currently a duplex rental property, and the tenants all commented how nice and helpful the installation team was.

We replaced all the windows on our first and second floors (14 total) with Climate Solutions vinyl windows. The old windows were original construction (70 years old) single-pane windows so our house was drafty even during mild winters. The difference after installation was night and day: cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter, and our utilities bills decreased. Everyone at Scientific Home was extremely professional. They were honest during our initial consultation and reliable when it came time to install. We have an infant in our home, so we were especially concerned about lead exposure, but they couldn't have been more careful about covering our furniture and cleaning when they were done. Around 9 months later the caulk seal around some of the windows had shrunk and began letting in cool air, but Victor offered to come out same day to fix it at no charge. Pricing was fair and competitive. Almost a year later, we're 100% satisfied with the windows and service provided by SH and I'll continue recommending them to everyone I can.

I needed to replace all of the vinyl windows in my 2500 square foot two-story house (15 openings, I believe). I researched window companies that served my area based on reviews and came up with a list of five organizations. I then requested estimates from the top two on my list. Scientific Home Services was one of those I called. While you won't see any advertisements for Scientific Home Services, their reviews put them at the top of my list. Based on the estimates I received, an examination of the windows being offered and their specifications, and the warranties being offered, it was clear that Scientific Home Services offered the best value for me. I got premium double-hung vinyl windows (Climate Solutions 8000 Series) with LoE-366 glass, argon fill, and a transferable lifetime warranty for only a few hundred dollars more (in total) than the other organization's basic window. Scientific Home Services crew installed all of the new windows in a matter of two days. The crew was organized and worked well together. They seemed to enjoy their work. When I pointed-out that a few of the windows appeared to be binding, or when they ran across other problems during installation, they knew what to do and properly addressed the situations. I'm very pleased with the new windows and their appearance, the service I have received, and how much better insulated my house now is. I highly recommend doing business with Scientific Home Services. If you're looking for windows, I recommend you give Jon or Mark a call. My experience has been that they are very honest, open, and knowledgeable about the entire process of installing and replacing windows.

Scientific Home Services was recommended to me by a neighbor who used Scientific a number of years ago and was pleased with the work quality. I had a total of 11 windows (9 double hung, 2 large picture, and 1 casement) replaced. The exterior wood was aluminum wrapped and seal. Interior gaps filled, trimmed, and caulked. The install was completed in a single day. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, cleaned up afterward and was readily willing and able to answer my questions. I would highly recommend Scientific Home Services and use them again myself without hesitation except that I don't expect to need any additional work done on the replaced windows given the quality of installation.

Went well despite all the COVID issues (delays due to supplier and worker illnesses). Crew was professional and installed the windows well. Crew wore masks during the entire process. Windows look great and function really well.

This project went very well. The door is a good quality and most important, the installers did an excellent job in putting the new door in. The door works well, looks great, and I would definitely use this company again in the future for other window projects.

Very happy with the work. First they came out to measure and give us an estimate, and then after ordering the new windows, scheduled a morning to come back a few weeks later and install them. The install took less than two hours for all the windows, there was no mess, and all the windows look great.

I got all new windows. I waited for a while to post review. Window quality is good and has lifetime warranty for labor and parts. Installation was almost good. I said almost, because chuaking was not proper at few places, it was not like there was gap but it was not smooth. People might not think much about rough chauking or lumps on it. But it is at the place where I see it very often and many would say I am picky about this. That’s why didnt reduce any rating but wanted to give my honest feedback here.

You have to give Scientific Home Services a chance before you have another company do your windows and or other work on your home. I called them to see how and what they could come up with with a wall of windows that were 60 years old on the front yard of our home. Other companies were not only over priced, they had very few options based on what they even new. I worked in the building trades for almost 26 years before my health made that work impossible to do. To many companies are simply charging too much for lower quality items. Too many companies have very limited means and experience so they only sell the most expensive way as the right way. Scientific Home Services did not even try any hard sales methods and really came up with a great solution to our wall of windows. They listened to what we were thinking and came up with a great idea for the project which my wife and I both felt very comfortable with.The pricing was half of some very famous window companies that advertise on TV but even more importantly, the knowledge and quality of the product - service - installation was far better than we could have ever expected. They were very honest and the quality of there work in all ways was exceptional. I will be referring them to all my friends and family and will use them again for other jobs on my home.
