I think that this company has always taken good care of us. We enjoy working with them, and I'd recommend them to others.

Josh worked with us to decide which zones were no longer needed so that we could maximize the current system without overwatering un-needed areas. The crew is very efficicient and neat. They got the job done in a day. They cleaned up and left only blue flags where the new sprinkler heads were - so I would know. They do a great job estimating needed water coverage and have always been very professional. The office staff is very pleasant and professional.

While digging a hole to plant a tree, my landscaper severed an irrigation line and a main wiring line. We turned off the irrigation system and called American for repairs. It was in the afternoon, very hot (in the 90's), and the first repair appointment we could get was 1&1/2 days later. We had just finished 2 weeks of installing new sod, bushes and flower beds with at least $20,000 of plant investment. We did not want to risk losing plants. After making several calls to the company VP and president, we found someone who knew the company president. We did get a crew out at 12:00 the next day.

They are excellent and professional.

Excellent communication and follow-up

They did this in one day. The disturbance to my lawn was minimal. I have a rain gauge in one of my gutters and it signals the timer in my garage whether or not to turn on the sprinklers. The watering takes place in the early morning hours

We decided it was too expensive to go that route. The experience was good. They were nice.

We were considering installing a new in-ground sprinkler system. We also asked them to give us some quotes on outdoor lighting. Our experience with them was great. The person who came out was very polite and good with the follow-up. He was a good listener and he seemed to understand what we were looking for. They had sent us a follow-up quote a couple of months ago.

American National was responsive to my initial requests and then again when the city did repair work along our street and yet again when we put in new landscaping. Each time there were changes in the yard, they came out and for reasonable fees adjusted the spacing of the sprinkler heads in a timely manner. My only concern has been that most of the employees do not speak good English, so it has sometimes been hard to convey my wishes to them accurately, but usually someone who comes out speaks a little better than the others.

I think they are great. They were very thorough, friendly and accommodating. They did the job in an appropriate amount of time. They did a great job putting the lawn back together. Everything is working properly. They gave a follow up training session with the system afterward.

They installed it fabulously and they have proven to be very dependable whenever I have had a problem over the past twelve years.

The quote seemed a little high at first. However, when comparing the estimated number of sprinkler heads that they included in the proposal, there was a HUGE difference compared to "cheaper" estimates. Their fall incentive (discount) resulted in additional savings.

They installed a sprinkler system on our quarter acre lot. American National came with tons of references and were very professional and responsive. The only issue I had was that they did not inform us that we had to contact the village for subsequent inspections (they handled the permit).

They were on time, on quote and good service.

Very prompt and on time and extremely thorough in his education on sprinkler systems. However, my situation was a bit more complicated than most. So, after recommending that I have the drywall removed from my finished basement and have the fence removed (as the opening was not wide enough for his machine to fit through), then he offered a solution that was a bit unethical. To avoid the necessary permits needed by the city of the Chicago, he wrote in the contract, that the job be performed on a Saturday. And, after offering a solution that would be less than desirable. He called back a few days later with another solution that would allow an "illegal" system to be installed in my yard that would later need to be removed if I sold my property, as it would not pass inspections. I guess he was a bit desperate for the business not to be honest with me. Very discouraging as my first experience learning about irrigation systems.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT COMPANY TO WORK WITH. THEY PROVIDE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, KNOW THEIR PRODUCT WELL, AND ENSURE THEIR CUSTOMERS END UP WITH AN EFFECTIVE, GOOD QUALITY SYSTEM.

WE WERE QUITE PLEASED WITH THE PROFESSIONALISM OF THE COMPANY, THE PROMPTNESS AND THOROUGHNESS OF THE EMPLOYEES, AND THE PATIENCE OF THE COMPANY WHEN WE HAD QUESTIONS. THE PRICE FOR INSTALLATION WAS VERY ATTRACTIVE (WHICH IS JUST A ROUGH GUESS OF WHAT WE PAID WHEN IT WAS INSTALLED A YEAR AGO), BUT I AM NOT SURE ABOUT THE SERVICE PRICES.

THIS COMPANY WAS RECOMMENDED BY MY MOTHER-IN-LAW, AS IT SERVICES HER SYSTEM AS WELL AS HER NEIGHBOR'S. I FOUND THEM TO BE VERY PROFESSIONAL -- THEY EXPLAINED ALL OF THE DETAILS, TOLD ME WHAT WOULD BE HELPFUL FOR MY YARD (AND WHAT WOULD BE A WASTE OF MONEY), CAME ON A SATURDAY TO INSTALL IT AND ON A SUNDAY TO SHUT THE SYSTEM DOWN FOR THE WINTER. I'VE BEEN VERY PLEASED.
