They are very good and they were reasonable with their pricing. They are very meticulous and would even stay back very late just to ensure everything looks fine. They did a very good job. In fact we used them twice. The earlier one was to replace our front door.

The entire process went very smoothly. Don was very easy to deal with and had a variety of products from which to choose. I ordered a Provia entry door, sidelite, and storm door. It took about six weeks from the time I ordered the door until it was ready to be installed. I was able to take my time to decide what I wanted and didn't feel pressured to make a decision. Appointments were kept on time. The crew who installed the door arrived at 8:30 and worked until 3:30. They were professional, did a great job and when finished, cleaned up everything. It looks great.

Don responded quickly to our request for an estimate. He was able to come to our home on a weekday evening so that both my husband and myself could be here. He explained in detail the different windows offered and how his company would install them. We have beautiful oak woodwork and other companies said all the wood would have to be replaced at a very high cost. Don said the wood could be saved and, with that, we saved several hundred dollars. The cost of his windows was also better than competitors. When the job began, the work went smoothly and quickly. Don's crew were friendly, respectful, and very neat. Each window they replaced looked great and the rooms were left without a trace of sawdust. Ours was a very large job and our windows were wood and quite expensive. Going with Naperville Windows and Doors allowed us to replace more windows. Don was the salesman and installer. He obviously cares about all aspects of his business. They were wonderful from start to finish. We will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to others.

The work was divided up in two days. All the old windows and doors were taken away and debris was picked up from the lawn and deck. Bushes in front were covered, so they wouldn't have branches or flowers bent. The crew was friendly and courteous and professional.

First of all, I would like to thank Angies list! Without Angies list, it would be most difficult to have a starting point on interviewing and getting bids from all the different kinds of vendor's out there. I never would have found Naperville Windows and doors because I live in the city! From the initial visit from Don, to discuss my project , needs, and concerns, he provided customer service extraordinaire! Got his proposal and found it to be in line for what I was going to be getting and also how the job would be performed. They removed both doors and framing and started from scratch, like it was a new home, getting new entry doors. This is exactly what I wanted. The older doors were replacemennt doors and smaller with improper framing etc? My job was a two day job, and the workers worked straight through with barely any break time at all. Don and his team were very neat , cleaned up perfectly, and paid very close attention to details etc?I feel that Don takes ownership and pride in his company and workers and it really shows. I would definitely use Don and Naperville Windows and Doors for any future projects that I may have. Finally, you come away feeling that you really are getting what you have invested for!

We are going to use them again here in the springs. I used them last October. We had a numbers of windows done I think it’s about $9000 or something. Pretty much all the same thing with Berg Roofing – they are reasonable, responsive, they come on time and got the job done. I recommend them.

I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and straight forward approach they took with me including asking questions to determine the best window for my needs. When they came to install the windows they were prompt, neat and efficient in their work. I noticed a difference immediately in my windows. I would definitely recommend them.

The estimate was $1000-$2000 higher than the vendor we selected. The sales guy who came to our house talked at us for over 90 minutes, and was babbling, unfocused and talking about his own windows much of the time. He was nice, but just wasn't a focused, effective presentation. Also, he didn't email his estimate when he said I would and was embarrased when I had to remind him.

If you are are on the fence about using Naperville Windows and Doors it is time to get down on the side of using them. Absolutely was a great experience dealing with Don and his entire organization. Knowledgeable, efficient, quality workmanship!! It took them 3 LONG days to replace all of the windows but they did so with out any problems. Left the area clean and tidy everyday and when they finished it was just as if they were never here except that my windows looked fantastic. All of the windows treatments were taken down and re-installed just like they looked before and we had increased the window trim size from 2.25 to 3.5 inches. ( This is something I would recommend as it really makes the windows POP.) I have more windows that I need to replace next year and they will be coming back out to do the work for me. I strongly recommend this company to you.

I was very impressed with the guidance Don provided me in selecting the new door, and the information he supplied when he sent me the estimate. He and his assistant were prompt, considerate, and very neat. They were very careful to prepare the opening before installing the door and panels, and carefully adjusted the threshold and caulked seams for good energy efficiency at the end of the process.

I was receiving window estimates to replace my 29 windows and my home is historically land marked built in 1870. I needed wooden double hung to match the originals. My wife and I are disabled and she just out of the hospital from gall bladder surgery, I am my wife's care giver and the house was clean but messy. I was unshaved and in shorts and tee shirt. The salesman shows up and was very aloof and wouldn't give us a estimate. He told us the Marvin windows would cost over $1000 each and left. I felt he thought we couldn't afford his windows and seen us not at our best. I realized the windows would be expensive because the historical society would approve only quality wooden windows. I was prepared to spend over $1000 per window and Naperville Windows and Doors is the loser. Wouldn't recommend to any one, stay away and don't call.

Don and his company were fantastic throughout the entire process. We shopped around and received about 5 quotes but were most comfortable with Naperville Windows and Doors. We could not be happier with the way our windows have turned out. Due to a promotion from the manufacturer we were able to get triple pane installed. These windows really seem a lot quieter than what we had before (40 year old wood with storm windows). We were also very satisfied with the staining and pine wood casing that was installed since we opted for the full-frame installation. The new stain blends very well and matches the existing trim throughout our house. We would gladly hire Don and his crew again.

I set up an appointment and before we met they had to reschedule, they verbally apologized and gave a gift card as well! We rescheduled and Don gave me all the details I needed. He emailed the estimate which was a fairly competitive price. I am very satisfied with my dealings with Naperville Windows and will definitely contact them for my next project

We shopped five window suppliers before picking Naperville Window and Door (three of them were highly rated Angie's List providers). The glowing reviews that NWD had were a big part of the decision (not a single negative comment from what I read) and the fact that they had the lowest bid (although 4 of 5 quotes we received were within the same general range). But we ultimately picked NWD because of Don, the owner. During the entire process, Don was patient and took time to explain the options in what was an overwhelming process. He seemed the most genuinely interested in doing the best possible job and the one who didn't come across as trying to sell us something. Don handled the entire transaction and was responsive, easy to reach, called to confirm appointments. He's a true professional. When he told me he would be onsite for the job everyday, that's what sealed the deal for us. I liked dealing with the owner vs. the other companies that had a sales staff and where the owner was not involved. The install went smoothly, with Don communicating through the entire process. It took a little longer than expected (3+days) but it only confirmed that they took their time to do quality work. I remember one of the installers saying to me on day 3 at 6:30PM that they wouldn't be done until Don said they were done. Quality checks and "doing it right" was something Don and the crew took personally (i.e.. they took pride in their work). Don allowed me to do a walk-through and touched up a few things that I asked him to address. The crew was clean, professional, and courteous. My wife was impressed (she's a neat freak). The windows we picked were the Marvin Ultimate with a full-frame install. We did 15 double-hung and 2 casements, about 1/2 the house. The previous windows were ROW wood windows (18 years old, builders grade). We wanted to keep the wood look. (Wood windows are expensive so prepare yourself if that's what you want.) Choosing the right product was equally challenging given the number of options. The Marvin line had impeccable reviews and seemed the most well built. I recommend that you take the time to read up on the manufacturers and their products before deciding. Determine your budget. Go to a showroom. Decide on what material you want (vinyl, fiberglass, wood, combo). Don't skimp out, pick the best possible window you can for your budget. And make sure you pick the right installer!! We've had the windows for six weeks and noticed two things right away (besides how nice they look). First, the house is much quieter (which was one of the reasons we decided to replace the windows). Second, the house is much cooler. The Low-E coatings really work at keeping the heat out. The office and bedrooms used to heat up so quickly with the afternoon sun. The new windows have noticeably reduced that. This was a nice surprise since we were mostly interested in the energy efficiency during the winter time. If you're meticulous like me I think you will come to the same conclusion that we did, that NWD is a fantastic company to do business with. Highly recommended!

Fabulous, from start to finish. Highly recommend using them. No high pressure sales tactics with Don whatsoever. Just facts and figures that let you calculate what your needs and priorities and tradeoffs are.... He clearly explained the options available for replacing our 20 old single-glass double-hung windows and ugly storms, including various types and grades of windows, and the difference between "inserts" and "full-frame" replacement. We opted for full-frame replacement vinyl on all the windows, which means removing all the vestiges of the old window and frame inside and out and replacing it entirely with a new unit. (An "insert" merely puts a new window within much of the old frame. So if there were insulation deficiencies or problems behind the rest of the frame, those might go unnoticed and uncorrected. Additionally, the inserts wind up giving you less glass because you're putting a frame-within-a frame. This worried us particularly on some of the narrower windows. If the original frame is no longer square / plumb, the insert will look out of whack as well; not unusual in an older home). We wound up choosing Prism windows by Simonton after reading the literature and doing research on the web, and based on Don's recommendation. We also decided to have the interior frames replaced as well (the color match on the stain was perfect, as was the finish work). (A high-pressure estimate from one of those companies that advertise on TV and the papers about their amazing "discounts" and one-day installations promises did not mention the downsides of doing just inserts, or anything to do with replacing the entire frame. And can you imagine what kind of quality workmanship you get with 20 windows being installed in one day???) On price, Naperville Windows was extremely competitive and above-board about the various options. We decided to spend a little more to be sure we had the job done right and the assurance that we weren't potentially just covering up problems with just the inserts. It took about 3 weeks for the windows to arrive from the factory. Then it took took two guys nearly six days to finish the install. They were very diligent, thorough, neat and detail-oriented. Also very pleasant, polite and communicative. They did a top-notch, neat job with the aluminum cladding and caulking on the exterior and with the interior framing. We've been using home improvement and repair contractors for decades in two states and rarely have come across a company with the integrity, honesty and workmanship of Naperville Windows.

The work went perfectly. We were very pleased with the work that Naperville Windows and Doors completed. They were punctual, neat and great workers. In addition to cladding the door and sidelight jambs they replaced the doorbell activator and caulked around all the seams even some they didn't create during their work. They were very pleasant and did a great job.

Nothing but good things to say starting with Shawn, the sales person, who arrived on time and was thorough in explaining the options available to me. I had never heard of Simonton Windows until he introduced them to me and I was able to research them online during the ~3-days required while Shawn prepared the quote. The price quoted for the windows was within my budget so I decided to get a new door, as well; that process was equally smooth from a sales perspective. Quotes were emailed timely, and Shawn made an appointment to return to my home so I could sign the contracts when it was convenient for me. Between the contract signing and the installation, Don came to take the final window and door measures which, again, were scheduled at my convenience and took less than 10-minutes to complete. The windows were delivered to NWD within a few days of the estimated delivery stated on the contract and they were available to install them within 4-days of that, but business travel on my end delayed the installation by about 2-weeks. There was no pressure exerted for me to try to rearrange my schedule to accommodate theirs. Don quoted 2.5-days to install the windows and the door and it took exactly that. The installation crew arrived on time and picked up after themselves nicely (thank you!) They were professional, efficient, as unobtrusive as possible, and friendly...so much so that I ordered two more replacement windows before the installation was complete. The crew even re-installed my storm door, which I'll confess I'm thinking of removing so that my beautiful new door is even more visible. In the interest of full disclosure I will add that one window came in missing its decorative grids which, to be totally honest, I didn't even notice but would have eventually. Shawn noticed it right away and explained the process for correcting this. The whole process has been stress-free and a very positive experience. Shawn knows his job, and Don is meticulous. I will recommend them to anyone who is looking for a company with integrity. You should absolutely give them a try.

We worked directly with Don, the owner and General Manager. We found Naperville Windows and Doors via Angies List and a Better Business Review where his company has excellent reviews and no complaints. In this age where anyone can put a negative review on the internet, this was a great compliment to his service and his company. Don and his team were nothing less than professional, punctual and polite through the whole process. I really prefer to bring my business to a local company whenever possible as it keeps the local economy thriving. Don and his team certainly earned my business and my respect with our window installations.

The quality of the work was pretty good. This past May we found out that some water got in around the bay window and we called the company. The owner came immediately to check it and found that there was something wrong with the roof and that is where the water was coming out from. He found that there was a crack on the roof. We are very happy with the company and he is very responsible. They came in and listened us and introduced the products with us, they spent time with us to discuss the process, which is very important because as a customer, we don't know much about the windows and we had questions. We would definitely use the company again.

Don, the general manager, measured and quoted the windows. We purchased Integrity windows - stained before delivery by the installer, not painted - and he matched the new window trim to our existing baseboards perfectly. Installation date came as originally planned. The crew Niro and Danny were professional throughout the ten days of installation (darn rain). They removed the windows carefully and did not damage interior or exterior walls. They found interior water damage after removing one window and replaced plywood and some cedar siding. Don is a perfectionist and decided he didn't like some of the trim work on our new picture window and had his crew remove and redo it to his satisfaction. We didn't have to point out any areas that needed touch up, as they pointed it out to us. Overall it was one of the best experiences we've had with any type of repair work we've had done to our home in quite some time. They were professional, helpful, price was in line with or better than other quotes we received. They worked very hard and produced quality work. We'd recommend them to any one who needed window replacement.

Received an initial call back within 24 hours of request for quotation and a site visit was performed several days later. I was shown samples from several different manufactures, all high quality, and with some recommendations from Naperville Door we put our new doors on order. Approximately 4 weeks later our doors were delivered and installed on schedule. The craftsmanship and professionalism of these folks was awesome and we will be utilizing them for our next door or window project.

I will say that we are completely satisfied with the service provided from start to finish. We had Naperville Window and Door quote the window project over 9 months ago when we started to get our project going. I was concerned that they may not hold the cost but he did. Once we agreed on the final number Don came out and re measured all the windows. We asked what the time line was for deliver and installations he indicated 6 week's and as promised he delivered. His installers were at our house for 2 day and cleaned up Dailey, and took great care not to damage our flower beds that surround our entire house. I would have included my phone number on here but was told not to but would decently 100% recommend them. I work in the Electrical construction industry and realize the importance of true customer service.
