Called on Saturday, and they were available on Sunday morning to make the replacement. Showed up on time and got right to work. Took no more than 30 minutes from start to finish. I had a 2 car garage door, but the original spring was for a 1 car garage. John made the recommendation to install 2 springs, which would cause the motor less work. Additionally, John was able to point out ways in which I could extend the life with minimal DYI maintenance. Also came with a 2 year guarantee on the labor and parts, which I think is rare in the industry. Took advantage of the Angie's list discount of $30, which made this one of the better price garage door fixers.

Answered the phone (did not have to leave a message) and scheduled an appointment for the next day after I called. Called when he was on the way as promised. Arrived and serviced the garage door for the price agreed on ($99) and recommended the wireless keypad for $25. Was extremely happy with his services, was on time, did more than expected and the garage door is MUCH quieter!! Would absolutely, and have already recommended.

I live in Florida and needed a garage door and opener replaced on a property I own in Chicago. I found Beverly Garage Doors on the list (first time I used it for an out of state property). To say that I was pleased with the service, price, professionalism, etc. is an understatement. The price was fair, the technician arrive on time, the work was done in a professional and courteous manner, and they cleaned up after they finished. Beverly is now my preferred garage door company when I need work done in Chicago.

Service guy came over and replaced the ball bearings in the door frame. He also reset the timing mechanism on his own and now the garage door runs smoother, quieter and doesn't stall like it had been doing. Great guy.

It was fine. I think before he came out, it was a little bit more of a distance that he;s probably willing to travel. He was very helpful. He helped us set up our garage door opener system and it went fine. When I bought the big deal, he called me after a couple of days. We scheduled the time. He was very prompt and we had it done. Everything was fine. I would absolutely use them in the future.

He did not try to oversell me on anything, in fact, I was the one to ask about a new opener. The work was scheduled for the following week and was performed in a timely and professional manner. They even asked me if I wanted my old keypad moved to the smaller garage door to provide access thru that door. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend them.

Our garage door opener had become very touchy, not wanting to close, and we needed another garage door opener. I used a Big Deal from Angie's list to purchase both services. John called the next morning to schedule and came out not only on time, but half an hour early and he called to verify. His knowledge of openers and electric was terrific and he has made our garage door opener operate almost like new! We were very pleased with Beverly Garage Door and John in particular and would easily recommend him again.

Beverly was professional, punctual, quick and reasonable throughout. The service tech gave me a full training session, which was informative for the consumer. The tech did not struggle with any of the diagnostic or install. He was friendly and not frustrated. The tech's van was a bit beat up looking, but don't judge a book by its cover; the Angie's List reviews were right. If you want it done right, quick, and for a fair price these are great guys. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
