The movers arrived before the appointed time and were very professional and prepared. The cost and time came in under the estimate and the dispatcher returned my call promptly despite this being a very small move. I would highly recomend and plan on using this company for any future moves.

We called several movers. This company called us back quickly. They were the lowest cost of the quotations and they were able to come to our need the next day after we called. They did the work well and quickly. Nothing was scratched during the move. I will use them again in a heartbeat if the need arises. Tim Nacey

These guys were great. We rented the truck and they did the rest. They showed up exactly when they said they would and got right to work. We had them moving mostly just the furniture, so it was a lot of heavy items. Our house has a lot of stairs and it was over 90 degrees and humid that day, but they worked for nearly five hours straight without any complaint. They loaded up the trucks and we drove them over to the new place where they unloaded everything and moved it into the rooms as we directed. They were conscientious about not walking on the carpet from the outside after it rained. They also did a very good job of wrapping everything up so that it traveled well without damage. I would definitely recommend these guys to others.

They moved quickly and carefully. One small incident was corrected on the spot. Overall, a very nice job and nice people.

I was thoroughly impressed with the speed at which the movers got the job done. Especially since I was charged by the hour, I thought they would take their good, old-fashioned time but they were flying up and down the steps with furniture on their backs. They took great care with all of our items and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Would definitely use them again; plus they were by far the least expensive out of the quotes I got.

It went well. They were efficient and did a good job. They came on time and they had a lot of furniture to move and they did it almost in the time frame that they thought they could get it done. They were a little over timing so it cost us a little more than they had estimated, but not much more. We were pleased considering how much furniture we had to move.

Gary B. and Robert A. were great. They were on-time, cheerful, and diligent. Some of the corners were tricky and tight. They had to remove a door from its hinges at one point -- disassembly and reassembly only took a few minutes. They were very careful and wrapped everything, even for such a short distance of travel. The service was excellent and I would definately recommend them.

A relatively small but semi complicated move (pick up items at two locations, 1 in burbs, 1 in city, then move to a third, which was a third floor walk up!). They arrived on time, did the work, never complained, worked hard and were very pleasant. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat if you are looking for a good value with good quality service.

Called Two Men And A Truck (Gurnee, IL) to move TV entertainment center from ground floor level to basement. Two Men And A Truck was the only local mover that I was able to identify which provided a one-hour minimum ($105 per hour) and therefore they had a superior price for this small job. To prepare for the move, the crew wrapped only the face of the entertainment center with a blanket and left the sides and back of the unit uncovered. Plastic wrap was applied to the unit to keep the blanket in place. The goal was to move the unit through a family room and down a flight of stairs to the basement level. Unfortunately the crew misestimated that size of the unit and the opening into the basement. They were unable to make the turn at the bottom of the stairs and as a result the unit was damaged somewhat. The unit was then returned to its original location in the family room. I intend to file a claim for the minor damages.

I cannot say enough good things about Two Men and a Truck. James and John arrived on site and immediately went to work. They were courteous, friendly, and worked VERY hard. They moved everything that could be moved, even items I was afraid they couldn't take because they were either to big, too bulky or items I didn't have time to pack. They communicated well with me if there was ever a question of if or how an item should be moved. Upon arrival at our new home they again immediately went to work unloading and were great about asking where boxes should go in the house. Excellent service and worth every penny.

The two workers arrived promptly and began assessing the needs without delay. The workers were very courteous and conscientious of protecting my furniture and walls. Never did they complain. They continually asked if there were any more needs and responded positively with "no problem." Most importantly they were very conscious of time since their billing was based on it - I was very pleasantly impressed.

They didnt move everything because I left some stuff at the home in Lincolnshire. It was about 2 bedrooms worth of stuff and some boxes in the basement. Overall I was pleased.

THEY GOUGED AND SCRATCHED THE HARDWOOD FLOORS WHEN MOVING FURNITURE IN. THEY HADN'T COMPLETELY EMPTIED OUT THE OTHER HOUSE EITHER. NO ONE HAD RUN THROUGH TO MAKE SURE IT WAS OUT. THEY HAD TO COME BACK THE NEXT DAY TO MOVE IT. THEY SEEMED A BIT OVERWHELMED BY THE MOVE. THINGS WERE HAPHAZARDLY DONE. A FEW THINGS DAMAGED BESIDES THE FLOOR.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. WORKED QUICKLY- DIDN'T WASTE ANY TIME. HAD A FEW MARKS ON WALLS & DOORS WHEN THEY WERE THROUGH, BUT NOTHING SIGNIFICANT.

THE MEN WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, AND EFFICIENT. THEY WERE CAREFUL AND DID NOT BANG INTO ANY WALLS WHILE MOVING THINGS AROUND. I WISH THEY WERE CLOSER, AS YOU DO PAY THE SAME RATE FOR TRAVEL TIME AS MOVING TIME, AND THE TRAVEL TIME WAS 1.75 HOURS FOR THEM TO GET HERE AND BACK.

THEY WERE ON-TIME AND POLITE AND MORE REASONABLY PRICED THAN A COUPLE OF OTHER COMPANIES I CALLED. HOWEVER, THE CREW ACTUALLY BROKE TWO PIECES OF FURNITURE. THEY DIDN'T HANDLE THINGS CAREFULLY. AN OLDER CHERRY DROP-LEAF TABLE NOW HAS TO HAVE THE HINGES REPLACED BECAUSE THE LEAVES MOVED AROUND TOO MUCH WHILE BEING HANDLED. AN ANTIQUE TREADLE SEWING MACHINE HAD A PIECE BROKEN BECAUSE IT WASN'T SECURED BEFORE MOVING. SO, I NOW HAVE TWO PIECES OF FURNITURE THAT NEED TO BE REPAIRED. I WISH I'D HAD THE FORESIGHT TO POINT OUT THE PIECES THAT NEEDED MORE CAREFUL HANDLING. MAYBE THEY SHOULDN'T BE EXPECTED TO REALIZE THIS? BUT I DID SEE ONE MAN CARRYING TWO ITEMS AT A TIME VERY CASUALLY WHICH ISN'T THE WAY TO DO THINGS. BUT, I SHOULD HAVE PROVIDED MORE SUPERVISION ON THE ACTUAL HANDLING.

THE MOVERS SLIGHTLY 'DINGED' THE EXTERIOR LARGE UPRIGHT FREEZER AND THE DRYER. IT WAS A MINOR COSMETIC ISSUE, NOT WORTH FILING A CLAIM OVER. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON THEIR SCORE IS NOT PERFECT. THE CO. CHARGES BY THE HOUR, AND, THEY DID NOT WASTE ANY TIME. THE MOVERS MIKE & SEAN WERE EXTREMELY COURTEOUS.
