Mark was exceptional. We reworked the scope of work several times to fit my budget and evolving needs as we decided to change our entire plan for the basement. The work he did was exceptional. I would definitely hire him again.

I had 2 brown dated doors from the 80's and he installed my new frosted glass pantry door & frosted glass master bathroom door, which took minimal time to complete. They were both plumb, level, and installed with great care. I am so happy & I am so pleased with my new doors! It made all the difference to the spaces. Mark replaced rotting pieces of wood from a cedar play set. Mark gave us option between using cedar versus pressure treated lumber and the price difference that came with it. Mark also reinforced and strengthened areas he fixed such as the deck of the play set. Mark was easy to work with and we would not hesitate to use him for another job in the future.

We recently decided to finish our basement, and based on the great review on Angie’s List we hired Mark from Creative Edge. Our basement turned out amazing, and Mark was able to adjust to a few changes we made along the way. Mark was always on time and cleaned up after himself each day. Mark installed shiplap on one (pretty large) wall of our dining room. The rate was very reasonable, and he provided a choice of materials to be sure we got the look we wanted, even bringing samples by for us to look at to be sure we made the right decision. I’ve received many compliments on the wall and won’t hesitate to reach out to Mark for any other carpentry needs we have in the future!

Mark did an excellent job. He had a great idea on how to finish the pass through window in our kitchen, and it ended up looking beautiful. We also asked if he'd be able to match the current paint on our closet doors on another unpainted door. He came with a sample and it ended up being spot on! I needed the job done quickly and he was able to get everything done within a week.

Highly recommend! We hired Mark to install baseboards. He did a great job. There were a lot of corners and tricky cuts, and it looks perfect. He's also great with communication and responded quickly to messages. I would definitely hire again. Great work! Thanks Mark!

Mark was amazing. He was extremely professional, followed through on all commitments and did great work. He was open minded and creative in figuring out how to construct the built-ins around our existing fireplace. We were impressed that he completed the project in 2 days and that he left our living room and garage in a cleaner state then when he arrived. We fully trusted him as he had quite a profile of projects and great recommendations. We will definitely hire Creative Edge Carpentry in the future!

We were SO impressed with Mark! When we sent our initial request, he was very quick to respond and let us know that he was out of town, but would be happy to give us an estimate when he returned, and then also included how far in advanced he was booked so we could evaluate if his timing worked with ours. When he came out to give us an estimate, he was quick and thorough and even had pictures of previous jobs to help give us ideas. This was very helpful because I had a general idea of what we wanted to do, but there were a lot of details we hadn't thought of yet. When Mark came to install the bookshelves and replace our baseboards, he was very considerate while he worked and very detail oriented. Everyone who has seen the bookshelves has commented that they look like they have always been part of the house. His suggestion for which baseboard to choose was 100% the right suggestion and we've gotten a lot of compliments. After the bookshelves were installed and painted, the painter was trying to get the doors back on and having some issues. Mark was kind enough to drop by one day and put them back in, which we REALLY appreciated. Overall, we were very impressed and happy with Mark's work. His attention to detail, and the ideas he offered, were wonderful and we are so happy with everything he did!

I had an idea of how I wanted my bookcases but Mark offered several suggestions and the bookcase were even better than I imagined. He pays great attention to detail and his finish work is the best I’ve seen. If you need any carpentry, this is your go-to guy. His prices are very fair.

Marc did an excellent job replacing the garage side door, creatively suggesting to keep the existing brick molding to avoid problems mating up to the older dimension lumber, and knocking out the project in a few hours. Would definitely hire him again!

Mark was awesome from the start. His quote was very reasonable. The quality of the work he did replacing the front porch and steps there was of the highest quality. We had no idea that the end result would look this good. He followed up with the replacement of the molding to a side entrance door to the garage; the wood was bad, but in a short time, Mark had replaced it, caulked it and was ready for his capstone: The house has a rear deck the width of the back of the house. The steps on the one side were weak and narrow, not only bowing slightly when stepped upon, but tightly-spaced between the railings. Mark disassembled the old steps and found that the steps themselves were too narrow and not built properly. He built new steps -- reusing the old bannisters -- even squaring the wood to a slightly uneven sidewalk -- and wound up with another piece de resistance of master carpentry skill. This man is so good that he should sign his work. We would definitely hire Mark again. His work is super high quality. And his prices are very fair.

The time and effort Mark put into this work for my parents is beyond words! Not only did he do an awesome job, he also added handicap railings to normal railing which is making my parents life safer and easier to get into and out of the house through the garage. My parents are 81 and 91 and we are so grateful to him. My parents love his work and how clean he left it after his work was done. I highly recommend him because it shows he cares for his customers and their needs. Mark is worth every penny paid for his professional services.
