Don from Naperville Window was fantastic to work with. Quote came back very fast, as did a second quote when we changed models on the patio door. He also went out of his way to source an Albany door - not one of their normal suppliers, to get the door I preferred. After bids reviewed, he came back to finalize the contract. We went through options paying particular attention to make sure all colors were correct, and to match as close to existing features as possible. Once the doors were in, we provided a trim sample for stain matching - never an exact science, but the finish job was great - as Don pointed out.. the sample I gave him, installed a year before by our window contractor, was stained, but had no finish on it!. No such issue here. Order times were fairly standard - nothing unexpected. I think it actually came in sooner than I was expecting. Installation had to be rescheduled once due to weather. The patio door went in first. I was most concerned about this one because the existing patio door also had a sliding storm door on it, so the exterior was built up/trimmed out for this. The door was in in about 3 hrs, trimmed, capped, and the results were excellent. The front door went equally as well. Neatly capped in aluminum and caulked. Both doors installed in the same day. Follow-up customer service from Don was above and beyond what I have come to expect. Great experience, highly recommended.

Don, the owner of Naperville Door and Window, provided us with several estimates to replace up to six windows and a patio door with a transom. He was very prompt with returning calls and emails within 24 hours and updating estimates as requested. He also did not push the top of the line product (Marvin Ultimates) even tough we decided to go that route. Our windows and patio door were installed approximately five weeks after placing the deposit. Don's crew of two completed the job over two days and were all business. They started promptly at 8 AM and worked until they completed the project for the respective day (three windows day one and the patio door day two) without taking a break. The cleaned up the site like they were not even here, and pointed out deficiencies to the previous windows (which were five year old Jeld Wen windows - builder grades). It is a night and day difference between what we had and what we have now... The entire project from start to finish was a great experience, and I plan to use Naperville Door and Window for future window and door projects.

Don and his team worked well together. They were always prompt and completed the work on schedule. We were so satisfied with the superior work performed that we had another door replaced on a home we have for sale. This company is fantastic and gives their customers a level of quality service that is hard to find these days. We plan on having Naperville Windows and Doors replace our entry and side door in the future.

Don Vievesis and his crew were very thorough and professional beginning with a prompt estimate and ending with installation. He kept us informed after signing a contract, and worked to get our doors in as quickly as possible despite it being winter. We received several estimates and did feel his pricing was fair. He worked with us to provide a quality product that satisfied our needs. He really went the extra mile, too, in making sure our wood trim was stained perfectly. We couldn't be happier with the work they did!

This is the second time we have used Naperville Window and Doors and we would use them again based on the work they have done on both jobs of replacing doors and windows. Very satisfied with all the work they have done for us.

Our experience with NWD was entirely satisfactory. Don from NWD arrived to do the initial quote promptly at the appointed time. We had already obtained quotes from 5 other installers previously and he was willing to give us a quote for exactly the same work proposed by another Marvin installer so we could compare the costs. His quote was much lower (by thousands of dollars) than the other installer. The cost for these wood framed Marvin windows and doors was even as low as the prices quoted by some others for vinyl or aluminum. On the day when Don and his assistant installed the window and doors, they were very careful to protect the carpeting and furnishings and to do a neat job. They finished the entire install in one day. The final caulking and sealing was done very carefully even though it came at the end of a long day of work. When they were done, they cleaned up thoroughly and hauled away the old window and doors. They were very friendly, considerate, and professional. We highly recommend NWD to anybody who needs windows or doors. We are very pleased with the way the doors and windows look and work. The only minor problem we encountered was that the doors were somewhat difficult to lock. Don was aware of this and said that he would contact Marvin to replace the locking hardware if the mechanism did not loosen up and resolve itself to our satisfaction. Later, I made a minor modification of the locks and corrected the problem without needing to contact NWD.

We are so sorry we are so late in writing our Angie?s List feedback report for Naperville Windows & Door Company, our Marvin windows & installation was completed back in November 2010. We have been looking at window manufacturers for several years and based on our research we definitely wanted Marvin windows, based on the quality, wood interior & exterior aluminum clad (no maintenance). We went back & forth on deciding whether we should just replace the front of the house windows or just have the whole entire house completed. We finally made our decision to have the whole entire house completed, which consisted of 2 picture windows, 9 double hung & 3 French style patio doors. The next step in the process was selecting a window installer/contractor ? one that would be willing to work with us & provide superior workmanship & quality for the window(s) installment ? since we?ve read & knew that it?s all about how the windows are installed for quality we took our time in finding the right installer/contractor. Selecting the right installer/contractor was an excruciating task; we had received numerous bids and none of them felt right and/or listened to us regarding our needs until we met with Don Vievesis (Owner) from Naperville Window & Doors. We found Naperville Windows & Doors thru Angie?s List and we are so glad we did. We met with Don Vievesis (owner) of Naperville Windows & Doors in mid September to get an estimate on Marvin windows & installation. Don arrived on time at our home and was very professional and knowledgeable about window installation measuring ever window inside & out. Don provided us with the estimate within 3 days via e-mail & we followed up with a few questions, which Don promptly answered via e-mail. Don had provided us with 2 pages of references of the jobs he has done broken down to the window manufacturers he has installed. We called 3 of the Marvin window references ? all three spoke very highly of Naperville Windows & Doors - we knew then that this was the installer/contractor we wanted. We then set-up an appointment with Don Vievesis (owner) from Naperville Windows & Doors 4 days later to finalize the contract and to go over any other details or questions we might of had. Don indicated the Marvin windows would take approximately 4-6 weeks to come in. Right on the money 6 weeks later our windows were in. Don immediately called us to set-up the install date for the 1st week of November, but we had to push it out one more week due to a conflict in our schedule. Don was very accommodating with our schedule & we both agreed on the 2nd week of November 2010. We couldn?t of ask for better weather in the 2nd week of November ? 70?s! Don & his crew arrived early each day & the total installation took 3 full days to complete & we couldn?t be happier. We are extremely pleased with our Marvin windows & the installation is top-notch superior workmanship quality. The best part of Naperville Windows & Doors from Don Vievesis (owner) arrived in the mail a 10- year transferable labor warranty, which we never expected. Truly, this company stands behind superior workmanship & quality. We have & will continue to refer Naperville Windows & Doors every chance we get.

I like their price. Their customer service is is very professional. They made the appointment and got the installation done on time. They are excellent.

Everything went well throughout the entire process. Good sales experience. Mike was able to recommend and order the Low-E3 366 windows we wanted for the sun-baked west side of the house, whereas some other companies wanted us to get an odd coating or just order regular windows. The contract was clear and specified everything we had discussed. Mike made it clear that it would be up to us to stain or paint the new stops; there were no surprises. Good scheduling experience. They could have put in the windows within about 3 weeks, but to fit my schedule the windows were installed about 4 weeks after the order was placed. Very flexible and adaptable. I made a change to installation instructions during the measuring appointment, and Don and the office staff were great about ensuring that the change was documented. Don invited me to see the result during the installation before continuing with the job. Great installation and cleanup. Showed up on time with exactly what we ordered, unboxed one window first and showed me the labels, allowed me to choose from two exterior aluminum trim colors on the spot as discussed during measuring appointment, installation looks great, removed and handed me all window labels, demonstrated features of installed windows, left everything clean inside and out.

We interviewed and requested quotes from five different companies. This process turned out to be incredibly frustrating in that we could only get timely quotes from Don at Naperville Windows and Doors and Sean Woods from Renewal by Andersen. We decided to go with the Marvin Windows and Naperville Windows and Doors because the product was the best for our needs and I felt Don would personally assure that the project would be completed as promised. So how did it go? From start to finish this project went exactly as promised --- on schedule, on time, as described and with no surprises. Don and his team are skilled, professional craftsmen that take pride in their work and our new windows, which we enjoy everyday, are the proof! They were punctual, courteous and took great care in keeping our home clean and making the project as painless as possible.

Their work was very well done, I don't have any complaint. Don was also accommodating with some request I had for their insurance. Overall everything went well, the windows look like new with a very reasonable expense. All other company are eager to replace the windows, when the huge cost of the investment is not worth the return.

They were very responsive, punctual and professional and followed up very well. I didn't use them simply because I had another estimate from a highly-rated company that was less money and I was just as impressed with them. I would get an estimate from Naperville Windows and Doors again if I have further work to be done.

It went very well as been explained in detail. They took care of an unexpected, unpleasant situation very nicely as when the old kitchen windows were taken down, there were thousands of ants nesting around the rotten frame which you could not see from outside or inside of the house.

This is the 2nd time we've used Naperville Windows and Door and I've been very satisfied with both projects. For this project, Don originally came out to provide a quote on adding a storm door and rehanging the main door at the rear entrance to my house. Upon inspection of the door - it became obvious that the wood door had warped so much that it would have to be replaced. Don was very helpful in stepping us through the options we had for the project. We settled on a fiberglass replacement door. The entrance also had a transom window above the door. This had to be replaced as well. About 6 weeks after the initial consultation - Dan and a crew member came out to install the replacement door and window. They spent about 5-6 hours working on the project. Everything looks fantastic. I am very happy with the results. I would definitely hire this company again for any future window or door projects that come up.

I just went with another company. They were very nice and the owner called to make sure that I received an estimate on the same product I was looking at with them.

Our 9-home townhouse association had most or all windows and patio doors (all Marvin) replaced by Naperville Windows and Doors. They were extremely professional, courteous and respectful in their interactions with us. I was actually a little hesitant due to the newness of the company and the fact that they submitted the lowest bid. However, they did an excellent, high quality job. Obviously, I can not attest to the work long-term. They were a bit off in their original estimate of how long each unit would take, but that is the only slightly negative comment I would provide. We are very happy with our new windows.

This is one of those excellent companies that you always hope for. Don was great from the initial visit all the way through final installation. I would recommend them for any door or window project that you are considering having done.

After meeting with 4 other Angi's List providers I selected this company because Don was willing to work with my schedule and from our first meeting he provided excellent customer service. Prices from all the companies I interviewed were similar. I was on a tight deadline and where other companies said "6 - 8 weeks give or take," Don gave me a more accurate (and realistic) date for when the door would arrive from the manufacturer. He called me regularly to gave me updates on the delivery status. I never once had to call him to check on the order. We set the installation date immediately upon the door's arrival. Don and his assistant arrived exactly on time, worked without taking a break, were extremely professional with the installation, used a vacuum the entire time, removed shoes each time they came into the house. They did not answer a bunch of cell phone calls while they were working. They just focused on this job. The house had already been painted and new wood flooring had already been installed. It was impossible to determine that this door installation took place after those services. The floor and the paint were untouched. They left an immaculately clean site when they were finished. In addition I had an interior door that was not functioning and they were kind enough to check it for me, pronounce it not fixable and even took it out of the house so that I wouldn't have to haul it. This is a company that offers "personal" service. I'm extremely glad I went with them for this job.

Our neighbor recommended Naperville Windows and Doors to us after they replaced their windows and doors throughtout their 2 story house. Our neighbor had called numerous window companies located in the Naperville area. They selected Naperville Windows and Doors, because this was the company that showed up "on time" for the appointment, had very competitive prices and product offerings and provided an excellent product and workmanship warranty. These are just some of the factors that made us also use Naperville Windows and Doors. The owner, Don arrived "on time" for our appointment. Don brought samples of his product offerings and we chose Simonton windows. Don also offers Pella and Marvin windows too. What I liked about this company is that the owner comes and reviews what you are replacing, inspects your current windows, measures and will recommend styles and trim that complements your home inside and outside. Don brought several brand names and styles for us to choose from. My husband and I hadn't even thought about a "look" for the windows, but Don showed us the Prairie look for the front windows with a inside wood grain finish and we LOVE THEM! I'm so glad Don recommended this to us. Don provided us with references, but we had our neighbors as our reference and that was good for us. Along with his crew, Don is also one of the installers of the windows. You don't see that very often anymore!! We liked that very much as he stands behind his product and his workmanship. Don and his team are very professional, pleasant, quiet, and hard working. They did a thorough cleaning at the end of the job. The workmanship was excellent as they had to replace rotted wood, added additional insulation, caulked, and cut new siding around the windows. I not only recommend this company but I would definately call them again. This job exceeded my expectations. Not only did Naperville Windows and Doors do our home, but they also did my in-laws home! I hope you consider Naperville Windows and Doors. This company is here to stay in Naperville and has a excellent warranty policy.

My husband and I were very nervous about having to replace many of our windows and our front/back doors. Our house is only a few years old, yet many of the windows were already leaking, all of them do poorly in regards to temperature extremes, and their overall performance is mediocre at best - even by new construction standards. We requested 3-estimates from Angie's List contractors who were highly rated, along with a couple of contractors referred to us by a local construction supply house. Out of all of these Don was the best in terms of first impression, professionalism, willingness to answer many questions and concerns, product knowledge, and follow up. He suggested we use Simonton's Prism line for the windows and back door, and Therma-Tru for our front door. We were able to go look at the products at Don's supplier's showroom (we also asked about Don and heard nothing but good things). The glass in the windows has Argon between the panes for excellent insulation, and the glass has a coating which blocks 95% of the sun's harmful UV rays. The new windows and doors function beautifully, and they put the ones which were replaced/remain to shame. Don kept us up to date on scheduling (the windows are made to order, usually 4-6 weeks, and the front door had some dents in it so Don reordered it before even bringing it out to the house which was great), and was helpful and happy to answer any questions or concerns we had as the job progressed. Don and his crew were polite, hard working, and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. Based on some of the other quotes we received Don could charge significantly more, but since he doesn't have the overhead like some of the larger companies (no elaborate showroom, no large sales force) he keeps his prices very competitive. Based on the price and the quality of the products, and the workmanship that went into installing it all, we couldn't be happier - and it's hard to imagine anyone else doing a better job. We will definitely recommend Don to our neighbors, friends, and family. When we replace the remaining original builder's windows in a few years (we're hoping they hold up that long) we will definitely be calling Don.

They came when they said they would (for the estimate as well as the installation) and completed this project in one day. One of the windows had wood rot and they repaired it for no charge. I would absolutely recommend this company!
