We highly recommend Major Cleaning Professionals for both house and business cleaning needs. They have competitive rates and are more professional than any other company or an individual we have dealt with in the past. Barbara actually quoted us a higher price on cleaning our house before she saw it. Once she came to our house and saw that it was quite small she readjusted the price. She told me that she had to quote safely based on other houses they clean before seeing the place in person. That made perfect sense to us and we appreciated that she was true to her word and lowered the original estimate when she saw how small our bungalow is.

Maria does a great job cleaning my house. She arrives on time, is friendly and has a great attitude and is willing to do other small cleaning projects when asked. Overall, I am very pleased and would highly recommend this service.

Barbara came over to my house and gave me an estimate for the cleaning on very short notice and was able to schedule someone to come out and clean the very next day. Angela showed up on time, did a wonderful job and she was very nice. I plan to use this company on a monthly basis. The price is a bit more than what I was quoted from other companies, but the work was good. The only thing I did not like was that Barbara wanted me to buy specific products when I prefer to use all-natural products, but it really wasn't a big deal. Overall, I highly recommend this service.

I have a wooden floor (natural) and could not find the right product to return the wood to the natural color. Barbara, the owner, knew exactly what to do. The cleaning was done professionally and the floors as well as the rest of the house looks great every time.

I have been using them for a year and a half, and continue to be pleased with them. I like Barbara, the owner, and Isabella, the house cleaner. She cleans the house to my specifications.

Heard about this company from one of my friends. The specific housecleaner I wanted was all booked, but owner Barbara was able to schedule someone else w/in 3-5 days. Major Cleaning Professionals were early (in fact they beat me to the property)Barbara showed up with her employee and walked through. I pointed out areas of concern and Barbara translated to her employee. Estimated 6hr job, actually took about 6 1/2 since it was so dirty. Work performed was good. Would consider hiring for my own personal home.

Our first housecleaner through the service was wonderful but she was replaced by a second person after a few months. This cleaner was also good (although not as good as the first one). Our issue was not with the cleaning, but with the company. The second housekeeper forgot to latch several windows after cleaning them, causing one of them to fall out of the frame and crash to the floor. When I called Barbara, she told me that the expense to replace the window would come out of the housekeeper's pay. Since I hired a service, not an individual, I expected the company to pay for this, not have me make the decision to rob this woman of an entire day's pay. When I tried to discuss this with Barbara she was rigid and confrontational. To be honest, I can't hire a company that treats its employees this way.

She does a very good job, is very efficient and finishes faster than anyone we've ever hired before.

They do a good job. Barbara came and gave me an estimate, and then the next week she and an employee came and the employee cleaned the house. I've done the finger test in several places and it's always clean. I feel it's a bit expensive-would rather pay $60, but she does a good job, so I'll keep using her.

Okay, not thrilled. I specifically asked that special attention be paid to cleaning the walls & cabinets in my kitchen and I had to point out areas missed as well as areas missed on leather furniture. After the cleaning person left, I noticed that my dining room light was not dusted, and I don't know that my kitchen walls were actually cleaned as I asked. I also had to pressure Barbara to use the coupon from Angie's List. In their defense, overnight guests arrived earlier than expected (in the middle of the cleaning) but they went out to stay out of her way. I don't like to have to point out what I think are obvious oversights, so I don't plan to have them back.

Agnes did an excellent job. Our bathroom looked like it was brand new after she was done with it. We would definitely recommend Major Cleaning Professionals for anyone who needs a thorough cleaning of their house/apartment.

Anna was on time and diligently cleaned my house. She did an outstanding job and I would definitely use her again.

So far, so good. Good basic cleaning. If we want something done differently, we just leave a note. The same woman comes each time and is nice and prompt. We have some clutter issues and she does a good job working round them.

Very pleased with work. They are on time and detailed.

Barbara was great to work with and accommodated me the day after my call. She arrived early with the two women that were to clean and went through each room, discussing what needed extra attention. She suggested specific products to use and I felt really knew what she was talking about. The two women that did the cleaning were very nice and got right work. It took them about 5 hrs to clean the entire condo. My 10 month old son was due for his afternoon nap while they were here and is terrified of the vacuum. They were great about cleaning his room first and then only vacuuming after he was awake and I could take him somewhere else. I really appreciated their flexibility and professionalism.

We are looking for a service to clean our home every other week. Barbara was very prompt in returning our call for a quote as well as scheduling an appointment. During the day for the scheduled cleaning, Barbara came with the woman who was to perform the work. They were actually a few minutes early. The work took about 4 1/2 hours to complete. Perhaps I am particularly picky but I felt the work was just alright. She started in the kitchen and was cleaning our utensils on the counter which I thought was odd. I needed to leave for a couple hours and when I came back she was almost done. I did not inspect until after she left and found that the floors were done well but the downstairs half bath looked barely touched (the toilet bowl was not cleaned, nothing was moved to dust in our bedroom, and none of the blinds were wiped down (which was specifically mentioned by Barbara during the quote). Overall the job was mediocre, and I was expecting better.

Barbara is very professional. I handed her a list of instructions of what I wanted done. She assigned a person to do it, she was prompt, clean, courteous, friendly and really good at cleaning my house. I have decided to take the service on a regular basis. I am very satisfied. As an added bonus I used the coupon from Angie's list to get $10 off the first cleaning!

Barb came herself to give me an estimate, and has responded quickly and professionally to every call or email. Her people are excellent, and I look forward to continuing to use Barb's services for years to come. You won't go wrong with Major Cleaning Professionals!

Outstanding! I have had cleaning services in the past but the detail and care that was taken during the initial cleaning far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend.

SHE IS VERY DETAILED, INCLUDING CLEANING THE CEILING FANS. SHE FOLLOWS ALL OF OUR PREFERENCES AND DOUBLE CHECKS HER WORK. I AM PARTICULAR ABOUT HOW CLEAN OUR HOME IS, AND THIS PERSON MET AND EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS. SHE TAKES HER TIME WHILE SHE CLEANS THE WOOD FLOORS, VACUUMS THE CARPETED STAIRS AND BEDROOMS, LEAVES THE BATHROOMS IMMACULATE UPON COMPLETION, CHANGES BEDDING, DUSTS (OK, I CONFESS THAT 2 TIMES I RAN MY FINGER ACROSS BOOKSHELVES AND WAS VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED THAT THERE WAS NOT ANY DUST AT ALL), AND LEAVES A KITCHEN SPOTLESS (NOT EASY WITH A TODDLER AND A DOG). NO DOG HAIR IS ON THE FLOORS ONCE SHE FINISHES. BOTTOM LINE IS I RECOMMEND THIS CLEANING SERVICE. VERY PERSONABLE PEOPLE AND TRUSTWORTHY-WE ARE NOT ALWAYS HOME AND ALL IS OK. SHE IS GREAT TO OUR TODDLER & DOG. THEY LOVE HER!

WE HAVE BEEN USING BARB AND HER COMPANY FOR SEVERAL YEARS. SHE IS VERY FLEXIBLE IN SCHEDULING. WE USUALLY HAVE THE MAID COME EVERY 2 WEEKS, BUT WHEN WE ARE OUT OF TOWN, WE SCHEDULE FOR ANOTHER DAY. NORMALLY WE WOULD GET THE SAME MAID TO GET CONSISTENCY, BUT THEY WILL SUBSTITUTE AFTER LETTING US KNOW IF THE MAID IS OUT OR SICK.
