Amazing job. Patchwork of holes and divots (son's room!) are so good can't see where they were!

For the amount of work they did, we consider it reasonable but it was a lot of money. They did a good job. You get what you pay for. They are on the high side a little bit but they do a good job. They clean up very well and for me that was important. When they start and finish the job I don’t have to follow them around and clean up after them. They were here when they said they would be.

We were extremely happy with the quality of the work performed. We received a very detailed estimate that clearly described the work that was to be performed, so there were no surprises. The crew communicated the plan from start to finish at the beginning, then reviewed that with us each day to set clear expectations of what was going to happen. The preparation work at the beginning was very important to a smooth and successful job - do not skip this step! They were very proactive to ask questions where they felt the original plan needed to be changed (e.g. two coats of paint instead of one) and to show us where we needed the extra work. We made two changes to the original work order, and they were handled professionally and without any pressure from the crew. They took great care in making sure that we had a chance to inspect the work while they were present, and to ensure that we had an opportunity to point out any mistakes or touch-ups that were needed (not that there were many!) The quality of the finishing and paintwork was exemplary. The crew (led by Jose) was very careful to treat our house with care and respect, making sure that all items (furniture, carpet and floors) were covered and protected during the job. They were on-time when arriving at our house in the morning and completed their work on-schedule each day. At the end of the job, Bruce (co-owner of the company) stopped by to check in with us and make sure that we were happy with the services provided. We have no hesitation in using Jalapeno Paint Werx for our next project in our house.

The company never responded to our request for quote. No phone call or email. If Tape & Drywall Works did not want this job, they should have been professional enough to respond.

Overall, the project was very much a success.

Loved, loved, loved that they offered someone to help you with choosing paint colors. Don't hesitate to utilize Heather, the consultant, as she is amazing. She listens to what you like and your what you would like your space to look and feel like. They do a good job of keeping you up-to-date on the process, the start date, problems (i.e. we had wall-paper from h***) and any other issues. My job ran longer as I added trim and baseboards to the scope of work. From appointment for the estimate to the final payment this company did a good job with communication. It was more money than I wanted to spend, but well worth it. I didn't notice until a couple of weeks after the job was completed that there was paint on door jams in different places (dark locations) but there were not very many of those places, but I would suggest really looking in those darker places when your painting work is complete. We will be having them paint the exterior this spring.

They were very customer focused and really listened to what we were looking for. They peroformed research on the best product for the job. The team lead worked very hard and was always on time. They cleaned up everyday after they finished. My concerns are that they are very expensive and we encountered numerous product and application issues. We had some misunderstandings but they were always responsive.

Everything was excellent. Whereas other paint companies said it would take 10 days, Jalapeno did it in 7 1/2. The crews were very professional, timely, and skilled. They were very helpful ahead of time helping us select color and paint quality choices, and with follow-up afterward to make sure we were still completely satisfied. If we had any questions about how any work was done they went over it again to make sure we were 100% satisfied. Jose, the crew chief was great to work with, and Brendan, Tom, Martin, and any others (sorry if I forgot any names) all worked hard and were skilled. All in all, we highly recommend Jalapeno for their painting quality, going the extra mile to make sure we were 100% happy, and for being very professional and courteous to work with, and we would definitely use them again. Everyone from Jalapeno Paint Werx was very professional. Bruce Watson, one of the owners, came out to give me a quote, and I was impressed with his promptness and professionalism. Jalapeno didn't give us the cheapest quote, but they were the ones I had the best feeling about, which turned out to be 100% justified. We had three painters working in our house, and they all arrived on time and were friendly, efficient, and hard-working. I only saw them take one short lunch break on each of the two days they were working in my home. They left my house cleaner at the end of the job than it was at the beginning. Bruce came by on day two of the job to check how things were going and inspect the work. We haven't found any flaws with the patching or painting, and we like the colors. I would use Jalapeno Paint Werx again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

They were very professional from start to finish. They came out and gave us an estimate. The work was started on the day we were told it would. everything was finished quickly and orderly. we were charged exactly what was quoted in the end. We will definately be using them in the future.

I called to get an apointment from them to come out and give me a quote for 3 rooms of painting. They responded quickly and came out the next day. Two days later they were painting. Very professional 3 guys 9 hours of work.....the best! Had two other bids from angies listed painters. They werent the cheapest or the most expesive. We just felt comfortable with them and there was no pressure to use them. Excellent, will use them again! Great job.

The crew leader arrived a few days ahead and reviewed the job with us. All materials were ordered correctly. The crew arrived punctually each morning and left at approximately the same time each day. They were polite and knowledgeable. When we realized, after the first coat, that one of the colors was too dark, they recommended a self priming paint for the lighter shade. It worked great. They finished when the estimator said they would and the quality would meet perfectionists standards.

We asked Jalapeno Paint Werx to give us an estimate for painting our foyer. Bruce came out and spent quite some time with me going over our options, and was professional and friendly. The quote he gave us matched that of one other company, but Jalapeno Paint Werx carries both liability and workmen's comp insurance, and the other company didn't have workmen's comp coverage. Since our foyer is two stories high, we felt that it was important for the company we chose to have both types of coverage. A third estimate that we got was over twice as much as Jalapeno's. After we received the estimate, I let Bruce know that we would need to meet the crew leader who would be in charge of the job (as we've had several bad experiences in the past). Bruce readily agreed to do that, and I received a call the following day from Nathan, the crew leader, to arrange a time to come over. Nathan was experienced and knowledgeable, and explained in detail how the job would be done. We arranged for Jalapeno to do the job, and I signed the estimate. A few days before they did the job, we decided to use an eggshell finish rather than the Ultra Low Sheen finish that we originally agreed upon. Bruce quickly revised our original agreement and estimate. I wasn't home when the job was done, but I believe it was completed by Nathan and one other painter within a few hours. They protected our chandelier with a plastic cover, didn't splatter paint on other surfaces, and completely cleaned up the foyer area when the job was done. I came home to find a beautifully painted foyer. We were especially impressed with how accommodating Jalapeno Paint Werx was with regard to the special requests that we made. We will definitely use their services again.

Someone came and looked at the paint and gave me an estimate. There were 2 painters. They had the head guy come and look at what they had to do before they showed up; I thought that was nice. I had one another estimate but I changed some of the stuff that I wanted done so I would say they are not cheap. Their price is whatever the going rate is these days.

We didn't have any dislike at all about them. They were very clean. They were very responsive to any concerns we have. When we pointed out something, the next it was fixed.

Phoned for and estimate, could not get it promptly.

They are wonderful. They are cheap too. I had them come back to do more work.

They were wonderful. I had a few issues I was not happy with they came back, and really tried to fix it. Whatever it took they just wanted to make me happy. Their prices were reasonable. I would use their services again.

We desperately need interior painting that was not in the budget, as well as prep and painting for outdoor balcony wrought iron railings. They had to reschedule the appointment, which actually worked out better for us. Because of drywall damage from over-zealous wallpaper removal, David came out a second time so his drywall guy could take a look and advise how to best prep for a good finish. He also did extra research on products for the outdoor railings. In between their visits and the time he emailed the quote, he kept in touch with me to let me know that this was why the quote was taking a bit longer. Their price was quite reasonable for the work we need done. Because we have to submit quotes to the Board for approval, I don't know for sure if we will use them, but it looks good. If it's a go, I will submit a report once the work is done.

I challenge you to find a better painting company. In fact, I might go so far as to say I challenge you to find a better contractor. Everything about what they do is professional. They have dedicated staff for project management, estimates, and painting. There are not many full service crews like this out there. Jalapeno is the best.

I have not had the pleasure of working with a more professional, kind, and upbeat company before. Every person I interacted with, no matter now small nor significant the interaction, was an absolute pleasure to work with. The initial pre-work was completed in a timely manner and the email reminders of appointments was a small, pleasant bonus. In my case, my timetable was a seemingly constant shift from week to week, based on work of my contractors (mostly flooring company). Bruce and his team at Jalapeno never once made me feel sheepish (although I did on my own!) or bad; they simply worked with me to update the timing and helped me feel better about the services to come.Nate and his crew did an absolutely wonderful job on all interior surfaces of my home. There was a lot of work to do and it was done on time, in a remarkably clean manner, with great customer relations, especially because I was out of town on business during the approximate 4 days it took to complete. I cannot recommend Jalapeno highly enough and subscribers should know they are absolutely worth every penny.

I contacted someone I saw painting in my neighborhood initially and got a quote and they even came and powerwashed the house. They then never showed up for the start of the job and the phone number I had was disconnected so I assume they went out of business so I contacted Angie's List for additional quotes. By coincidence, Jalapeno was painting another house down the street and I had selected them and 3 others to get quotes. One said my house was too far from their region which was disappointing since it did not say that in their listing. One didn't get back to me until a weeks later since they were on vacation at the time. 2 came to give me quotes. The first one asked who else was quoting and possibly because of that, never bothered to even send me a quote. Jalapeno's quote was within $100 of my first quote so I felt confident it was a fair price. I was changing the color of the house so it required two quotes of paint so keep that in mind when comparing prices. The estimator was on time, called to tell me he was on his way, gave me the quote when he said he would, and explained the process in detail. The crew always called when they were coming or if they had to cancel for rain,etc... I can't say how important communication is to me and they nailed that part of the job. So many people and companies don't have the common decency to keep you in the loop on things. The estimator and foreman asked all the right questions and the owner even checked on the job one day to make sure things were going well. The quality of the work is excellent. Everything I wanted done the way I wanted it done was completed and the house looks great. I would highly recommend Jalapeno to anyone looking to have their house painted or stained.

We received several quotes for this job. Jalepeno was very professional and adjusted their quote to reflect the brand of paint we wished to use. Even though we did not have the siding painted at this time, they power washed the whole house. They also eliminated several wasp hotels during the power washing process. The paint crew made sure to caulk cracks or gaps. Even though we only requested 1 coat, they applied 2 coats in a few areas that showed a lot of wear. The crew was very friendly and did an excellent good of communicating their progress. Overall a very good experience

They are excellent! I have used them for previous painting jobs and was very pleased. I haven't chosen a company to go with yet.
