Russ arrived early, which was OK, and performed the work efficiently and professionally. He checked everything to make sure the door lift performed correctly. He submitted his bill with the Angie's List Member Coupon correctly applied. Found out he lives in our subdivision, less than 1/4 mile away, so we were gratified to give our business to a neighbor. He is now our garage door go-to service provider.. We would recommend R & S.

Excellent experience. First, I called on a Sunday, assuming I would get voicemail, but instead Russ answered right away. I booked an appointment for Monday between 10-12. He was a little early, but I'll take that over late. The chain had popped off of my opener, and it was pretty old (over 20 years), so I was expecting that I would be persuaded to install a new opener. But he inspected it, fixed it, and was on his way on about an hour. $99 is a lot better than $400, don't you think?

Extremely well. The garage door was replaced with a similar model. The work was completed with high quality, on time, and on budget. I was very pleased by the professionalism and timeliness.

Just to keep it simple. Easily scheduled appt. Had a two hour window compared to four hours from Nicor or ComEd. Scott arrived early in the time window. Got right to work and completed the replacement in about 90 minutes. Everything went great.

Scott was professional and very personalble. Not only was he able to quickly determine the issue but fix the problem in under 30 mins. My garage door has never sounded quieter or run smoother in the 6 years I've lived here. If and when I need to replace or have additonal repairs on my garage door my first call will be to R&S. This is the second time that I have used R & S Garage Door Inc within probably five years. They are prompt and give me excellent service. Their price is good. The gentleman was prompt when I called this morning to schedule the appointment. He told me someone would be out here between 10 and noon. The person arrived at 11. It took him about 45 minutes to fix it and it was great. It's good service and that's why I called them back.

Everything went well. They did a good job with installation, and I'm satisfied with the door opener.

R & S had installed our garage door a few years ago. They were professional and efficient. We just had a spring break, they came out in less than 1 hr and fixed it promptly.

Very professional, punctual, and precise. Both springs were replaced as well as some of the rollers. Under 30 minutes and he was done...great job!

Called them on a Saturday morning. They were here in an hour and fixed the door in less than a half hour. Works fine now. Very happy with their responsiveness and service. Would use them again.

The guy came within the time frame given. But had to buy some metal bracket to install the garage door opener because ours didnt have one. The old opener didnt need the bracket. He explained everything that he was doing as he was doing it. He was also polite and courteous and accomodating and answered all of our questions and gave us more information regarding care of the garage door opener. Also gave us instruction regarding use of the new opener.

The price quoted was $204 ($195 with the angie's coupon). Probably not the lowest bid ($20-50 more than others). But service was prompt (came out first thing in the morning) and finish the job in less than 1/2 hr. The guy (Russ) was friendly to deal with.

R&S did s great job. The spring broke on Monday night leaving the garage door inoperable. I called on Tuesday around 11:00am and they came out that day around 3:15pm in the afternoon. I wanted the door fixed on Tuesday if at all possible, but I had very limited availability, only from about 2:45-4:00pm. I was pleasantly surprised when they said they could accomodate my schedule. The technician who came out (Scott) was very knowledgeable and personable. He told me that springs usually only last about 7-8 years, which is about how old mine was. He also told me that I had a solid door and a good door opener. He shared information with me that made me more knowledgable about my garage door and his service. I highly recommend using R&S. In addition, I thought their price was extremely reasonable ($130).

Fixed problem in less that 30 mins. Also lubed rails and adjusted the door. Great service and personable/knowledgable tech. Only con is they showed up 20 minutes after the 2 hour window they gave me. I will definitely use these guys again.

Took him about 45 minutes. He replaced 6 rollers, and installed a new chain gear kit. the door is now quieter and works fine. Scott lubed the roller track and took time to explain everything to me, an tips on keeping it operating.

Called them and they came right over within the hour on 1/2 (a holiday). Took about 35 minutes to fix. He charged the normal rate for the 2-car garage door and no labor on the 1-car door since he was there anyway, then took off $15 for the Angies List coupon. Another company had quoted us over $300 for the same work, so this saved us $60-70. Moreover, the other company could not come until a week later and Scott came essentially immediately.

I was surprised that they called within a day of my e-mail. They called me on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 and said they would be out around noon. At noon the serviceman called and said he had to go to the warehouse and pick up the part and would be here in about an hour. Despite having a little problem finding my house, he showed up pretty much on time after calling me and getting the directions straight. (This happens quite frequently, so I don't hold that against them). Once he got here, it took him less than a half an hour and my doors were once again operating. He even put a light bulb in my garage door opener. He was quick, friendly and professional and I would definitely use them again.

He has a great attitude, did clean work, and does the extra things that make the experience really great.

I've used R&S twice. The first time a couple years ago, Russ arrived promptly within the time window, and fixed the garage door opener, which would no longer work. He quickly determined the problem and the pricing was reasonable. The 2nd time, I called Russ at 9am to make an appointment to fix the garage door, as the track was bent, the garage door opener eye no longer attached, and the door would not shut completely. He gave me a window of between 10-12pm the same day. He arrived at 10:15am and quickly realigned the garage door track, replaced the roller, and rewired and attached the garage door opener eye. Russ was finished after about 20 minutes and charged a service call. Russ has always been prompt, honest, and answers his calls right away or quickly returns calls. I will definitely use R&S again.

After my damaged garage door was vandalized, provider came and did temporary repair on the door and fixed my opener, allowing me to leave town the following day on vacation. Upon return from my trip, provider returned, and replaced both of my doors. I was extremely impressed and more than satisfied with the service and quality of the work. Would highly recommend this company!
