Ryan Jaacks gave me a very competitive and spot on estimate for tear out and replacement of my fence and decks. He also took care of all permits and J.U.L.I.E. calls. His crew was very professional, showing up on time even with all the rain during the course of the job, and were very meticulous about cleaning up each night after leaving the jobsite. (Actually, I am sure they left it cleaner than when they arrived!). I am very impressed with the craftmanship of the fence and deck as well as the good suggestions the crew gave me during the course of construction. I would not hesitiate to recommend this company and would certainly use them again in the future.

Bob Jack's was great from start to finish. The estimate (and re-estimate b/c our neighbor wanted to get a gate at the same time in the same design) was easy and smooth. They answered all of our questions made us feel comfortable. The actual build out process went smoothly. There was concrete drilling for the driveway post and of course post hole digging. They built the fence on spec, everything was finished well and neatly. Very professional installation and customer service.

They were very prompt. I really couldn't believe how fast they did the job. I was very pleased with their services.

The original quote was 5000.00 but we were able to negotiate. The staff was professional, courteous and friendly. They crew that was sent out did a very nice job. They didn't want to clean up the debris from landscaping that had to be trimmed back but did after a call to the office, they took all the brush away. Very happy with my new fence!

They were on time and very informative. They have a great, high quality product. It was a little more expensive that we had anticipated, though, so we decided to hold off for now, but we would consider them in the future.

Overall, everything was good. The price for what we got was good. There were certain elements that were very good. The sales person that I dealt with was very sexist and that was very frustrating. He kept saying things like, "did you check with your husband," "what did your husband say," "what does your husband think about this," "did you measure this, did your husband measure this," "did you check this measurement with your husband;" a thousand questions like that. They overcharged me, and when I called them to ask that they check the invoice because I believed that I had been overcharged, I got a lot of attitude; which is fine if you don't ever make mistakes about billing, but they ended up calling me back and telling me I was right. Someone at the top of the company, an owner or manager, was the person that called me back and apologized to me and did credit the money back, but it was a mistake that I had to catch instead of them catching it. However, all of that was good. Overall, they know their business. Everything that they do is custom made, and you don't get that at the big box stores. Their product and overall knowledge is an "A," but since I had to deal with the sales person that I did, I gave them a "B." They delivered when they said that they were going to deliver. I have used them since this experience for a few miscellaneous pieces.

The entire project went great. They came out for the estimate when they said they would (something we have had great difficulty with in our area!) and they were able to schedule the work quickly. The crew showed up on time - they did the project according to the estimate and even helped repair a couple of additional boards on the back section of the fence (we went to a home improvement store to buy the materials & they helped with the repair). They clearly knew what they were doing. They were done on time and cleaned up everything. Their prices were on par with other estimates we received. We would definitely work with them again and recommend others consider this company for their fencing work.

The quote was competitive. A date for installation was set based on our schedule. Sergio and a helper arrived first thing in the morning and worked steadily until the job was done. They were reasonably careful around the garden. I inspected their work as they went and found that important aspects, like the depth of posts, complied with good practices. The old fence and posts, including concrete footings, were removed. The completed fence looks great.

Understandably, we had to wait three to four weeks before crew would come out (tons of storm damage in the area, myself included). They took down all the fencing that was still up, and removed all the old stuff. Set new Postmaster posts and hung up the fence in less than a day. Efficient, quick, and did not leave a mess for me to clean up! We are satisfied with the service provided!

They worked quickly and were polite, but the end result is that I am not happy with the overall quality of the fence. The fence was blowing and waving in the wind. It need reinforcements and was falling flat in areas after several years and I had to have another fence company do an extensive $2000 repair. The company that did the repair was Northwest Cedar Products.

Rustic answered the phone and set up time for an estimate in a professional manner. Employee showed up as promised. Based on estimates from other companies, Rustic's price came out a few hundred dollars higher than others. Specifically, the amount they would charge for fence removal compared to how much I'd save if I took down the old fence myself, and how much for the labor to install the new fence, the materials, and extra for hauling away debris, dirt, etc. Was more than a more "faithful" company that I found here on Angie's list. Additionally, the time in which they could do the fence was weeks away compared to other companies.

We actually met with this company twice because they were so pleasant to work with and we had to change the type of fence we were looking at (from the first estimate to the second). The quality of the wood they use and the positive statements in Angie's List were a big draw. I really liked talking with them. The only reason we ultimately didn't choose them was because their estimate was roughly 400-450$ higher than another company and we were on a tight budget. If we decide in the future to get a fence for a backyard or look into another service that they offer, I will definitely contact them again.

We called Rustic Wood and they were very prompt in returning our call. They called us back the same day. After conversing with them and explaining our needs, they said they were sorry, but they could not meet our needs (We had mistakenly thought that a vinyl fence listed on their services meant they installed vinyl coated chain link when they do not). A couple of hours later, another company called us back. They said Rustic Fence had contacted them about our needs and they could assist us if we were interested. I was very pleased that although they could not help us, Rustic took the extra step to find someone who could meet our needs.

I was very pleased with the experience with Rustic Wood Fence. Initially their price was the highest out of the three estimates I got; however, they did come down from the initial bid. The company is very responsive, the salesman Jerry is very personable and an all around nice guy, and the two workers were professional and on time.

It went well. Estimator arrived on time, was professional and efficient. On scheduled day, workers (2) arrived on time, were professional and worked hard. They completed job in one day and left the yard in immaculate condition. The only way you could tell that they were there was the new fence. The fence looks great. My only gripe would be the price. It was expensive, but I did check around and these guys were competitive. At the end of the day, I may have been able to get it done cheaper, but the end product was worth it.

Came to do the work as agreed, timely and professional. Only problem was they installed the fence with posts facing the wrong direction. They were willing to fix the problem but we decided to keep and not deal with hassle. Overall a good experience.

We had used Rustic Fence before for emergency repairs in January. We called Rustic Fence on Saturday. They immediately provided us with a quote and scheduled the work for the following Monday. They arrived within 1/2 hour of stated arrival time (9:00 am) on Monday. One gentleman did all the work. He confirmed the work to be done and worked diligently until it was complete around 4:30 pm. The fence looked like new and the area was cleaned up adequately. We would use them again for similar work!

Our representative, Jerry, was very easy to work with and came out twice to fine tune the design of the aluminum fence. Sergio and his assistant were very professional and hardworking, they were trying to finish the job before an expected rainstorm but did not sacrifice quality for speed. The aluminum fencing had a funny zig zag design to it and Sergio worked with me to make sure the fence looked straight from several different perspectives. The end cost for the aluminum fence was more than the very first estimate at the showroom due to the zig zag design requiring more posts and panels and the gates ended up needing to be 4' wide instead of 3'. Overall, I didn't really save over a custom wrought iron fence like I thought I would but the aluminum won't require the maintenance time and cost that wrought iron would.

I spoke to Lee on the phone and since I had measurements, he was able to call back within a few minutes with a quote. He seemed well informed about permit requirements for the village we live in. The quote was slightly higher than another bid we received, but within range. We have since decided to put off the work so we have not hired anyone at this time. I would feel comfortable hiring them if we decide to do the work in the future.

Very professional from start to finish. I called on Thursday, spoke to a very nice representative on the phone. Described my problem (wobbly/ rotten fence post), and said I needed at least 1 replaced. Was told somebody would be here within 7 days to replace, and would bring a couple of spare posts just in case others needed replacing. Was told price for the job (cost to replace first post, cost for all others after that). Workers showed up on Friday - they were working on another job in the area and came over to take care of my post(s). Turned out 3 posts needed to be replaced. They did a very professional job, answered all of my questions, and took away all of the old rotten posts. Work was done quickly and both workers were very professional. One of the workers even took time to check my wood gate, and added a few nails to keep the gate in good repair. This was not part of the job spec, and was nice of him to do a little extra while he was in between his truck and my yard. Question about price at the end of the job (invoice was higher than price quoted to me on the phone) was quickly resolved by the workers making a call to the woman I spoke to on Thursday - she confirmed the price she quoted me and that's what I paid. Overall, a very good experience. I plan to have Rustic Wood Fence over in the spring to give me a quote to replace the entire fence. In the meantime, I know my fence will withstand the winter weather.

They did a beautiful job, and they did it all in one day. Their pricing was very competitive--they were actually my middle bid, but the cost and the timing was worth going with them. They did a great job of cleaning up, and the quality of the workmanship is very good. It has been 8 months now, and the fence has withstood two more episodes of bad weather. I would highly recommend them, and hope that others will do so as well. The work was top-notch, and if I ever need any more work done, I will certainly call them.

Good response to initial call for estimate. Prompt, professional visit to establish estimate with clear description of work and price, including options we requested. On day of work, the team was prompt and professional in accomplishing their work. The installation and workmanship was high quality and they did a good job cleaning up and removing all of the old fence.

Jerry arrived early to discuss the fencing. As soon as I started to tell him what was needed, he immediately indicated they couldn't help. He said they don't do anything with wire and had no wire. They could use chain link, but not welded wire. I explained that chain link fencing was not secure enough to keep predators like raccoons from reaching through the fence to grab the hens and that it was essential the right type of fencing be used. After further probing by me, Jerry indicated that they could possibly install fence posts, but that I would have to purchase the wire fencing separately and hire someone else to install the wire fencing. I can understand that he didn't want to waste his time, but I was quite surprised that he was so quick to dismiss the job. He didn't seem interested in having anything to do with it at all.

They did a great job and I am very satisfied with my fence. They did professional work and I would use them again.
