The gentleman was professional and courteous, but the price was higher than expected. Thus, I chose another company for the job.

Shopping for an area rug for the kitchen. The sales person helped match existing fixtures and showed us many samples and possibilities. Also, was helpful in planning a possible bathroom remodel. The product ordered was delivered on time and met our expectation.

Sales portion lacked follow up. Would have preferred phone call to confirm material availability and installation date & time. Installers were wonderful, they were able to complete the install in time indicated. They matched our existing floors to the new without the use of a transition piece. They also repaired a small section of our old flooring that was not included in our sales consultation. Overall result is beautiful and very happy with our new flooring.

We were referred to this facility by our tiling contractor. The selection was very good and pricing on the flooring was as well. However three years ago we had our kitchen done and we purchased cabinets from a company called Bertch. The quality of those cabinets was better than these. These have some fiberboard in them and the birch ones do not. I realize this was 3 years ago but the pricing was comparable, which surprised us.

We have just used them once. For the most part, they did a good job. The installation was great. They were very quick and thorough and they cleaned up. Their customer service was a little bit spotty but in the end, we got what we needed. Overall, it was pretty good.

.I went into the store needing to get carpet purchased and installed within about 4 days. They met my timeline without problem, only problem is the limited choice of carpets, since it was so quick we could only choose from in stock carpet, and we did have a budget so our choices were really small. The in store rep came across as I was intruding on his day and our questions were beneath him. Thankfully, the install team were fantastic, friendly, and fast. i would purchase from them again but would work with a different sales rep.

They were terrible. They came to look at my situation. I had put in a floor laminate and it was bubbling up. So I wanted to get it fixed and get it flattened out; I didn’t really know what was going on. He came, he looked and he had some kind of meter. I mean this was supposed to be a floor guy, he was supposed to be able to work on the floor. They wouldn’t take the floor apart to see what was going on, I had to ask somebody separate to do that. They also said that wherever the moisture is coming from, I will have to get somebody in to fix it; it is hard, that I can understand. Rather than taking the initiative of making sure that it gets done, they put it all on me to do all that other stuff. Then right away they said that many things needed to be torn out. Let us just say we are not going to have them do anything. We will get to it eventually because we are planning on finishing more area with simulator wood floor stuff. He just said that all he had to do was the whole fall and fix just the boards that were bad, but he wouldn’t tear it up to see what was going on. They didn’t look to repair whatever was causing the problem like putting in some kind of subflooring or moisture or whatever. I didn’t know enough to tell these guys what they were doing; I had to rely on them. I knew a few things like there could be a subfloor. Now I know when they put this in, they clamp the subfloor for the box. To me the bottom line is that he is done and he is gone. Then the lady at the office who set up the appointment called back, I told her that I was told to get all that other stuff done first. The responsiveness was fine, in the sense that they came right out. Their punctuality was good too; they did came when they said they were going to come. There was nothing spectacular about them; I actually believe that it could have been better. I think their professionalism wasn’t there.

We have been working with them on putting together plans for the kitchen remodel but they have not come over to start the work. Their total quote is $50,000. We are not sure who we are going to work with to do this job because we are still talking to other companies.

Their carpet is environmentally sound.

FCA did outstanding. I went to Home Depot, Menards, Lowe's and FCA to compare prices, thinking that FCA would come in considerably higher. Not only did Jim, our FCA rep, clearly understand what installing hw entails (unlike Home Depot and Menard's, who didn't know much, and the guy at Lowe's was just obnoxious in terms of acting like he knew it all), I felt like he clearly had our best interests in mind--clearly giving us pros/cons of the "do-it-yourself" pieces like removing our own carpeting/pad, whether we use pre-finished or unfinished wood, what color we should go with, what type of quarter-round to use, etc. Installers came on time, were professional and did a phenomenal job. The floors look amazing and I can tell an immediate difference in install quality between FCA and the word-of-mouth guy we used to do the first floor some years ago. The installer was so careful and intricate with his work that we were able to return two full boxes of wood because he did such a great job doing/using previous cuts. AND, the original quote was about 10% less than Lowe's, and with the boxes we were able to return was considerably less. You'd be a fool to go anywhere else for hardwood.

Installer Wally was fantastic. He and his father "Wally" worked here for 3+ days, tearing out old carpet and pad taking out all staples from pad and nails from tack strips. They then swept floor before putting adhesive down and screwing 3/4" BC plywood down to make floor level with tile flooring in adjacent rooms. Wally was meticulous in his installation making sure the color of the Armstrong Luxe vinyl strips were mixed so no repeats. He also staggered joints so effectively that it looks like real wood flooring. He installed the product around our fire place so beautifully that no 1/4 round was required around it. If he saw a plank that did not meet his standard he would not use it. We are really happy with the workmanship of the install and would recommend Wally as the installer for your next job Nicole was our sales person at the showroom. She was good but you had to make sure she wrote everything down on the order so there would be no issues. She gave us a fair price and beat 2 competitive quotes. I would do it again with FCA Floor Covering Associates of Naperville.

They were perfectionists and very dedicated to customer service. I will be seriously considering using their services again to install new carpeting.

The sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful. I feel that they did an average job with the installation. The grout that they used originally was bad grout, so they had to come out and re-grout everything again.

Went into their retail store to get an estimate for hardwood flooring purchase and installation. The first salesperson was very rude and did not appear at all interested in working with us and would(could) not answer even simple questions about the hardwood flooring products he was trying to sell. We had to get a second salesman and he was better and took down all our information to get quote on the flooring and installation but he never called with price quotes. I'm not sure why this company is in business if they don't want to quote jobs. Maybe they are only looking for customers who don't care about prices.

Great sales person, everything delivered just as promised. Crew was polite, clean and did an excellent job. When a problem was discovered in installing that they were not equipped to deal with, the right people were there within the hour and the job was finished on time. I got great recommendations on what to buy to achieve what I wanted. An excellent experience.
