Its an older house and the ceiling isnt level in a few spots. We have had 2 other people try and failed horribly. In 6 hours they were able to complete the job that we have been trying to complete for years.

Mark came out to size up the situation and had some great suggestions on rebuilding the steps to make them more stable and user friendly. He also suggested using a white resin lattice sunk a few inches into the ground for the barrier. When he came out to do the job, everything went smooth. We are very happy with the results. Easy to work with and a very nice, and knowledgeable guy. Our 3 dogs really liked him. That was the real test.

Everything went extremely smoothly. Mark was very responsive with the estimate and scheduling the work. He was on time and tidied up at the end of each day. His finished product looks great, and he also gave recommendations for a painter to complete the look.

We love our bookshelves and we are very impressed by Mark’s work. The bookshelves were beautifully done and Mark is a great guy - punctual, professional, and very talented! Would definitely recommend using Creative Edge Carpentry and we will definitely be contacting Mark again for future projects!

Mark was easy to work with. I gave him a verbal description of what I was looking for and he did it exactly as I asked. He was very responsive and communicated really well. He did rally good quality work. The price was reasonable. I am very pleased with what he did and will hire him again in the future. One warning: like most skilled craftsman - he doesn't do things like paint or prime or prep for painting. If you want this done and not willing to do it yourself, be prepared to arrange for that.. I will submit photos when I am finished painting.

We had broken trim around a set of french doors, and some missing baseboard trim. Mark was recommended to us by others in our neighborhood, and he was really responsive when I called and came over within a day or two to take a look. He had some great ideas about how to get everything looking uniform, since we were adding new trim next to the original, 30-year old trim (all stained, so no option to patch and paint over it if there was an error). Also, the french door issue was somewhat complicated and Mark must have spent quite a bit of his free time trying to figure it out, as he texted me before starting the job to ask some follow-up questions so that he could get it just right. He arrived on time, was super professional, and the job turned out absolutely perfect. I can't recommend Mark highly enough!

Mark carefully assessed the work to be done and performed the modifications to the half wall between our family room and the eat in area of our kitchen. He was focused on minimizing damage to the existing wall and surrounding area. He cleaned up as the job proceeded to minimize dust. He also repaired a column on our entry porch. Our 90 year old house needed rotted wood replaced (fascia, soffits and some other trim pieces). Mark was very responsive and accommodating - we needed to add to the job when we discovered more bad wood and he quickly got back to us. His work is top notch - everything cut flush and nicely caulked. Worked efficiently and cleaned up at the end of each work day. We will definitely be using Mark again! I needed to patch a hole in a basement ceiling joist. He has been very responsive through texts from asking solutions for my issue in a basement ceiling joist to scheduling the work. He kindly explained what needs to be done, what he is doing, and what he would do. He is also willing to take a look at and give me suggestions for my other projects. After the work, he cleaned up everything inside and outside. I am very satisfied with his work.

I reached to to Mark about some of my shutters masonry screws were coming lose. Mark came out within a few days, checked out the work and agreed on a fair price. The work looks good and is holding strong still.
