Great work!

Mark did a great job. Very meticulous to get everything right. He cleaned up really well after the job was done. The granite looked great after the breakfast bar was removed. He had a drywall guy come in to fix some spots he didn't think looked right. He was able to come up with different solutions when he encountered some difficulties with wiring and plumbing.

We could not be happier with the results. Not only does he do the job, he does it right. Everything he has done for us is of the highest craftsmanship. We will definitely be working with him in the future.

The deal progressed smoothly. I met the contractor to rough out my ideas. The contractor then returned with a complete estimate and verified my requirements. Very accurate. Another things that really made the experience pleasurable was the 'can do' attitude. The contractor would field my questions and was always available to discuss ideas. Additionally, the contractor offered ideas that I did not think of that were incorporated into the final project. The contractor was professional. Arrived on time and stayed committed to the job to drive it to completion. At the end of each work day the contractor cleaned the work area. I have no negative comments about the contractor, professionalism, or price. I will absolutely use this contractor in the future.

Fantastic! He worked quick and clean! Was there when he said he would be, and finish the work as promised on schedule and always within budget. He pointed out details of the job that would improve the overall outlook without increasing the cost. I will continue to use him moving forward.

I was very pleased with Mark's service. Besides a good quality finished product, I appreciated his attention to detail in the process - he was on time to the estimate and work day, used drop cloths and a shop vac to keep the area clean, and made sure to check with me periodically to ensure that the placement was as I intended. The cost was very reasonable, and was on target with the estimate.

It took about a month to finish a 10ft X 10ft closet. Carpenter had many jobs on side that he needed to fit mine between, it causes a lot of delay. Also we had to agree for some additional money for the ceiling closet that supposed to be included in the final price. I mentioned contractor about not to have surprising charges at the end, but he told me that the crawl space closet ceiling was not included on the final price?. I just paid what he wanted so the work can be finally done.

Mark Ceranec responded to our call and came promptly to give us an estimate. He gave us multiple options to consider and showed up on time as planned and completed all projects to our satisfaction. Mark was very clear about what he can do and what he does not. He did not charge us his original quote because he did not have to do what he originally estimated on one of the projects. Mark did this work when it was zero degrees outside. We would definitely call on him again for any kind of carpentry work and would recommend him to others as well.

Exceptional , end result was better than expected

They responded within 24-hours of my inquiry and set appointment. Very helpful in suggesting what would work and showed me pictures of prior work to give me ideas. They created a prototype to approve or change before building the actual mantel. I'm very pleased with the finished product and quality of work. Mark went above and beyond our expectations. In addition to installing our new door, he had to install new framework inside and out and create a threshold where there had been none. This required a few trips to Home Depot for parts and precise custom work. The previous home owner, not knowing what he was doing, had installed ceramic tile and must have put it on top of the previous flooring as it was sitting too high. Our old door also was not air tight and let in the cold air in the winter. Mark did a thorough and meticulous job with all of it. The door is now installed, sealed properly with a beautiful threshold and framing and looks beautiful. All of this at a reasonable price to boot. We're so thrilled and would recommend Creative Edge Carpentry to anyone. My hubby just said, "Wow, this looks like a totally different kitchen!"

Creative Edge did the necessary demolition and then replaced the drywall on the walls and ceiling after the new lighting was installed. The work was done on schedule, and the workers always did a great job of cleaning up at the end of the day. And most important, the finished product looks terrific--no visible lines or seams on the new ceiling. A very professional, capable, and courteous company!

Mark is very good at what he does. When we asked for a quote, he immediately came over. We weren't exactly sure how we wanted it to look, and he was very quick to give us some ideas. It wasn't a full basement, so space was a premium. We told him what the general idea we had in mind and then he ran with it. He was very quick with his quote. Once we decided to go with him, he immediately came up with a schedule and made sure that schedule fit with our timetable. Once the work started, it went fast. He was always making sure he communicated what was next and when he would finish it. Everyone who has come and seen our basement has been very impressed with the quality of work that he has done. It was a great overall experience with Mark. I would be happy to recommend him any time!

Mark kept me informed on his progress and tried very hard to find material that would match my existing trim. He quoted me a very reasonable amount to fix the hole, and then even reduced the quote when he found materials less expensively than he thought he would. Mark also fixed the problem quickly (within a week) and performed the work when he promised to. I would definitely use Creative Edge Carpentry again.

Mark at Creative Edge Carpentry has completed a variety of projects in our basement; a custom floor-to-ceiling wall cabinet and desk unit, wood stair runners, finishing trim work around windows, and cabinetry hanging. He did a fantastic job, clean work and pays attention to details like precision cuts on the crown molding. Mark was very personable and easy to work with, finished the job in a timely manner and reasonably priced. After he finished our kitchen we had Mark back to help add an office in our basement. I absolutely recommend Mark's work and have already told friends about him when they ask for recommendations. We were lucky to find him and will be repeat customers.

Creative Edge built and installed custom cabinets and shelves to flank our fireplace. The work included a very nice custom mantel as well. The location of the built-ins brought extreme challenges because the fireplace masonry is sloppy. Creative Edge saw this flaw immediately, which I had never even noticed. The finished product masks the flaw and looks remarkable. I work from home so they had to work around me. They were quiet and did not leave a mess when they left at the end of the day. They came in on budget and on time which were our two biggest concern, beyond the quality that is. And the quality was extraordinary. I had considered making this a DIY project but am so thankful I didn't. The carpenter from Creative Edge is a true craftsman, (an artisan actually considering the masonry issue). We had a rough idea of what we wanted, but were unclear on the specifics. Creative Edge walked us through the details and guided us through some options that ended up making us love the end result even more (e.g. reeded glass doors with soft close mechanisms). My wife and I would highly recommend Creative Edge to anyone looking to do a home improvement project. We are very pleased with their work!

I had several problems communicating with this man, including the fact that he mistakenly gave me a price for one more door than I had, then tried to get me to pay him the same price for the project with one less door. I went back to the company that referred him to me, and they assured me that he does excellent work, so I decided to go ahead with the project. When the doors came in I scheduled it two weeks out because it took that long to clear a whole day in my schedule. On the scheduled day, nobody showed up. I called around and left messages at his business number and cell phone. Only after I left messages did I get an email from him saying that he ended up not having anyone available to do my job because of a problem on another project. He asked if we could reschedule at my convenience, except that they were working on another project and wouldn't be available for at least a week.

He did something for my friend and she was very happy with it. He promptly returned my phone calls and he was here when he said he would be. He did a nice job. His flyer said that he would do basement framing, drywall hanging, installing doors, deck repairs and demolition work. It also said that no job was too small. He was very nice and honest about what he would do. I had no complaints and I would use him again.
