Brian and Sons was professional, knowledgeable, very friendly and punctual. I would highly recommend their services.

after several phone calls, we were told that their technician called the office before and after and was clocked at 2 hours. Although we saw the technician for less than one hour. Estimatation should not be of charge, so we thought. We paid for $125 for labor and only to receive a phone call on 12.26.13 by the company stating that if the rest of the $125 is not received in 2 hours, the matter will be turned over to collection agency. No other words were given to my staff. So, Brian and Son received total of $250 for less than 1 hour work. It is not a company i would work with in the future.

The result of the diagnostic was that the furnace needed cleaning, and they billed us an additional $89 to clean the furnace. They did send 1 person. I did expect him to check the heat exchanger, but he didn't do it because he didn't have the right equipment on his truck and he didn't volunteer to come back at no charge.

Brian showed up late but called first to let us know. When he got here we told him that we had an air flow problem and that some vents blew hard and others barley trickled out air. After inspection, he adjusted some dampers and told us that our duct work was a mess and that we should have them all fixed but it would be really, really expensive to fix. He advised us that he could come back sometime and fix one portion of the duct work and would email me a price for fixing it. I asked him questions but he was trying to be funny and instead acted like a smart a**. I told him my bedroom closet was really cold and he told me "How much time do you spend in the closet?" Not cool. A couple of hours after he left, the whole house was worse than it was before he came We called him and asked him to please come back as it was freezing in my son's room. We ran out and bought a space heater in the meantime. He told us he could come back but had customers with bigger problems. So, we called back to reschedule and the soonest he could come was 10 days later. I got a second opinion the guy readjusted all of the dampers and said that the duct work was not necessary and that Brian was trying to scam us out of more money. When we canceled the appointment, they didn't ask why or what happened. I don't mind paying to clean the furnace, but the rest of the service should have been free because it wasn't fixed, it was made worse.

Annual plan to clean the furnace and A/C unit. Cleaned the furnace and very happy with their professionalism.

Cleaned ducts, dryer vent and furnace. Very professional and spent a lot of time doing the job correctly. Showed me what they were doing and what they did. Very happy with their work and will continue to use them.

Our furnace went out and pilot light wouldn't stay lit. I called at 7:30 pm and by 8:15pm Dan showed up and saved us from having to sleep through the night without heat. We will def use them again! A++ to Dan for walking us through what caused the issue and how we can prevent future problems.

They were very professional and extremely easy to work with. They were here for almost 12 hours for all the work they did, and after they left you would never have known they were here except it probably looked better than when they arrived. They were meticulous in cleaning up after themselves, and instilled my trust in them. I have worked with another HVAC company, and by far these guys and lady were more trustworthy and lived up to a high standard of professionalism.

We have been very happy with the whole process. They are easy to work with and professional. We got several quotes and they came in the best. They are very knowledgable and helped us when the city inspector said we needed extra venting to pass inspection. That cost another $300 or so but I don't think it was their fault, but just a fact of living in Aurora and dealing with their rules. They called several times during the process to make sure everything was going OK and completed to our satisfaction. Very nice people.

It took two technicians approximately two hours to complete the work. They were on-time and explained what they were doing. The service helped make our system run more efficiently. They seem friendly and knowledgeable and I would recommended their service to others.

They were prompt, professional, and helpful. The original estimate they provided confirmed our suspicions and showed us the cost of the repairs. Then on 8/20/13, I called the office for more specific information regarding the specific type of repairs that they found on the day of the estimate. The woman I spoke to was very accomodating and answered all of my additional questions. Ultimately they helped me make a very important decision that ened up saving me a lot of money. They were very truthful and honest. When the time comes for me to need any repairs completed when i do find the right home i'll be calling Brian and Sons.

They’re very good and come when they say the will. It’s a Mom and Pop business and when they come out we find them to be very friendly, professional, honest and thorough.

They’re extremely honest, efficient and clean up well after themselves. They’re not pushy about selling us unnecessary services. They explain everything very well. On this most recent visit we weren’t quite ready for the filter so we went ahead and purchased the filter from them and he showed us how to install the new filter. They offer very competitive pricing. We had used a different company who had considerably higher prices. Their quote was $2,000 less than a competitor and Brian and Sons offered a higher quality unit than the competitor to boot. We have noticed our heating and cooling bills have have done down. We would highly recommend their services to others.

Sometimes, because we have the annual service agreement with them, they will send coupons, which we appreciate. When we first moved in they installed a humidifier. They’re very professional and are always on-time and we would recommend their services to others.

They did a good job. He was professional and honest about the costs involved. The quick fix got our unit up and running and lasted until we replaced the unit. I would recommend their services to others.

They were very prompt for the estimate appointment and the install. Debbie is very knowledgable and willing to answer all questions from those mechanical minded like me. She scheduled the install right away and showed up on time. The installer was very professional and asked where I preferred the equipment be placed. He explained what he was going to do and asked if I had any questions. The install is very tidy and looks very professional. He cleaned up afterwards and left no mess. I am an engineer who has installed a few systems myself and am pretty critical. I will use them again if needed!

I paid $85 for them to come out to inspect the air conditioner, it was on a Sunday, 7/21/13. The next morning the girl in the office, I think her name is Debbie, called to let me know they had to search for the special part I needed. Brian did come out and he charged me another $172.50 for the part. The previous day I asked the repair man what the part would cost and he said the part cost about $40. I called the office and they told me they were charging me about $50 for them having to go and pick up the part because they did not have it in stock and also for driving out again to my home and back to the office. I really felt I was overcharged. I did call other heating and air conditioning companies and they said they do not charge the customer for driving to pick up a part if they don't have it in stock. They were prompt but like I said, I needed the air conditioner fixed and it was hot and I believe I was over charged. The air conditioner is working fine, their work was efficient but they did take advantage of me. I will not use Brian and Sons again in the future.

Almost immediately after getting off the phone I received a call from Eric asking if he could come over. He came over, changed the broken part, and was very attentive to making sure that everything was running smoothly AND cool before he left! The price is around or below average for this type of repair. When our ac unit finally goes, we will be using Brian and Sons.

My home warranty service provided Brian & Sons as the service provider. I called them, told them my problem, and they offered to arrive at the house that afternoon. They were prompt, very courteous and he fixed the a/c within an hour. He explained everything he did, what needed to be done in the future and said they would call to follow up to make sure the unit was still working. To my surprise I received a thank you letter earlier this week. I will be using this company for all my hvac needs in the future and will tell all my friends and neighbors. Thank you Dan!

I knew I was going to have to get a new furnace and AC, so I was prepared. I am happy that I upgraded to this type of furnace. The house has never been so consistent with the temperature, and unless the fan is running on full speed you almost do not hear it. My electric bill has actually decreased between 5% and 10%, and the gas bill has only gone up by about $10.00. I bought this is January, so we have had the consistent amount of cold days to see results. Brian and Sons cleaned up the whole area they worked in when they were done, took away all debris, and went through step by step how the new system works. Yes, I had to pay more with the upgrade in the furnace and AC, but so far it has been worth it.

Brian was responsive to my request for service and showed up in a relatively short timeframe. He and his crew came out for service 3 times in about a 2 week period. The first visit, he diagnosed a bad thermostat which I replaced and was not the cause of the problem. I had given him a debit card to bill the service call price on. The 2nd and 3rd visit were much more costly in parts and labor hours, and were charged to my debit card without any notice or explination of services performed. After 3 visits, boiler was still not working properly, come to find out it was out of water because of a valve that was not left in the proper postion by his crew.

Brian & Sons has been in business for over 20+ years and since we have built our home in North Aurora they have provided serviced to our home for the past 5 yrs. Their work is excellent and their service technicians are very professional. I would recommend them to anyone that needs their Furnace or Air Condition serviced. (*Price: with their coupons for each time it is 98.00 and without about 140.00 which is still a good price for excellent service.)

It was fine, they did a good job! They are very personable and honest. They did a quick assessment of my boiler also. Generally efficient, and completed the work rather quickly. We chose the toilet we wanted and they were good at locating one that matched our criteria. The price was reasonable.

It was quite excellent. I would use them again!

When you call them, you are actually talking to them and if you call them for an emergency, they will come immediately and take care of it. They are really, really reasonably priced! I would highly recommend them! They are seriously an A+ company!
