Advanced Fence & Gate

Todd arrived to measure and find out what I wanted promptly. Then returned a detailed bid and plan within 2 days. Lead time was about 5 weeks, as promised. Crew arrived on time, tore down the old fence and installed the new in one day. Great clean up after the job. I didn't care for how one post was done, so I contacted Todd and it was replaced the next day, no question.

Todd was very prompt with responding and scheduling the appointment. He came prepared for our request with pictures and some description characteristics of the wood that we may want to use. He impressed us with using his ipad and electronic equipment to measure the area. He brought to us a colored picture and later sent us the xls list of all jobs that the company performed over the years. We wanted to install a horizontal fence, which he said they are experienced in. He seemed to be quick with getting an idea of what we need. However, the quote that was sent to us had another design than the one that we discussed. This was surprising, as quotes from other companies were much more closer to our plan. As a result, we did not go further with hiring. We may use them another time.

From beginning to end this company was professional and responsive. We received several estimate from various fencing contractors, including others on Angie's list. Advanced Fence and Gate, unlike many others, was on time for the appointment and sent the various requested estimates right away with a list of references. They returned all of my calls and e-mails asking questions in a timely manner. Unlike many contractors I have used, I never had to "chase" the company to get my questions answered or schedule the installation. The installation went very smoothly and the quality of work was excellent. The installation was supposed to take up to two days. However, the crew stayed late and finished it in one day; which made life much easier with my large dog. I would highly recommend Advanced Fence and Gate. One of the easiest companies I have ever dealt with.

I had 4 companies come out with an assessment and consultation. They stood out for their honesty, professionalism, and price. They also had great brochure to help me make a decision. After committing in had to get permit from village and then called them. They came out promptly, ahead of schedule and were on time. 3 workers came out and only needed me to set them up with power outlet and water access to mix concrete. I had to go to work and did not require access to bathroom or house at all. When got back fence was up and looked great. We used red cedar.

Went well. Two workers came, removed all the fallen fence on one day and completed the fence on a second day.

Todd the owner came and gave me an estimate. Was professional and the estimate was professionally done. Anytime I called the office I was greeted by a Rachel a professional also or if I had to leave a message I received a prompt response. I was having concrete done along part of the fence I was having installed and they worked with the concrete guy so that both looked fantastic. Since we have gotten a lot of rain this year, if I was told they were going to come on a certain day but instead ended being rain delayed trying to complete another job, either Todd or Rachel would call to inform me of the change. The fence was installed. The installers were great and I have received many compliments on my new fence. I love it and I recommend this company highly!!!!

A new garage meant we had to also have a new fence. We got quotes from two Angie's list listed fence companies. Both quotes were similar but what swung it for Advanced is that Todd listened to our ideas, made suggestions based on what had in mind and came up with a nice solution. It was after thanksgiving when we got the fence put up which may have made scheduling easier but Advanced got the fence up within days of us getting the permit from the city. Installation was quick and the Fence looks great. (even after last winter).

He was on time, professional, welcomed questions, followed-up via email and price provided was inline/competitive with other bids.

I did have a 7-week wait from the time of deposit to the delivery of the fence, which was an aluminum fence. My neighbor, who used the same company had a wooden fence installed, which they did right away. On the day of installation, the contractors who came to tear down the old fence and install the new one completed the entire job with two gates in one day. They worked tirelessly, even through some light rain. They were very courteous and did an excellent job both with installation and the cleanup, which was perfect. My neighbors were impressed too! Afterward I discovered that one of the post caps was missing. I called the company and within a day or two, it was installed. I would highly recommend Advanced Fence to anyone. Everyday I enjoy the look and function of my new fence and how it has improved my property.

It was very good. What stood out was their response, their workmanship, the materials, the people they had and just everything. Nothing could be better. I went through several quotes and they were among the better, but it was also the service that they provided. He may be coming out here again to do some additional work.

I had no problem setting up an appointment to get an estimate for replacing my old fence. Robert came out to give me an estimate and time frame for the work to begin. He promptly returned my calls to answer a couple of questions I had about the job and the estimate. After I sent in the deposit, they called with a start date sooner than I expected. The day the workers started it was had rained and was drizzling. They were very professional and they would stop to ask how the gate should swing or show me where they were going to put the dirt from digging the posts. I was very happy with how they worked and cleaned up the area. The fence looks great.

We were able to easly schedule a time for them to come out. There were on time and worked with my wife to come up with an estimate. It was a little bit higher than we wanted but have not had the work done by any company as of yet.

Todd put our fence in in 2009. The frost and ice had moved three of the posts. He sent his team over at no charge and made everything look brand new. This guy is absolutely first class. I also would like you to know that in 2009 we interviewed 5 providers and he was the most professional and at the best cost out of all of them. We hired him and we were so impressed! They came in and installed everything with his entire team in one day. It's good to know that there are people like him around who truly care about his customers.

Todd Kopke provided us with a quote and we hired Advanced Fence on the spot. The pricing seemed resonable for what needed to be done, and Advanced Fence has a high rating on Angie's list. They arrived on time on the scheduled date and did a fantastic job! The workers were knowledgeable and efficient. It was a wonderful experience. We will definetely use them again as needed.

Wow Todd and his team are great. We were the first install of this season and let me tell everyone that they did a great job. His crews were on time, professional and asked questions when they arose. They didn't mess around they arrived and got to work. They even cleaned up everything each day. Can't say enough good things about them. My only suggestion to Advanced is to remind customers to obtain a survey from the city, as I forgot to.

They did exceed my expectations with the quality of the work. They did it in a very timely manner. They didn't damage anything while they were doing it. It was a positive experience. They were referred to us by another company that wasn't able to do the job when we needed it done, and they were able to do it. They finished it before winter came and that was a plus. Their availability at the time was good. The price was a little on the high side.

Scheduling was easy & efficient. They allowed us to get our own permit, which cut the cost. They came on time & completed the work in one day. We hoped to call them to return to fix a gate that was slightly crooked leaving a gap, leaving a gap that we didn't like. They offered to come back & fix it but failed to show up on day they said they'd come. We had to call. Then they came as planned another day & fixed it satisfactorily.

Met with Todd for estimate. He is nice and professional. He sent estimate by email. His price was competitive with other estimates I got. Installation went well. No issues with the whole process.

Estimate was in the range, but what I liked was their responsiveness up front and making sure I got what I wanted. When the team came out to install the fence they were courteous and efficient and did an excellent job.

Todd, the company owner, came over to give me an estimate for the fence I was envisioning. Our yard was already partially fenced, but we needed it completely fenced to contain our small children and our dogs. We talked over what I needed, and he had an estimate for me pretty quickly. The price seemed great for the work that was to be done. We scheduled the work for a couple weeks later. I wasn't home the day the guys were there, and one detail of what I had asked for was not done. Other than that, the fence was beautiful. I spoke with Todd over the phone to discuss the area that should have had a gate that was instead just solid fence. He said there was some miscommunication with the men that were doing the work that day. But he offered to come out later in the spring and fix the error, for free! I also called Todd a little later to come help me fix a latch on the gate that was in another area- the door had swung shut in the wind and the latch had bent backward. Todd came over and replaced the latch. I would hire Advanced Fence and Gate to build fencing again without hesitation. Great customer service and follow-through make such a big impression, and I will always spread the word when I have received excellent service.

Installed vinyl fencing. The office staff could be more responsive to voice mails, otherwise they did a very good job onsite.

They installed a difficult double gate for me and I couldn't be happier! The entire process was awesome from estimate to completion. Great company, highly recommended.

From the initial phone call to the installation, everything was handled professionally. I am very happy with the finished product, and feel that I got great value for the money.

This company is excellent! The price was good and the workmanship outstanding. They built the fence on site. Superb attention to detail, including custom caps on posts. Cleanup was very good too. We would (and will) definitely use them again. Thank you to Todd and the crew!
