ALL WORK WAS DONE WELL. WAS A LITTLE SURPRISED TO FIND I NEEDED TO PICK UP ANY PARTS THAT WERE NEEDED - I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED THAT TO BE THE COMPANY'S RESPONSIBILITY (THOUGH IT WAS PROBABLY CHEAPER FOR ME TO DO IT). DIDN'T CLEAN UP AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED.

SINCE THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN WAS HAVING CAR TROUBLES, HE CALLED TO SAY THAT HE WOULD BE ARRIVING AN HOUR LATER THAN PLANNED. THAT WAS WELL APPRECIATED. AS FAR AS JOHN'S WORK ETHIC, HE ALWAYS MAINTAINED PROFESSIONALISM, AND WAS VERY PATIENT AND INFORMATIVE. MY EXPERIENCE WAS VERY GOOD, AND I WOULD GLADLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE IN NEED OF ELECTRICAL SERVICE.

VICTOR WAS FAIRLY ON TIME, RAN INTO BAD DOWNTOWN TRAFFIC. HAD NO CELL PHONE TO CALL ME AS HE HAD RECENTLY STARTED AT THE COMPANY. HE WAS CONFIDENT ABOUT THE WORK I NEEDED DONE. ONCE I AGREED TO GO FORWARD, THE JOB WAS DONE IN APPROX. 3 HOURS. EXTREMELY NEAT, VERY QUIET, JUST WENT TO WORK AND VOILA!
Description of Work: INSTALLING 10 PUCK LIGHTS UNDER KITCHEN CABINETS. CABINETS WERE ALREADY WIRED FROM PREVIOUS FLUORESCENT LIGHTS. HOLES HAD TO BE CUT INTO BOTTOM OF EACH CABINET, WIRES DIRECTED SO AS NOT TO INTERFERE WITH STORAGE NEEDS OF THE CABINETS.

WHEN I CALLED TO MAKE THE APPOINTMENT THE WOMAN WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. I WAS ABLE TO GET AN APPOINTMENT EARLY IN THE MORNING ON THE DAY I REQUESTED. THE TWO SERVICE MEN WERE SCHEDULED TO BE HERE AT 7AM AND ARRIVED ABOUT 7:15AM. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT TOOK SO LONG TO COMPLETE THE WORK. ONE OF THE WORKERS WORKED ON THE SCONCES AND WAS DONE IN ABOUT 45 MINUTES. DURING THIS TIME THE OTHER SERVICE MAN WAS WORKING ON THE CEILING FAN. THEN BOTH WORKED TOGETHER TO COMPLETED THE FAN. IN TOTAL IT TOOK TWO MEN TWO HOURS (A TOTAL OF FOUR MAN HOURS) TO DO THE WORK. THAT MEANS IT TOOK THEM OVER THREE MAN HOURS TO INSTALL THE CEILING FAN AND PUT IN THE WALL SWITCH. I FELT THIS WAS TOO LONG FOR THE JOB BECAUSE THEY DID NOT NEED TO RUN ANY WIRES. I FELT THE COST OF $397 WAS UNREASONABLY HIGH. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT WAS $52 JUST FOR THE WALL SWITCH. THEY DID OFFER TO SWEEP THE FLOOR. THEY LEFT MAY DIRTY FINGER PRINTS ON THE WALL AND CEILING.
Description of Work: I HAD ONE CEILING FAN INSTALLED WHICH REQUIRED A WALL SWITCH AND SCONCES SERVICED WHICH INCLUDED INSTALLING A WALL SWITCH.

AFTER READING THIS CUSTOMER''S COMMENTS, WE QUESTIONED OUR ELECTRICIANS TO SEE WHAT TYPE OF SWITCH THEY HAD INSTALLED. WE WERE TOLD BY THEM THAT IT WAS A FAN/LIGHT 2-POLE SWITCH ONLY, NOT A COMBINATION DIMMER FAN/LIGHT SWITCH, AS WE HAD THOUGHT AND QUOTED. REALIZING THE ERROR, WE HAVE SENT THE CUSTOMER A $32.00 REFUND. THE LABOR CHARGES WERE FAIR AND REASONABLE BASED ON THE 5 MAN HOURS (2.5 HOURS EACH MAN)IT TOOK TO COMPLETE THE JOB. OUR GUYS DO NOT RUSH THE JOB TO INSURE IT GETS DONE PROPERLY. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE FINGERPRINTS AND WILL CONTINUE TO STRIVE TO SATISFY EACH AND EVERY CUSTOMER.

TECHNICIANS WHO CAME OUT TO GAVE US THE QUOTE WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COURTEOUS. ONCE WE RECEIVED THE QUOTE AND SELECTED THEIR SERVICES, WE REQUESTED THAT THE SAME 2 GUYS PERFORM THE WORK. THE WORK DONE WAS VERY GOOD AND THE PRICE REASONABLE. THE WORKER WAS PUNCTUAL. THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS WHEN WE DECIDED TO GET 200 INSTEAD OF 100 AMP SERVICE THE DAY BEFORE. I FIRST SIGNED QUOTE AND DIDN'T REALIZE IT SAID 100 AMPS INSTEAD OF 200. WE HAD INITIAL QUOTES THE WEEK BEFORE FROM ESG FOR BOTH FOR $1400(100 AMPS) AND $1600(200 AMPS). I CALLED AND ASKED FOR A FAX OF THE 200 AMP OPTION. WHEN I RECEIVED THE FAX IT SAID $1800 DUE TO A PRICE INCREASE OF COPPER.

THE ESTIMATOR (HESKIN) WAS TIMELY AND VERY PERSONABLE. THERE WAS NO PROBLEM REDUCING THE BILL WHEN WE FOUND (ON THE DAY OF THE JOB) LESS WORK WAS NEEDED TO BE DONE. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF MR. GREAT SERVICE. TWO ELECTRICIANS CAME OUT ON TIME. THEY SURVEYED MY HOUSE AND COMPLETED THE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY WERE POLITE THROUGHOUT AND CLEANED UP WHEN THEY WERE DONE. They made a hole across the entire wall instead of going down to the basement. The technician left to get some supplies and he left his helper at my house for about 3 hours. This was very uncomfortable for me. I asked the helper to leave and when the technician came back I asked him to leave as well. I talked to the office and the owner followed up the next day. He arrived late. He told me that the technician told him that our basement was finished and that was the reason they did not run the line as instructed. I had to pay someone else to fix the drywall and finish the electrical work. They also put a scratch in my hardwood floor in the process.
Description of Work: They were to add sconces to our dining room on either side of a china cabinet. They were supposed to run the lines down through our unfinished basement.

I SET UP APPOINTMENT FOR FRIDAY AT 9:00 A.M.(TOOK TIME OFF FROM WORK SINCE ESG DOES NOT WORK ON WEEKENDS). THE ESTIMATOR NEVER SHOWED OR CALLED. I AM OVERALL VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM ESG TODAY. THE ONLY SLIGHT DISAPPOINTMENT WAS THAT THEY HAD TO CANCEL THE INITIAL DIAGNOSTIC APPOINTMENT (FYI, $39 FEE FOR THIS WHICH THEY CREDIT TO ANY WORK YOU AGREE TO HAVE DONE) AND DIDN'T NOTIFY ME UNTIL THE TIME THE APPT WAS DUE TO START. THAT BEING SAID, THEY APOLOGIZED, WE RESCHEDULED AND FROM THERE ON, EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. THE ELECTRICIAN (JAVIER) ARRIVED EXACTLY ON TIME AND WAS PROFESSIONAL, POLITE AND FRIENDLY. HE WORKED EFFICIENTLY AND PROVIDED GOOD ADVICE FOR FUTURE PURCHASES OF LIGHTING FIXTURES. THE PRICE IS A BIT HIGH, BUT THE QUALITY OF SERVICE IS ALSO HIGH. THE OFFICE STAFF ARE COURTEOUS ON THE PHONE. LIAM, WHO DID THE DIAGNOSTIC APPT, WAS HELPFUL AND PLEASANT. AND AGAIN, JAVIER JUST DID A WONDERFUL JOB! I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ESG FOR ELECTRICAL WORK.

VERY RESPONSIVE AND ON-TIME. AFTER THE ELECTRICIAN ARRIVED AND WE WALKED HIM THROUGH THE JOB, HE GAVE US A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT OPTIONS AS TO HOW TO BEST APPROACH OUR NEEDS/WANTS, AND WAS VERY SPECIFIC AS TO PRICE CHANGES. JOB 1: ON TIME. A LITTLE EXPENSIVE. THEY DID VERY GOOD WORK AND I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. THEY STAYED EXACTLY TO THE QUOTE. JOB 2: MARIA, AT THE OFFICE, WAS VERY POLITE AND QUOTED ME A TIME, WHICH WAS KEPT. LUIS, THE ELECTRICIAN, WAS VERY POLITE AND COURTEOUS. HE KEPT ME INFORMED OF THE REASON I WAS HAVING THE PROBLEM AND WHAT HE COULD DO TO CORRECT IT. HE WAS EXTREMELY NEAT AND CLEANED UP AFTER HIS WORK. HE IS A VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ELECTRICIAN.
