Opal replaced my old old windows. I was initially pleased with the price and guidance provided by the salesman compared to other competitors. The communication with Opal leading to the project excellent and very informative. The team arrived as scheduled and worked very professionally. I plan to work with them again on future projects.

It was such a good experience from start to finish, from the estimate to the install. Everyone knew their job and communicated about all the steps along the way. I went to the showroom to look at doors and they had a good selection of doors/glass and color options. Would definitely recommend Opal Enterprises. It was a pleasure to do business with such a great company. Thank you.

Had all of our fiber cement siding replaced due to 1) poor installation by builder and 2) shoddy materials used (Menard's product). From quote to installation, Opal was great. Justin did a great job during the quote process. Always responsive and prompt. Attempted to get multiple quotes from other suppliers and nearly all the either did not return calls or failed to show-up. The proposal we received was thorough and priced fairly. The install team started their work on the date communicated and finished the job within the time frame expected (even with several days of rain). Jack called or stopped by site to give updates as needed. Miro and team did a great installation. Huge difference in quality vs. what was originally installed on our house. Would recommend Opal to anyone looking to replace siding on their home.

I couldn't be happier with my new windows and storm/screen doors. Opal did such a nice job and in a surprisingly short time. The crew leader was very responsive to any concerns that I had during the project, and he made adjustments/corrections/repairs immediately. I am confident that the one or two minor things that still need to be addressed (they just finished), will be done to my satisfaction. The project manager checked in with me multiple times during the project and I felt comfortable reaching out to him for any additional concerns before, during and after the project was finished. From the first meeting with Justin for the planning and sale portion of the project, I felt respected and my needs and plans understood. We were able to come to agreement on details and terms for the project in a reasonable time. Highly recommend!

Very well. We went with this company because we liked the product they install. They are the only company in the area which installs Majestic, a Canadian window. This window looks far more detailed than other brands that we found. (It has details that make it look more like a wooden window.) We also liked the sales person. He worked hard to answer ALL of our questions (and some were tough). He ensured that we fitted the house with windows that met the needs of the different zones throughout the house (double glaze in shady areas, triple glaze in warmer, noisier areas). Opal acquired the work permit through the city and paid the fee (without adding it to their quote.) The order time was decent 4-6 weeks. The installers were punctual and friendly. They left a bit of a mess outside (shavings of the aluminum cladding material), but on the other hand they were also accommodating to our installation requests. Opal had all the screens re-ordered due to a few scratches on them (nothing I would have complained about!) And they sent out a Majestic representative to install them and answer any outstanding usage/maintenance questions. He was full of good tips and information. Then the Opal representative came by to do a final walk through. He took his time to answer more of our questions (without acting like we were asking too many -- we ask a lot of questions!) and provided us with the appropriate paperwork so that we will get the tax credit. We LOVE the look of the windows and are glad we had them installed.

VERY WELL!! This was our first BIG project on the house and we needed LOTS of communication on what was going on. The Opal crew was patient with us and our need to know EVERYTHING. The Opal crew provided us with samples until we were pleased; held up moulding unto the top of the house to demonstrate how it would look; provided professional advice on anything/everything. From the first communication with the Office, then to Sales, then the Owner and last, but not least, the actual working crew, we knew that we were in good hands. The gentlemen - and women - were courteous and professional and wanted nothing but to make sure that we were pleased with the job being done. ALTHOUGH NOT THE FAULT OF THE CONTRACTOR, the door that we ordered did come to us damaged and we are still working on getting that rectified with the manufacturer. We spoke with the "foreman" every day prior to starting and made sure that we were on the right page which made for a smoother day for all of us. We felt very confident that the job being done was quality and that this was truly their expertise. We have NO doubts in our minds that Opal was the best choice. We look forward to future home remodeling projects with Opal and its wonderfully talented staff !! Thank you Opal !!!

After several estimates we chose Opal Enterprises Inc. what I like about this company is their professionalism and attention to detail. The owner made several trips to my house to go over the job and point out details that I never would have thought of. He brought several samples and when I asked for more it was never a problem or inconvenience. He was more then willing to give me references and prompt with answers to my many questions. When he was not available his office staff was always helpful and dependable. While the actual job was being done he was in constant contact with his team of workers. His team was also very professional, pleasant and hard working. They cleaned up at the end of every day and did a thorough cleaning at the end of the job. I not only recommend this company but I would definitely call them again. This job exceeded my expectations.

The project went really well. In the past we have hired contractors for odd jobs, such as painting and we were really worried about such a big undertaking as a whole exterior remodel. From the time their service rep. came out to the property to measure, to the start of the job, through the very end the project went off without a hitch. The service rep. even came out the day the windows were going in to make sure that the installers were on time to finish the job by the end of the day. We were very pleased with this often rare attention to detail.

one-day job - Came out on Saturday. One small glitch is they ran out of material and had to come back a few days later to finish a small area. I had to contact the company 2x to find out when they were coming. One of the workers said they'd be back on Tues but when then didn't show by early afternoon, I had to call and learned they would be there on Weds. instead. Otherwise an extremely good experience and would highly recommend you contact them for estimate on your job.

Harry, the estimator, knew his stuff. He was on time, pleasant and professional. The work crew were very knowledgeable, worked hard and got the job done in the time frame estimated. The work was done very well and they even came back to double check on things when I had a concern, though, as they suspected, the problem lie somewhere other than the window seal. I am very pleased and have nothing but praise.

This company is by far the BEST company I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Every person associated with this company was professional, courteous, kept their appointments and called to keep me updated every step of the way. They were right on target with the time line estimate, give or take a day due to snow and cold weather. The workmanship was great and they guaranteed work as well as product. One window was cracked during installation and there was no hassle reordering and having it installed within a week. They thoroughly cleaned up their mess inside the house. Outside, they left some debris, but as I said we had snow and some of the debris was covered. I will definitely use this company again.

I liked their honesty and they were trustworthy. Their work was fabulous and they kept in contact with us the whole time.

It went great. We had the new roof installed one day before the October rains that drenched many parts of this area. Because of the rainstorms, they were not able to install the gutters until a few days after the roof. We did not have one drop of moisture from the new roof. We previously had had water in our basement due to the poor design of the gutters adjoining an addition to the original structure. The owner and his installers redesigned the gutter system to alleviate that issue. In addition, we previously had a damp smell from our fireplace when it rained. They wrapped the fireplace in such a way that alleviated that problem also. They cleaned up the area each day and were very courteous and hard working. They had given me an estimate months prior to the job and stayed true to that estimate. They were also very helpful in color selection and materials. I am in the remodeling industry myself, and would not hesitate to recommend them as I have in calls I have received regarding their service.

We were so happy to find a contractor that was willing to educate us on the product and the installation process. The price was just right! The office staff was extremely supportive throughout the process and communicative about what to expect. Opal was THE only company that would help us with a prior job of 1 window. Because of that 1 window experience....we absolutely chose them for the next bigger window job.

The story started with getting an estimate from another company in January, 2007. This other company had resided a house nearby and I liked the way it looked. Their salesman came out, brought no samples of siding, but plenty of pamphlets. I made an appointment for him to return. When he did I had decided what I was interested in doing. He gave me a price in writing, and then after leaving, called from his car to say he had made a mistake. It would be $4,000 more! A red flag was raised with this little trick. I told him I wanted to get other estimates. I called Opal Enterprises knowing they were a local business, something I have become more adamant about supporting. As I said, Mr Opalski made the sales call himself, precisely on time. He was extremely courteous. He brought many samples with and educated me in the siding process, especially with the energy efficient nature of materials that can be used. We made a follow-up appointment to discuss price and choices. I was able to go to the website and play around with colors using the test module. I felt very comfortable with Opal Enterprises, there were neither high pressure tactics used by them nor were any suspicions or red flags raised on my part. For the money I spent I was able to get all the trim, all new gutters and downspouts, an insulated product, the ceiling of my front porch covered in matching trim, decorative door surrounds for the patio and a side door and a brand new architectural shingled roof for $4000 less than the other estimate I had received that only included siding, no trim, no insulation, no gutters, no roof. The materials were delivered to my driveway, the work began at the time promised, the workers were efficient and dedicated to the job being done. No loud music playing, something that would annoy me a lot. They cleaned up any and all debris each and every day. The job was done in the time promised. There were extra things done that I never thought of, but Opal did. Going the extra mile is what counts. They did it for me. I am so glad I trusted my intuition on choosing them. They are the best.

I found their staff to be friendly and accommodating. Their estimator was very knowledgable and informative without being intimidating or pushy. They were able to schedule my job quickly, though the work took a day longer than originally scheduled. The crew was professional, curteous and tidy. They didn't make a mess in my house! Their prices reflected the value in my investment. I love my windows and would definitely recommend this company for any of their services! The owner of the company showed passion for his company and job satisfaction.
