The craftsman who performed the removal of the old window and the replacement of the new was great. He was very professional and and efficient in his work. His attentional to detail was clear and unrushed. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Scientific Home Services was great. They were courteous, thoughtful and clearly knowledgeable about windows. We discussed options and Jon had great suggestions about what would work in my home. The quality of the windows is high and we are very happy with the finished product.

Victor was a pleasure to deal with. We scheduled a visit for the window estimate, he gave me the details and timeline, and then returned on schedule to replace the glass. He was very professional-- tidy, precise, polite. Cost seemed reasonable, I had feared it would be more. Work is excellent.

I got quotes from like 4 different window companies and we went with them. They still need to fix something. They've been fantastic. They are all great to work with. They have, in my opinion, the best balance between quality and price. They're very helpful and they didn't try to over sell me. The guy was very honest. He could have sold me another window or 2. He was quite honest and I really appreciated that. They did a great job on installation. The only interesting experience was one of the windows was supposed to be opaque in the garage. They somehow messed up the order and they actually put a clear pane in there. I caught it on the day of install and they promised they would come back and replace the glass and the window installation was not going to be affected. They did a great job on the installation however, one of the screens was damaged so they're going to come back and replace it. They look fantastic. We're very pleased. It was just minor stuff. There was a scratch in the bathtub but they said they were going to fix that too.

great to work with, followed up very fast on communicating. techs were highly skilled and top notch. covered rooms with plastic in case of dust during old window removal. cleaned up everything when completed. fun and friendly to work with. can't say enough positive about this company.

SHS made a great impression from the start with their no hassle or aggressive sales pitch/presentation approach when providing an estimate. It was fast and I didn't have to sit through a 2 hour sales pitch followed by 30 minutes of negotiations. They simply came in with a competitive quote the first time. The delivery and installation was done on-time and complete in a day as they stated during the quote. There were a few small workmanship issues that I noticed after the installation but they were back in a couple of days and address them perfectly. Their lead, who came to address the issues also fixed a sticking door that wasn't even part of the install.

So far so good, but awaiting delivery of windows/doors.

Worked very quickly on the day of installation. Excellent quality, and worked with us to get a window product that fit our expectations. Ours was not as involved as some window jobs, but we felt like we were treated well and got personalized attention.

Removed the old door that was poorly made and had a leak into the basement.

Sales: The whole process start to finish was great. Jon was fair and honest with us the entire time and answered every question we had along the way. He even honored a quote that he had given us nearly 3 years earlier when we first bought the house. The quote was very competitive and the process was much easier vs. a larger competitor we had also looked at. Work: The windows came in ahead of schedule and they installed all 16 in under two days. I was skeptical when they said two days and shocked when they actually did it. Damian is a machine and he and his crew were awesome. They cleaned up along the way and left the house in essentially the same shape that it started in. I went over all of the windows after they were done and nothing looked sloppy or rushed. Inside and out they turned out great. You can tell these guys have alot of experience doing this. I would highly recommend these guys.

Start to finish --great experience. I got all the information I needed, but no pressure. And bonus--the job was supposed to take all day and they finished two hours early.

Everything turned out perfect. The framing of the windows was done expertly.

Very well. When taking down the kitchen blinds, a clip broke. Ok. I'll replace it (It was at a very awkward angle due to window being behind the sink and you have to lean over, reach up and hold on to nothing). I am very happy with the new windows. Much better air exchange in the basement, kitchen easy to open and close and attic windows are just what were needed. Window order came in ahead of schedule by about 3 weeks and the whole job was completed in about 5 hours of work (including grinding out 4 glass block windows). They even cleaned up nicely after themselves, something the original glass block company didn't do. Not the cheapest estimate this time or the last time we used them, but well worth the difference.

very well -- came out promptly to estimate the job, which focused on the type and high quality of windows that we were interested in (contrary to another company that gave a bid), and volunteered advice on saving as much of the original, old-growth wood framing as possible so that our new windows would have greatest durability. Correct estimation of time for windows to be made (custom Marvin), each apartment had different interior finish. Extremely tidy on work site, inside and out. Installers were courteous and respectful of owners, worked efficiently and flexibly with owners' hours, did a beautiful job -- clearly experienced, the company did not hire just anyone for the job.

Great. They were very professional, cleaned up after themselves, great windows, responsive. I would definitely recommend them. I wouldn't have known they were there except for the amazing new windows and patio door.

They are amazing. Probably the best service I have ever had from a company. They were responsive, prompt and the job site was immaculate when they were done.

This is a great company to work with. Highly recommended. John came to my place to provide the estimate and he did a wonderful job describing the product and the different alternatives so we could compare. He didn't try to oversell or push for us to buy (like other companies did). He was very honest in answering our questions. Once we committed to the job, he sent someone to do the measurements and he pointed out all the potential issues they needed to fix and how they would go about it. In his measurements he was able to confirm we could get standard size doors while another company was quoting a fortune because they said we needed custom sized doors. The delivery and installation was also smooth. Damian was our installer and his crew did a very clean and efficient job. They were careful around my home covering the furniture to protect from dust. The outside finishing and insulation looks great and it's top quality. Damian even had to come back several days to finish the outside of a couple of windows due to rain and he was always on time. I can say enough good things about Scientific. Go with them!

From John who came out the first time, and was extremely patient as I researched to Mark who took over and graciously scheduled around the weather and my work to Damian and Yuri who did the actual install everyone couldn't have been nicer to work with. The installers took care with our home, were more than accommodating and worked hard to get the job done right.
