Owen came out and looked at the unit. He actually told me that it would be worth repairing rather than replacing. He said the unit was older however it was as good as they get... He said with a engine replacement, i could get about 10-15 more years with this system. Since i am not sure if I will like central vac, I figured the $170 investment was well worth the risk over replacing it for a 1000 or so, and not liking it. Very professional. Well worth the call. 10% off via Angie's List was also very generous, since Owen suggested it without me asking for it.

Excellent. He had a good idea what the problem was by my explanation the phone. Free call to diagnose the problem! Who does that? Bill was actually less than his estimate. Very polite and very honest. Highly recommended.

He replaced hose, transferred sleeve from old hose to new one, so I did not have to buy a new one of those, checked the actual unit in basement to make sure it was working properly, installed a rack to hang hose and keep it from kinking as it was in the closet, watched to make sure everything was working as I vacuumed an area, made sure my tools were in good condition and replaced one that was missing, all within less than an hour and he answered all my questions. Very professional and did a great job!

Owen was fantastic to work with. We needed to have a new vacuum unit installed (piping was already present in house - previous owner had removed the unit). He went out of his way to make sure the system was perfectly installed, including running to Home Depot and changing an outlet to power the unit. He tested the system and was very thorough... finding an outlet for the vacuum in the garage we didn't know about.

I called earlier in the week in a panic that my central vac system was completely plugged up & would not work. This is a real problem for me as I use my vac system at least once a day. We then scheduled an appointment for later in the week. Owen came to my house today 1/7/10, & assessed the situation. He assured me that he would be able to get the system working. He then methodically checked each outlet until he found the source of the blockage. Once the system was cleared, he then found an outlet in the family room that had an airflow leak. Next, he found the source of the leak in the basement & repaired the leaky pipe. Finally, he saw that the connections on the vacuum hose were not properly attached, so he then glued them on as should have been done in the past. Bottom line is that Owen provided top notch service. He was very proactive & fixed all of my problems & more. I absolutely love my central vac system,& from now I will only call Just Central Vacuums any time I need service. Thank you Owen!!
