Pablo & Manny came out to fix a break in the line late on the Sunday that the neighbors caused while putting in a fence the prior week. It was about 5PM and they were pleasant and knowledgeable. The first line they found wasn't the leaking line so they had to dig further and they just kept going. Everytime, I've had an issue, American national has been great. Thanks

I use them every year for the closing of the sprinklers and the opening of them.

They are always on time. They perform the job according to what they say they are going to do. The people and staff are friendly. I can leave my door open and allow them to come in. The same people have worked there for a long long time. So, when I'm opening my sprinkler systems it's usually the same guy year after year after year. It's the same thing with lighting. They are very good. They are very customer oriented. They usually offer you a two hour window if it's not an emergency and they always come out within that two hour window. They are very professional.

Service is good, they're on time. They call ahead of time to make an appointment. They show up pretty good. There's a lot of times I get guys that don't speak a lot of English, it's a problem. They installed it, everything they put in gotta have some warranty so why would I look anywhere else. That's the way until they screw me up, I'll stay with them.

The service was excellent! I've had them for 6-8 years now. They are very professional and reliable. If I have an issue which I normally don't, but I have a lighting program with them where when a bulb goes out, they come out and replace it with no charge. They are usually out here in a little while so it's not like I have to go chasing after them. When I call them, they are always very nice there, they are very in tuned to what my concerns are, they follow up on that, and the service techs come out and they are very professional. I don't know if there's anyone else that does what they do, and frankly I think their prices are fair.

I have been working with them for many years and they have been first class- good work that tends to be a little expensive but absolutely worth it.

The very last time they were here a few weeks ago was free, it's a program we take on annually. They're very qualified, they're very good at it, and they're experts. I wish I payed less but I'm happy with the service. They're always here when they say they're gonna be here.

For the most part, we've been satisfied with them. I think they've done a good job and they've done what we've expected them to do. A sprinkler system is not rocket science but they did install it too and I think they did a pretty good job in installing it because it worked fine. They had an annual charge for maintaining the lighting system and I didn't feel it was necessary because the bulbs that go in there I can buy at the hardware store so we never use them to service that at all but they work fine. The bottom line is this is their specialty, they seem to know what they're doing. Our system has worked well and the service has been good. The only reason I won't give them an A is that there were some sprinkler heads they didn't locate when they came in here to locate for me. It's something that they should be able to do and that was such a minor thing. I don't think they're the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I call them to schedule an appointment, they said they'd call back and they did.

They did a wonderful job and we are very pleased with the system. They did such a great job of patching our grass so that you couldn't even tell!

I called the owner, Bruce because there was $200 extra on the bill for repairing our controller. First they said that we needed an $800 controller. My husband called Bruce and asked them to check it out before replacing it. When they came out, they said it was just a cord. We were billed $10 for a cord and $200 extra for labor for replacing some gaskets that had not been discussed with us. When I called Bruce, he was extremely rude and condescending and asked how I could have the audacity to call and question the bill. He said they have 8,000 customers and that I should go somewhere else. He kept talking over me and talking louder and louder and was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. My husband said that the cord was not replaced, it was the same one that was on there before. I am using another contractor and would stay away from them. I see there are other reviews that said he treated them the same way, so it was not a one time instance.

They did a very good job. I liked what they did and they have been maintaining it ever since. I think that they are reliable and are a good company. They install lighting as well.

The shut down went well. Although this spring, the drain valve where the water line comes out of the building was cracked and leaking upon system turn on. I can't say for sure it was their fault, but who knows...My biggest gripe took place over last summer. I recently moved into this house and I did not know where the system water control valves were buried. I called the office and explained my desire to find out where these valves were. I was told that the only way to find out was to have someone come out with a sensing device and locate the valves. Sounded logical. The person also suggested that since I was not having a problem at this time, that I wait till fall for the shut down and their service guy would come out with the sensing unit when he came out to shut down the system. This would save me the cost of a second trip. Also sounded good. Well, I waited all summer and when they came out in the late fall for shut down, the service guy had no sensing unit and no explanation. I had been assured two weeks before this visit that the guy coming out for shout down would have the sensing unit. I called the office and spoke to the same person as earlier in the summer. I was now told that the shut down guys don't do valve locator work! So I wasted a whole summer waiting for fall to have my zone valves located and nothing got done. The person on the phone did not even offer the smallest apology or anything. It seemed like business as usual. I was pretty mad.

They were on Angie’s List. It was very good value for what they did. They were pretty good but there were a couple of things that I didn’t like. It’s minor and it’s done over with. They did a great job. I thought their price was good. I will use them again if I had to.

Two workers came and checked out the system because we said it did not work. They tried to run water through the pipes and located one old pipe which had been corroded so that water could not get through. We were satisfied to have the problem analyzed. We have not decided whether to use the system, so that was all we asked them to do. They were friendly and cooperative; their English skills were sufficient.

They have always been punctual, professional and hard working. We would definitely recommend them.

Beware. I spoke with Bruce, the owner, about a billing issue, and I was treated in a completely antagonistic, hostile, and unprofessional way. In addition to not listening, interrupting me several times, and talking over me, he said things like "I'm wasting my time to talk to you" and seemed to indicate that he was generally annoyed by his customers. I told him that he would be losing me as a customer, but he didn't seem to care. He said "nice talking to you" and hung up. It was surprising to receive such poor customer service from the owner of a company. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I encourage you to do the same.

When they originally installed my sprinkler system it was the best job I had ever seen. The quality is good, the controller burned out. I have no complaints about them.
