Russ and his guys always do good work. This is the third time I used them and they have been great every time. They are always on time and give a fair price. Most of all they are professional and do the work right the first time.

One of the springs on the garage door mechanism broke. I called R and S Inc. on 07/12/11 at approximately 3:00 PM and left a message. Within 5 minutes, Russ called me back. I explained the problem and he asked me when I'd like him to come out for the repair. I told him it wasn't an emergency since my car was already out of the garage. Russ stated that a repair man would be out between 7 to 9 am on 07/13/11. At approximately 9:00 AM, Russ contacted me to state that the repair man was stuck on a more lengthy repair job before mine and would be late. Russ kept me up to date with one more call, and then Scott arrived at 11:15 AM to repair the door. Scott stated that I definitely needed a new spring and recommended the other spring be replaced since it was worn and near the breakage point. He also advised that the cables were very frayed and would eventually break in the near future. He recommended that the cables be replaced, so another service call would not have to be made in the future. Scott was professional, passionate, and highly skilled. The garage door works great and there is a 2 year warranty for the above mentioned service and repair. I thought the cost was a little high, but considering the quick response, the quality of the service, and other economical costs, it was worth it.

I spent between $100 and $200 on that service. They were excellent and they came right out and fixed it. They were fast.

I scheduled an appointment for a Saturday, since that is the only day that I am regularly at home during business hours. The appointment was scheduled on the Thursday before for between 9:00 and 11:00 am on Saturday. The service representative arrive a few minutes late at approximately 11:15. After quickly diagnosing the problem, he spent about 10 minutes trying to fix the existing eyes, but could not get them to work He then replaced the eyes in about 10 more minutes and installed a new outdoor keypad at my request. In all, the service call lasted less than a half hour and was repaired to my satisfaction.

Called on a Saturday morning for appointment, someone came out that same day, had part with him and repaired door immediately. Both springs repaired for fair price, the guy also fixed something that was loose for free. Very professional and friendly. Will use again!

R&S quoted the best price by far, and Russ was the most knowledgable and clear (of three firms contacted). Scott, who did the job, was on time and cleaned up the site. The new door is much quieter, even though the opener is the same as before.

I called him at 1 pm, and since he was in the area, he stopped by at 3:30 pm. He checked to make sure that the lens was clean, then installed a new sensor. Very prompt and efficient. Turns out that he did work for several of my neighbors. They mentioned it when they saw his truck. Nice to know others in the area have used him. Angies also rated him highly, that's why I called him.

They were extremely quick. They came right out when we called them. There was not much of waiting around for us. They were equally good the second time. They did the job pretty fast and were reasonably priced. I was happy with them and I would use them again.

Totally happy with R&S. R&S happily came out an hour later and completely replaced the rail so I could close my garage door again. I also previously used them to replace my old garage doors and install new ones. They have been absolutely fantastic.

I had springs replaced on 2 different garage doors. I got their name from Angie's list. I called at 7:30 or so in the morning. The guy gave me the price over the phone. He said he would come that day at 9. He did. He replaced the spring on door #1. We discussed useful life of door springs. Unfortunately while I knew that door #2 had also had its spring replaced at some point while in the 15 years I've owned the house, I didn't remember when. Maybe if I had known, I would have taken advantage of the lower incremental cost to get 2 springs replaced at one visit. As it was, the 2nd door's spring broke about 6 weeks later. Same story. I called R&S around 7:30, they came at 9 and replaced the 2nd door's spring. Bottom line: R&S did exactly what they said they would, at quoted price, very quickly.

They were timely and accurate in terms of their estimate and the work that was completed. I wasn?t home to supervise the work but we were satisfied.

Our automatic garage door would not close. When R&S was called, they sent someone within about an hour. The tech who came was very courteous and meticulous in troubleshooting and identifying the problem - it turned out that one of our sensors was malfunctioning. He immediately replaced the sensor once he determined the problem, and our doors have worked perfectly every since. In terms of the prompt response, the troubleshooting, and the service performed, we felt the charge was very reasonable and we are very happy with R&S.

They were prompt and came out within hours. The work was done very well and they were reasonably priced too. We had a bit of a language issue with them, though.

Steve arrived right on time and promptly began work. He was done in about 30 minutes. He replaced the pair of cables, realigned the rails, and reseated the rollers. The garage door never worked better. I asked a couple of questions and Steve answered them in a courteous manner. A very pleasant and professional experience overall.

They did a great job, we were very pleased with their work. When they came back out for the adjustment they were able to come within an hour. We've already recommended them to three of our friends. We would absolutely use them again.

I called the company, Russ answered and said he could come out later that afternoon but then called back and asked if I'd be home earlier. I was very grateful being that I needed to have it done ASAP. He showed up right when he said he would, took a look and knew right off what my problem was. He explained the life expectancy of springs and how they become weakened over years of use. He gave me the option of replacing one or both and I decided on both. He completed the job in less than an hour, was quiet, clean, professional, and friendly. I will definitely call him again if we ever need work on the garage in the future.

On New Year's day our automatic garage door opener unit stopped working. After looking through Angie's List I decided to try R&S Garage Doors because of their high ratings. They arrived at my house about 30 minutes after I called and spent a couple of hours diagnosing and trying to fix the problem. It turned out to be only a little more expensive to get a really nice opener than to fix our old one. Plus, all but one of the remotes had died over the years. They estimated around $400.00 for the new unit and all labor and parts, including the time they spent on the old opener unit. An installer from R&S showed up on Saturday the 3rd of January at around 9 a.m. He spent about 4 hours installing the new unit, some peripheral controls, and adjusting the door track and counter-weight spring. We ended up with a much better unit that works smoothly and quietly. We paid exactly what the original estimate had stated. These folks are great!

R & S was great. We called them and they came out the next day. The gentleman who came out was super nice and professional. He explained everything to me, including what was wrong, and how much it would cost. He fixed it right there on the spot as well as replacing the garage door opener on the wall. It was very reasonably priced. I was very pleased with his service.

Good except, that the 1 wire that is connect to the new opener and went to the new button on the wall by my landryroom door was not replaced. I was told later that that is not always replace.

I called on a late Friday afternoon, after hours, and instantly reached R&S. The owner was over in about 20 minutes. We got the door up and the car out. The spring had to be ordered. It was put on ASAP. The door runs smoother than ever. I wish the guys did much more than garage doors!!!

They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. They were good.
