Outstanding. Was able to replace the broken part without having to cut into our kitchen island or basement ceiling to access. I still don't know how he did it. Also fixed another inlet that we usually don't use that was found to be poorly wired by the system installer. Looked at our kitchen and offered to change the color of the replacement part to better match things vs. just replacing with the white that was there. Very polite, called to let us know when his prior stop ran longer than expected. Any future issues with our central vac. we know who we'll be calling!

Owen was very responsive and called me back right away and was even willing to come out on New Year’s Day which we appreciated so much since we aren’t home on business days at all. He checked every vacuum valve and cleaned them all, cleaned out the canisters in garage and showed us how everything works. Then he gave us some great options for new vacuum parts to buy. I vacuum every room all the time now and it’s so easy and convenient. I want to buy a couple more hoses now so I can have one in the basement and upstairs too instead of carrying the tubes around the house. Highly recommend it!

Owen set up an appointment (after returning my call shortly after I left a message) for the very next day and arrived when he said he would. He gave me 2 options after quickly diagnosing problem- new motor or new vacuum giving prices for both. He also volunteered to check & clean my attachments, wiped out the inside of canister and answered all my questions. He was very polite and professional. Great Service! Superior follow-through. Stand by their work! Owen, the owner and our technician is prompt, works fast, and has very reasonable pricing. He arrived both times we used him at the start of the time planned. He listens, communicates well, is careful, is respectful, is thorough, and leaves things cleaner than when he arrived. He stands behind their work and will address any issues if they come up. He was well aware of problems from the manufacturer and determined we had gotten a bad filter from others in the past, which was causing a lot of our problems. He gave us good options for improving things for the future too and helping prevent other problems. It is nice to work with a service business that truly understands service. Having compared two different central vacuum service companies Just Central Vacuums of Forest Park IL is who I chose. Just Central is one of the authorized dealers for MD Central Vacuum manufacturing and is an "Elite Dealer" for MD Central Vacuum. Owen Perkins in the owner/service technician of Just Central. Owen had given me a two-hour window of 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and called at about 1:40 pm asking if he could be there by 2:00 pm and maybe a little sooner. I told him awesome as I was looking forward to having the work done. Owen arrived and quickly got to work initially with me showing Owen where all the inlets where and off to get things done he went. Owen even made an adjustment to the inlet in our upstairs hallway to work around the wainscoting that one of the inlets was built into. Before I knew it the work was complete. Owen then showed me the vacuum bags which I already had and explained to me how the bags go into the unit itself. It was something I did not realize that was part of our system and grateful to learn of it. Owen also noticed that our hardwood floor attachments where on their final legs and advised about replacing them soon. Owen actually decided to give me one new hardwood floor attachment which was a great customer service goodwill gesture and I decided to buy the 2nd one from Owen at that point. Overall I am very happy with the service that Owen provided for my system and definitely will keep his card handy in case we need something else for the system. I do highly recommend Just Central Vacuums.

We used Just Central Vacuums to install a central vacuum in our house. Owen was very professional during the pre-sale & installation. His post sale service is also very professional and quick, even coming within the hour on a Saturday. I highly recommend Central Vacuum cleaners for a great product and incredible service (pre and post).

Owen arrived on time and performed the task promptly. No hidden costs, no drama or exaggeration of the problem. He went into attic and fixed the piping and my central vacuum started workin as before. He was prompt, professional, courteous, honest, and extremely thorough. He removed his shoes without being asked. He is very knowledgeable as well. He knew within 1 year when my house was built (1989) based on the central vac unit. This was one of the best (if not the best) experience I've ever had with a service provider. I would not hesitate to use this company for any future central vacuum needs.

Owen was prompt, explained all he was doing. Told me central vacuum unit was an older one but motor still worked fine. Suggested a new wand and floor/carpets attachments which work beautifully. He was a joy to work with.

Owen was remarkably professional. This was truly an exceptional service appointment. Owen knows his stuff, and worked efficiently and methodically. He explained exactly what the cause of our problem was, and replaced the inlets that had deteriorated/melted seals with new inlets. Really great experience. I called to schedule the appointment for a problem I was having and they spent several minutes on the phone with me walking me through things I could try on my own instead of having them make a service call. This is not something many companies in the service business would do. We weren't able to solve over the phone so a service tech came out and fixed the problem and cleaned our system (which really increased the airflow and suction). I highly recommend this business.

This was one of the best service calls that I have ever had. They were prompt and very responsive to my questions. Recommendations were well explained and ALL options were discussed which allowed me to make the best decision regrading repair versus replacement. I loved the honesty and the integrity of this company. He even hung a new rack in my garage so that I could still use the old vacuum hoses for my cars!! I will use this company again!

I spoke to three companies in total before deciding to work with Owen. Owen patiently listened to my queries and answered them upto my satisfaction, so I invited him to take a look over our place to provide an estimate. He arrived on time and went around the whole house to take measurements. He came up with a plan for outlet to cover the whole floor area, which to my surprise was less than what I had expected. He gave us a quote which was pretty reasonable. I called him to confirm and scheduled time for installation in next couple of days. The installation went very well. It was done in well under the time we anticipated and without any drywall damage. Overall, I am very happy with the work, and would recommend this firm to others.

Owen was doing an estimate near where I live and showed up in about an hour after I called and tested the hose which worked fine. When he tried the power head he said that the power head needed some maintenance. Since the system is 17 years old I had him work on the power head and it now works like new. He is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I would recommend Owen to anyone considering a central vacuum system or has a system which needs repair. I am very glad that I found him.

I have worked with Owen several times to repair an existing ventral vacuum unit. He has been very creative in his problem solving, trying to provide me with several options. This time, my unit was beyond repair. He recommended a new unit, and had it installed and working within 1 hour! Owen is always very professional, and is so very knowledgeable about vacuums! We purchased an upgraded central vac system (a HUGE one!) from Owen several months ago to replace one that didn't seem to have enough suction to pull in our Hide-A-Hose system. We were given a 30 day written guarantee that it would function as needed. Problem fixed and everything ran smoothly... This week we got a clog in the system, and Owen was out within a day of my contacting him. He cleaned out our system, found a pipe that had separated and worked on that, and spent nearly 3 hours at our home, primarily working on the pipes that were installed when our home was built (i.e., not by him). When it was time to leave, he refused any payment, saying he had promised that our new system would work and that his service was part of ensuring that it did. It is always such a pleasure (and often such a rarity) to find a contractor who takes such pride in his work and has such integrity. I hope I don't need him again anytime soon, but for anyone looking for an installer or troubleshooter, Owen is definitely your guy.

From the minute we met Owen, we had a high confidence level that he had the skills to provide a successful installation. During the initial meeting, Owen had a very detailed walk through of the house. We had an excellent discussion of installation options and costs. He was very flexible on installation schedules. On the day of the installation, Owen arrived as scheduled He worked throughout the day to complete the installation. When finished, we had an excellent walk through of the features and functions. Owen left the house and the condition of the house was as if the system had always been here. The installation was so clean that there were no indications that anything had been done. The product is excellent as well. We had no idea as to the effectiveness of a central vac. It is wonderful. If you are considering installing a new central vac, you would be making a huge mistake if you did not contact Owen. He has old world skills and quality while delivering state of the art products.
