Beverly Garage Doors

We had been having problems with our garage door and bought a deal to balance our garage door, add lubricant, and replace the bearings/wheels. Even though the company had sold a great many of these package deals, they were very responsive and professional when scheduling an appointment. The guys arrived on time and went right to work. They discovered that one or two springs had broke and that is why we were having problems. For an additional $150, they replaced the two springs while they were there. The door has worked great ever since. I would use them again.

I purchased a big deal for $85 for Installation of Keyless Garage Door Entry Pad and Safety Inspection. They were prompt and the job was done within a hour. They adjusted a couple things on the garage to be sure it was functioning properly, etc. I also purchased two garage door remotes for $30 each. I would definitely use them again; especially because they live in the neighborhood.

I called at 8:00 in the morning and my garage door was being repaired by 10:15 the same morning. Service was prompt professional, friendly and reasonably priced. I have aready recommended Beverly Garage Door to coworkers!

Called in the morning and Beverly Garage Door was out the same afternoon and within an hour replaced the broken spring. Had no issues finding the place like some delivery persons do. Good sense of humor. Would and will recommend them to my friends in the neighborhood of Morgan Park Beverly!

Everything went well, but it turned out that I already had a keypad, so the garage door was checkedand lubricated and I received an extra door opener for my car.

Pleasure to work with this outfit. They were prompt, polite, efficient, and they got the job done for a lot less than I had expected. I had placed a call to their main line and ended up having to hang up before I could speak to anyone or leave a message(my issue, not theirs). I purchased a foreclosed home so I wanted to make sure all worked well. the adjusted and and made sure the garage door and springs were where they should be and replaced the rollers to quit the door when going up and down .

Now our door doesn't hop off its tracks. They also gave us advice on replacing our garage door opener. We purchased via an Angie's List deal.

My old garage door was in terrible shape - a pulley had popped off and some bolts had sheared through the metal. John responded to my email within an hour and set up an estimate/inspection of the old door. They were very honest in telling me it was possible to repair the old door, and this was much appreciated, but I chose to buy a new door in addition to a new opener to replace the ancient one that was currently in the garage. The price was very reasonable, they used quality products, and they were always prompt and professional. The work was done well and completed quickly. I am very happy with the new door and opener.

Recently moved into an older home without the keyless entry we had enjoyed previously. Saw an Angie's List offer on Tuesday evening for keyless entry at some very reduced rate ($89?). Snapped up the offer and emailed the guy that night. He called next morning to say he was available and he came right over. He installed the keyless entry in about 15 minutes; I said, hey, we are missing a garage door opener, any clue what you do about that? He said I'll program a new one for you. $30. I had also mentioned that I'd been able to program my car to open one garage door, but not the one with the missing remote control. He said, I'll program your car. Wow, what an accomplishment (for me personally) to get that all addressed in 20 minutes and so inexpensively. Made my day. Very nice guys, too.

John was awesome. Although informed initially that it may take a few weeks for him to get to us, we got a call a few days later and set up a time for the coming Saturday. Unfortunately, my wife and I did not communicate well - I thought she had given John my mobile number and I slipped away, expecting his call, which came to our home phone! So John showed up on time but we weren't there! He was very understanding when we spoke afterward, though, and came right back the following Sunday (!). I was waiting for him, full of apologies but he just shrugged it off and completed his work, professionally and very courteously. Bottom line: John is my garage door guy!

Everything went very well. John was late based on the original appointment but he called to let me know that he would be late. He was on time based on the new time we agreed to.

Extremely pleased. They were punctual, knowledgeable, quick and thorough.

I had backed into my garage and hit a sensor. I thought it was worse than that because the garage door wouldn't stay down. I'm on a main thoroughfare so it was important to me to have it done immediately. I'm expecting I need new rails and new doors, I already transferred money into my checking assuming the worse. They came and looked at it and said they were going to realign the sensor and since my door was old they were going to throw in new rolls for the rails and that's all I needed. They said they would give me the rolls for half price because I was on Angie's List. That was beautiful. If they would have told me I needed new rails or rolls I would have gotten it but they were honest. You appreciate when someone in the business treats your fairly and honestly, I would tell anyone to go to them. They could have made a lot more money on me because of my ignorance on the trade. They didn't worry about that, they worried about doing a good job and only what was needed and throwing in something extra because I called from Angie's List.

We called in the morning and the repair was done that afternoon. The problem was diagnosed, I was shown the broken part, and I was told how much it would cost to fix it. It was repaired immediately and an adjustment was made to help prevent it from breaking again. I was pleased with the prompt service . The garage door opener is working fine.

I purchased a special deal via Angie's List for $490 for the installation of a new Liftmaster 8550 garage door opener, new rollers and a tune-up on Monday, 16 April 2012. I received a call from Beverly Garage Doors the next day and arranged for the installation to takeplace on Wed. 18 April 2012. They arrived about 3 hours after the arranged time, but called twice to tell me that they were running late. The workmen were very professional. They completed the installation in 45 minutes. This included removing the old, broken garage door opener, the installation of the new Liftmaster, new rollers and an outside keypad. They showed me how the new opener worked, and had me set the keypad code. I was very happy with their quick response and quick installation. I would recommend this company to my friends.

The service was excellent. While he did initially forget the appointment, which was on a weekend, when I called he did come right out, and apologized profusely. The work was done professionally, and I would recommend Beverly Garage Doors to anyone looking into service needed.

Our garage door was very noisy and didn't stop properly when it was opening (it would hit the top and bounce back a little). John called about half an hour before he got there, and arrived on time. When he looked at the garage door he immediately noticed that one of the springs was broken, and offered to replace them. He had exactly the springs we needed in his van, so there was no need to wait. Afterward he fixed a wire that had come loose (which was causing the issue with opening the door), replaced all of our metal rollers with nylon rollers, lubricated everything, and installed a keypad. He programmed the keypad to work with our garage door and demonstrated how to change the code. He obviously knew what he was doing - all this work took only 45 minutes and was well done. He was more than willing to let me watch and patiently answered any questions I had. :) Our garage door is significantly quieter now, and opens/closes much more smoothly. It's a huge improvement! We would definitely contact John for future garage door work.

They were right on time, despite traffic and got to work immediately. In addition to doing all that they were supposed to for the Big Deal, they also made some additional adjustments to make the door work more smoothly, and programmed the garage door opener in my car (which I hadn't been able to do since I bought it) at no extra charge. They were in and out in less than half an hour. And they were nice to my dogs! I will definitely contact them again if I have problems with my garage door or when I need to replace it.

The gentlemen who came were intelligent and friendly and did a very professional job. I can easily recommend them to anyone who needs their system serviced.

Beverly Garage Doors had an excellent rating with Angie's List and numerous people in our area had sent in raving reports on them. Decided to call on April 30th and this was late in the afternoon. I left a message and within 30 min. received a return call from John. I told him that one of the springs on our garage door had broken. He stated that once one spring breaks it is customary to replace both springs as they usually last 8-10 years and if one goes the other is soon to give out as well. He quoted me a price of $180.00 which included the cost of the springs as well as labor. We scheduled for Jim to come out the next day May 1st between 11:00am and 12:00pm. Jim called and left a message on my cell that he was on his way and was here just after 11:00am. He was very personable and impressed me as being a very kind man. He knew his stuff and within 30min. he had our garage door working and the quietest it's ever been!! When the time comes to replace this door you can be assured that I will be calling on Beverly Garage Doors to do the work!! I would not hesitate to hire them
