Description of Work: Their cost for general opening or closing of a system is about $75.00, but I needed some sprinkler heads to be replaced. Otherwise, I would never be seeing such a high bill from them. I've used them since we put our sprinkler system in about 25 years ago. They are reliable and that's what I want.

We also have used their services to repair our outdoor low voltage lighting system when needed. They have responded promptly to our requests and provided great customer service.

Description of Work: American National came out to give us a quote to put in an irrigation system and control box for your very large large with several beds. The gentleman was very knowledgeable and they use high quality products. However, their quote was almost DOUBLE the next closest bid. We received bids from 4 companies, including 3 from Angie's List. All other bids were within a few hundred dollars of each other and included the same layout. Two of the 3 used products that were of higher quality. If you decide to use Am National, we had every reason to believe that they would do a great job. But, they are really expensive so do not waste their time or yours if you are not prepared to pay a premium price.

Description of Work: I have previously used this service with good results. My rain sensor wire broke and I needed it repaired. In the past, when my rain sensor had mis-functioned, my sprinkler service would not turn on. I called for an appointment and was told my problem was not an emergency and could not be scheduled for 3 or 4 weeks. I tried to get a faster appointment without success. I then called another sprinkler service and received an appointment in 2 days. This service came, as scheduled and repaired the problem.
