They are great. Our housekeeper, Maria, was through MPC and we used her for two years. She was very thorough and extremely honest. We will miss this group. One note is that you have to provide your own cleaning supplies for them, but don't let that turn you off. They really do a great job and Maria truly cared about our family. Update 2015: Since moving to the west coast, we have tried two other cleaning agencies. We can find nobody as thorough and caring as Maria was with our home. My husband and I have remarked several times to one another how spoiled we were with the excellent service we received. Most agencies charge similar rates and do not deliver consistent quality. Glad to see this company is still doing well.

Barbara did an inspection and quote before services were completed. Large crew came in to clean 4 BR 1 BA home in approximately 5 hours. The price was a bit high, but we had a very small window of time to complete the cleaning, and we were stretched thinly trying to pack up the condo we were moving from. I am grateful that Major Cleaning Professionals were able to help, and on such short notice. I know that such a large crew needed to be paid, so I understand the cost involved. I'm not so sure I would hire again at that price. I would have preferred more detail cleaning (dusting above cabinets, ceiling fans, for example) as there are still a number of things to do. I think it would be worth it for 8 hours of work vs. 5. Again, we were in a pinch, so we took the offer. Barbara is a tough lady (think: drill sergeant) and scolded the remodeling crew for being messy (in Polish), which we thought was funny. I secretly thought she was right, but now I am afraid of her. Do not mess with this lady, as she does not tolerate lateness or disorganization, even by her customers. She is reliable, and you can trust this company to be punctual.

Our cleaner's work was amazing - it is so great to come home to a sparkling fresh home! When you first call the serivce, Barbara, the owner, will come out and give you a quote and you have some options such as having the cleaner do laundry, etc. They also tell you what supplies and equipment to buy as they dont want to cross contanimate with other houses they are cleaning. I believe the service is also licensed and bonded, too, which you might not always get with the smaller independent cleaners. She even texts, which I love, so that is a plus in my book too. We were assigned to our cleaner, Hieleski, who did AMAZING work. She did everything, from the floors to the bathrooms, kitchens, under the beds - everything was clean each and every time. She would leave little notes when we needed more supplies and you know EVERYTHING was being cleaning because sometimes odd things would be moved like magnets on the fridge, or odds and ends you dont touch regularly. My only "negative" - and it is a very very minor one - was we had canceled a handful of times due to holidays. We received somewhat of a guilt trip from Barbara, the owner, for canceling even though we did it in advance, but Barbara would state that her cleaners depend on this money. My cleaning day was Monday so unfortunately a few holidays fell on my cleaning day and I did not want the service that day. I understand, but the "guilt trip" was not needed. Next time around I will not have Monday as my cleaning day. We used Major Cleaning Professionals for over a year and would highly recommend them. We've also recommended them to two friends who are currently using their services and are very pleased!

We have had a great experience with Major Cleaning Professionals and Violetta, who cleans our 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath house every two weeks. She is always on time, diligent, and very thorough. Our house looks great and we are very happy with the service.

We were very satisified with their work. Scheduling was good, they were not able to get us an appointment as soon as I would have liked. They were able to schedule an appointment for ten days after my call.

We had a great experience with Major Cleaning Professionals. Barbara runs a tight ship and is extremely professional. Joanna consistently did a wonderful job in cleaning our home. We have a large furry dog and two small children so thoroughly cleaning our four bedroom house is a big job! Joanna was always punctual, hard working, and extremely pleasant to work with. The manager who runs the company, Barbara, all of the sudden says that I can't accommodate you for the day you normally have your home cleaned. Basically, the manager told our cleaning lady that she wasn't going to clean our house on Thursdays anymore even though she had done so for the past five years. My cleaning lady is terrific but the manager is very unprofessional. I talked to my friend who owned a cleaning service for over five years and she even said that is was really unprofessional. I just think that five years with a customer you don't do this to them. I just think this is a total breach of good faith and it reflects badly on her.

Amazing! I just came home to the most beautifully cleaned home - it feels like Christmas morning! Barbara was very responsive and I'm so happy that we were able to set something up on relatively short notice. I have three large dogs so our home gets pretty hairy and dirty quickly. My husband said that Anna was delightful and the dogs loved her :) This was the best money I have spent in a very long time! You will not regret it!

We are very happy with this company. Barbara sends us Angela and we LOVE her. If you get Angela, you will not be disappointed. Although, i'm sure all the cleaners at the company are great. Barbara came for the initial consultation and had a good balance of giving her opinion and advice mixed with listening to our needs and requirements. She sends us Angela who has been cleaning our house every 2 weeks for over a year now. My husband is borderline OCD with cleanliness and has a very hard time finding cleaners who live up to his standard. He's VERY happy with Angela though. He says his favorite time of the week is when he comes home from work on an 'Angela day'. Angela is very professional, efficient, friendly, and all around very likeable and doesn't seem to mind when we happen to be home on occasion when she is there. I know that can be annoying for some cleaners but if she minds, she doesn't show it. We also switched our days at one point and Barbara accomodated us quickly, which i know can't have been easy as she had to find someone who was ok with switching with us. My only complaint would be that it's on the pricey side. I have friends who pay less for similar or even larger houses. My husband and i have discussed switching a few times purely due to cost but, because we like Angela so much and she's been so great at cleaning our place, we never really bothered looking into other options. I would recommend Barbara and her company to anyone and have actually done so a few times.

We desperately needed help to give our new home a deep cleaning before we moved in last month. The previous owners left it in quite a mess plus we had had painters and flooring people in for the three weeks prior so the house needed a lot of work. Barbara and her crew of 6 workers spent all day giving the house a top to bottom cleaning. We were very pleased with the job they did and will be using this company to clean our home on a routine basis starting in a few weeks.

Major Cleaning has been cleaning for us for about a year now I think. The owner comes out to make an initial tour. She is very thorough and reviews what will be done and provides a list of the products she would like you to provide. These were basic cleaning products, nothing fancy. The lady who cleans for us is Bozena and she does a wonderful job. The owner is very involved and sometimes is here at the beginning or the end of a visit. If I have every had a question she is very available. Bozena does a very thorough job every time she is here. She cleans two bathrooms, vacuums, dust and mops three bedrooms, an enclosed porch, dining room, and living room. Kitchen is cleaned extremely well, she even cleans inside the refrigerator each time. It is wonderful to have such reliable and hard working company to deal with.

MAJOR CLEANING PROFESSIONALS,INC is fantastic! We interviewed 4-5 housecleaning companies in the area. Many were like used car salesmen and were very pushy. MAJOR CLEANING PROFESSIONALS,INC was very professional, not aggressive, came out around my schedule to do the interview and walk-around, and has been fantastic! Our cleaning lady comes consistently on-time and does a fantastic job. She always does what it takes, even if it requires more time. Our first cleaning, she was there a very long time to ensure the job was done right, and still does an extremely good job. I think we've been using MAJOR CLEANING PROFESSIONALS,INC now for 3+ months (6+ occasions) and will be used their services indefinitely. The owner of the company and the cleaning lady are very kind and professional. Whenever you need to re-schedule, ask a question or etc, the owner gets back to you over email nearly immediately. Also, we have a Labrador Retriever and the cleaning lady has no issues with our dog, or it following her around, and is very kind to it. That was a pleasant surprise! My wife and I are so happy with our decision and with MAJOR CLEANING PROFESSIONALS,INC. We definitely recommend!

They cleaned a new 3 story 2000 sf. new construction townhouse. They are very professional and knowledgeable about their job.

My husband and I have been using Major Cleaning Professionals every two weeks for the last two years to clean our 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home. The same person comes to our home every two weeks on time and we could not be happier with the job that she does. Would highly recommend using this company.

Barbara, the owner came to assess the situation prior to quoting price and scheduling. She was prompt, professional and thorough. We agreed to terms and she showed up the next Saturday w/ three of her employees at the appointed time. What occurred next was the most wonderful experience i've ever had with a cleaning service. The ladies worked from 9:30 -2:30 and literally cleaned everything til it sparkled and shined. The whole house smelled wonderful. Literally, from all the ceiling light fixtures, light switches, windows, inbetween them, removing 15 months of construction dust and years of grease left in the kitchen, all kitchen and bathroom cabinets, fixtures and appliances as well as my hardwood floors and vacuuming all the carpet and dusting. And they did it all with a smile. I will definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

We are new to our neighborhood and were looking for a cleaning service. We were disappointed with the first company we used from Angies list and actually had to get a refund. We called another service that a neighbor liked, and they never called back. So it finding a service was harder than expected. I decided to try Major Cleaning prof. due to the good reviews on Angies list. The owner Barbara came out and I gave her a walk through. She was very professional and knowledgable. She quoted the price and gave a list of supplies the cleaners would need. That caught us a little off guard, but she explained that we probably didn't want rags that were used in someone else's home, or mystery cleaning supplies that could be watered down, which makes sense. We had most of the supplies in our home anyway, so it ended up not being a big deal. They did an excellent job. House was clean, beds made, no dings on wall, etc. We will be using them for our regular cleaning service.

It went well. I have been happy with the results.

When you call Major Cleaning Professionals, the first step is for the proprietor, Barbara, to visit your home and quote you a price. She consults her binder of schedules to find one of her workers who can accommodate you in their schedule. $80 is definitely on the high side, but my place was a wreck when Barbara first saw it, and I'd had bad experiences with some other cleaners so I was inclined to accept the $80 rate from a service rated highly on Angie's List. For about a year, Nina has come every two weeks to clean my condo. She's punctual, friendly, and detail-oriented. One caveat: If you want a cleaning service that will come to your house while you're at work, you're out of luck. Major Cleaning Professionals' workers don't accept housekeys and work while you're gone. I imagine this cuts down the risk of any hard-to-dispute false allegations of theft. Update: Am glad to learn from Barbara at Major Cleaning Professionals that they do accept keys, they just don't ask for them. I would absolutely trust Nina with my keys. I wouldn't say it takes 4 hours to clean my place, though. I think it's closer to 3 hours. Previous cleaning ladies have charged me $50 to $60, but I am okay paying more to have reliable service I can trust, and the good ratings from Angie's List and good experience have provided me with that trust.

My townhouse is thoroughly cleaned, dusted, vacuumed and mopped every other week. I'm very satisfied with the cleaning service provided. Barbara is always very responsive if I need to modify my cleaning schedule.

I'm so glad that they help me with this difficult task. They did excellent job. With out a blink I will call them again.

I used this company to clean my 1,100 sf 2 bed/2bath condo following extensive renovations that included installing a new hardwood floor, drywall work, and painting. Needless to say my condo was very dusty. Barbara came over by herself at first to review what I wanted to have done and we scheduled for a group of 2 cleaners to come on a Saturday. When the crew came, Barbara showed them in detail what was to be cleaned and left them to do the work. these two women cleaned every inch of my condo including all the items on bookshelves, paintings, you name it. I was very impressed. They started work at 10am and did not leave until around 5pm. I say that not because they are slow but because of their meticulous attention to detail. Needless to say, I would highly recommend their services.

Barbara and her team were wonderful! Barbara came by our house to give an estimate. She listened to my concerns and walked through the house observing the conditions prior to giving an estimate of both the cost and time it would take to complete the job. To be honest, I was a bit surprised by the quote of $380 as I thought that it was a little high based upon the other reviews I had read on the Angieslist website. At any rate, we needed the work done and I felt comfortable with Barbara and trusted that she would make sure our needs were met based upon our discussions. Barbara herself and her team showed up promptly at our door the day we arranged service. The girls got to work immediately and did not stop until about seven hours later! My family left the house to have brunch and when we returned our house smelled clean and looked like it had a major makeover! All the fixtures were dustless, the floors were sparkling, the baseboards and corners did not have a speck of dust on them, carpet was vacuumed and a girl was still on her hands and knees mopping the foyer old school style ---which is how I am used to cleaning and I feel the most effective way to mop. Extra points! Barbara asked me to inspect the home prior to receiving payment. My kids and myself were so happy with the job Barbara and her team did. In the end, our experience was seemless. We we expressed exactly what our needs were, Barbara listened, gave us a quote, we accepted, she arrived with her team, cleaned exactly what she said she would and did a wonderful job. Thank you so much! Very pleased. At the end of the day, I did not mind paying the rate we did because of Barbara's professionalism and the great work her and her team did for us.

The stellar work was performed way above the service level that was expected! As far as the timeframe goes, it went over what I had expected the duration to be. I was busy working in my home office and realized that six hours later, the cleaning woman was still dilligently working. For a flat rate $100 project, I figured everything would be completed (although maybe a little rushed) in about 3-4 hours based on previous experience with other cleaning companies. But the amazing part is, even for that minimal price tag, I wasn't expecting to come out to see such a high level of service and the distinctive quality of the cleaning that was delivered. There were even walls/fixtures where a few tiny marks/stains have never been able to be scrubbed off since I moved in 12 years ago - yet the walls/fixtures looked brand new after this first cleaning! While I'm the type who's always "in a hurry," there is something to be said for attention to detail and completing work in the best way possible (even if it takes a little extra time). I have to admit after reading some of the (very few) recent bad reviews here, I was a bit guarded which may have lowered my expectations a little bit prior to engaging MCP. But after re-reading those negative comments today, it definitely seems like (most of) these disgruntled customers caused the problems/issues themselves. Seriously (to these disgruntled reviewers who purposely posted bad reviews to scare away new clients) - Why would you not buy the items on the list given to you? Why would you try and hurry someone who is trying to do an impeccable job for you? Why the heck would you put your lamp in a bathtub in the first place? Anyways, there's absolutely nothing negative that can be said about the price and quality, professionalism and value. Both Barbara and Viola were wonderful to communicate and work with. They were extremely professional and on top of every communication from the start! It only took two minutes to get a response from Barbara when we were emailing scheduling back and forth - and Viola easily understood cleaning instructions and went above and beyond in terms of quality. Major Cleaning Professionals deserves an A++ for this job!

Barbara came with the cleaning woman this morning and instructed her exactly what to do and then Barbara left. This is what we agreed on. The Woman zipped through the condo in a hurry, carelessly wiping things down. She finished in less than 5 hours and wanted a check written to her for $185. I told her that the dusting was no where near complete and showed her how the railings, door nobs, shelves, light fixtures, walls, and cabinets were still full of dust. She did not even touch the upstairs closets or the oven. I asked her to wipe things down and she became very defensive, rude, and obnoxious. I wrote her the check and she left. I then called Barbara who refused to rectify the situation saying that more cleanings were necessary. I paid $185 for almost nothing! My wife and I have been working all evening to clean before our movers arrive. Beware of Major Cleaning. I am happy to share photos of the condo after the cleaning if anyone is interested. The amount of dust left is incredible.

Every week for months now, the service is all I could want; consistently top quality, reliable, reasonably priced and the work is always carefully done. Far and beyond, best service I've ever had. I'm so happy that I've recommended to other families living in my building.
