Of nine projects, seven were done well. The original estimate had left out one of the projects that their estimator, Bill, and I agreed should be in the package of services. Bill recognized his mistake on this and was willing to include the project for labor cost only. My wife was supervising when I received a call at my workplace telling me that the lamp in the entranceway would cost more to be wired because of difficulty in doing the task and they recommended that the job could be completed with a pull-chain fixture. I gave a go ahead to the higher price, rather than lose the possibility of being able to install a better fixture in the entranceway in the future. I'm disappointed by this extra charge because Bill and I had agreed that this was part of the job. Several holes in the wallboard had to be cut to allow the workmen to pull the conduit through the wall. I wasn't present, but I think that there may have been more holes cut than needed because one open stretch had three holes rather than the expected two that should have been there, with some good fishtape work. One duplex outlet was a bad job. I had asked Bill to install it next to a heat register in an interior wall. The workmen installed it in the same vicinity on an exterior wall. Their work to do the job their way resulted in my wall now having numerous broken latch boards. The duplex outlet installed seemed kind of uneven when I first viewed it. I turned off the circuit breaker and removed the outlet to see that it had been installed in a box that was held up by unevenness in the cement of my brick wall. One screw holding the box had been left in place stripped. I called Bill about this, and within a few hours, he dispatched Majcek (forgive the spelling) who removed the box, chiseled out some cement behind the box mounting area, and re-installed the box correctly. Majcek was the only workman I saw, but he was courteous, professional, and fast-working. I received some telephone support from Bill about how to replace wallboard around the mudbox that they had installed. The project is nearing completion. It was done cleanly and courteously throughout. Follow up: September 9, 2008: I did receive the refund, the company indicated, for the amount they specified in their response. I have faith that this company deals honestly with its customers.

They were friendly and they showed up on time. I felt the price was reasonable. The job was done in a timely manner. They seemed very knowledgeable about what they were doing.

I really appreciated how the electrician explained the problem in great detail so that I could explain it to Commed. I was really impressed, and learned something along the way.

They did everything they were supposed to do, I just thought they were on the expensive side. They did try to pressure us into redoing the entire home. Other than that they were very nice and timely and they did a fine job and I no longer worry about the wiring.

George arrived at the scheduled time and immediately put on his protective shoe covers. He checked out the ceiling fan and determined that the remote control device was faulty and was preventing me from operating the fan with the remote control and/or the wall switch. He removed the remote control device and set it up so that the fan and light can now be controlled from the wall switch. I will have him come back when I purchase a new remote control. George was polite, professional, and thoroughly explained the problem to me.

The electricians arrived promptly at 7 A.M. They installed the lights and replaced the outlets. They were very professional and got the job done by 5 P.M.

ELECTRICAL SERVICES GROUP did a really great job, they were excellent, they were high quality and customer service oriented, I would definitely use them again.

I was happy with there service. I was happy with the outcome. I can use my garage door now. I had a call back and he wanted to know if I was satisfied and I told him I was more than happy. I like when companies call you back to check up on their services.

They are very reliable, knowledgeable and do there work very quickly, but correctly. They are very courteous and polite when they are in my home.

The gentleman showed up on time, very clean cut, very professional, and very pleasant. He got right to work, even politely refused coffee so as not to cost us more time, and got the two fans installed and working. All seemed to go very well. The next day, the second fan starting making noise, so I investigated, ended up taking it apart, and found three problems: 1) one of the main screws holding the bracket to the ceiling was loose, 2) some of the wiring was not tucked in the bracket and was scraping on the rotating housing, and 3) two mounting screws had not been installed and were still in the packing. I called back and spoke with a representative, who spoke with the owner, and they provided me a partial refund. Despite the problems, the people were pleasant and understanding and responsive, and all while they were moving offices. I would definitely consider using them again despite the problems, as they took the overall job and its quality seriously. No excuses were ever given, and no one every became defensive.

I called on a Saturday to report that I'd lost all power in my living room. I also had 3 other, relatively minor problems with electrical fixtures in other rooms that I wanted repaired. The lady answering the phone was quite friendly, and asked if I could wait until Monday since it would cost more on the weekend. I said fine. George came at the appointed time, and got right to work. It took a while for him to trace the source of the living room outage, and he finally found it in a ceiling fixture two rooms over! George was courteous, efficient, and respectful of our home and our privacy at all times. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I originally called them to fix a problem with recessed lighting in the family room. But, it turned out that we had not checked a separate switch that had been turned off, so there really was no problem. I had also wanted to have them replace the bulbs in outdoor fixtures that are 14 ft from the ground and very difficult for us to replace. The electrician also replaced other bulbs outdoors while he was here, since the first hour of the call is the most expensive. The first hour makes using this company too expensive just to replace bulbs in the future, but they did respond well when I thought I had a more serious problem. I will use them when I need true electrical work in the future.

Everything worked smoothly. Even though the job took a few days, the power was restored every evening to all the apartments. Everything was cleaned up and neat. I used the company again a few weeks later to run extra circuits to one apartment for air conditioners.

Great! Everything went smoothly and met all expectations. Technician was very friendly and neat.

After blowing a fuse and not being able to switch it back on, I called Electrical Services. I called at 1:45pm and was told by a very pleasant woman, that since no one would be available until after regular hors. I would have to pay the overtime rate of $185 + $65 each additional 30 minutes. I ok'd and by 4pm Maciej was here looking for the cause of my electrical problem. He found a short in a flexible conduit (located in my attic) which supplied power to 1 of my can lights over my back door. After discussing w/ Maciej, I decided to just have that light disconnected. After doing this, the remaining lights then worked and I was happy with the results. Maciej worked continually, answered my questions, and was very kind.

The 2 man crew was punctual, efficient and professional. Their price (time + materials) came in right around their estimate, although higher than some of the other estimates that we got. They used caution while installing the tv outlet and ending up not having to cut any holes in the drywall. The exterior lights look great. They painted the junction boxes to match the building. We are very pleased with their work and will use them again.

The service provider called to say he was running early and could he arrive before the appointment time. He assessed each of the jobs, gave me an estimate and performed all of the work within an hour. The pricing policy had been reviewed by phone with me ahead of time and there were no surprises. He wore shoe protectors and took care to leave my home in a better state than when he arrived.

I was very impressed on how quickly they came out. They were out to my home within an hour and a half (other companies I called would not even return my calls!). They were very clean and even wore booties when coming in and out of my home. Their prices were reasonable. I was very happy with the service I received!

The inspector was not the friendliest guy in the world, but they were respectful and did a thorough job.

I called and discussed the procedure, since I had purchased the fixture myself. They were very helpful. Everything worked like clockwork.

We have an older house and wanted to make sure that electrical work was done right. Eugene has done work on our house before. He is excellent. He arrived on time as usual. He quickly assessed the situation and figured out we needed a special electrical box. After he got the box, he asked if we wanted a separate switch for the fan. We were afraid that it would take too long to pull a new wire but he was done in 5 minutes. It was incredible. All work was completed in under an hour. The thing that I like about Eugene is that he not only does what we ask him but consults with us on how best to do. His suggestions have saved us time, money and unnecessary holes in the walls.

They were very prompt and up font about pricing and scheduling. With such a small job, I've had trouble in the past getting responses from some companies on odd jobs such as this but they were right on time, worked quickly and were very professional. Now we have light in the back yard when we want it and where we want it.

Over all it went great and I would use them again and they were on time to the service. They were professional and I will recommend them to others.

We had put off calling electrician for "little" jobs until they accumulated and we had enough to make a sizable job. ESG sent out technician who walked through and gave a thorough review. He provided a written estimate on each separate project indicating that items that he could price out right away as well as indicating the items that he could not give definitive price. After obtaining other estimates, we opted to go with ESG. They arrived at 7 am (to accommodate our work schedules) with a 2 man crew and proceeded to complete the entire list of items in roughly 4 hours. The crew was professional, often explaining the different steps they were taking to ensure that we were satisfied. They cleaned up after themselves. Thereafter, we received a phone call from the office to ask about the service and if we had any issue. The only issue that we had was we did not receive our Angie's List discount. After we brought that to their attention, they took care of it.
