John was great! Very friendly and polite. He worked quickly and was very professional. He explained all the features of the new opener and trouble shooted all of our issues with our openers. We would gladly work with him in the future.

We were contacted promptly and arranged an appointment which was convenient to both of us. John arrived on time and examined the garage door thoroughly. He replaced all of the rollers as per the Big Deal, and also determined that the pulleys needed to be replaced as one of them was actually pulling away from the garage wall. He also adjusted the spring tension to balance the door and the safety pressures of the opener so that it won't close on someone or something. He also lubed all moving parts. He did a great job in a timely manner and brought our older garage door back to like new. It opens and closes quietly and efficiently, and the price for the work was great. We would not hesitate to hire him again.

It was fabulous. I bought the deal on 10/24/14 and John called and said he would be in the area on 10/25/14 if I was available. I was so shocked i was able to get next day installation. He came at the time he said. He said he could fix my old opener at a cost saving to me. It was quite an old opener (from the 1970s) so I opted a replacement. The installation went quick and I could not be happier. I will be using John and Beverly Garage Door for all my future garage needs.

They were very responsive in terms of scheduling the service after we purchased the deal. They showed up on time and diagnosed quickly what additional items were necessary to fully repair the garage door. The additional repair items were inexpensive and fixed a noticeable problem with the garage door. He also replaced the rollers, per the deal I purchased. All of this took less than 30 minutes. Very professional, very quick and very nice. Great provider overall.

The estimator called was over within 3 hours after contacting the company through Angie's List. He was going to give us a repair price, but we asked him to replace the garage door and opener. The installers were 1/2 hour early on the day of installation and completed the work in the estimated time. The installers removed all old equipment.

It was easy to make the appointment which was within scheduled within a day of my initial call. John was delayed on a call prior to my appointment so he was not prompt, but he did call when he knew that he was going to be late. I give points to service people that have the good sense to call the homeowner when they know they are delayed. He easily diagnosed the problem and the repair only took 20 minutes. With an Angie's List coupon, the total bill was $80. John was friendly but appropriately businesslike. I would use his service again.

The whole experience was very positive, from setting up the appointment to getting the job done. Jim came out for the estimate and quickly determined what I needed for the repair and gave me some good options to have glass windows installed at the same time. I thought the estimate was fair and we set up an appointment the next week to have the job done (the garage door was only dented, so no rush). They showed up as scheduled and were very professional and courteous. I was delighted with the quality and completeness of the job they did. No problems at all! I was rather surprised a week later, though, to receive a refund check for $20. Turns out there had been an error on the estimate, and I ended up being overcharged. Very few businesses would refund the $20, especially when the owner doesn't realize they've been accidentally overcharged. I'm even more pleased with Beverly Garage Doors, and appreciate their integrity. Highly recommended!

John emailed to set up appointment and it worked out perfectly with my schedule. A few days later I emailed him about another issue I was having with my garage door. I had a battery backup which was no longer functioning and I asked him about possibly fixing it or should I get a new opener. He quickly looked up the manual for my opener and thought it could very likely be the battery pack and said he had one in stock and he would bring it the next day for the tuneup appointment. He communicated with my very well via email and on the phone. He said if the old opener was working lets try and fix it. He called the next morning letting me know he was on his way from his last job. He arrived on time and came when I had several other contractors working at the same time. He quickly changed out the rollers and balanced the door and made adjustments to it. He installed a new battery backup module and that fixed that issue. That only cost $80 for the part and he did not charge me extra for labor! That was a very nice surprise. My garage door is now very quiet and working well and I have battery backup working again. I am very pleased with the service John gave me. He was professional and very personable and seemed to want to get the job done for the lowest cost. I will call him again for anything to do with my opener or my garage door. I will recommend him to my friends.

This was my first purchase on Angie List, was not sure how it was going to go. They called me and got a little info about what was the problem and a date to have service done. We agreed on Sat, and I was told he would call me Saturday morning to let me know what time they would be out. I decided to call them Saturday morning to make sure they were still coming out. It started out scary because he asked for my name and address and said he did not have me schedule. I immediately got upset and told him I knew you would forget to schedule me and that I paid for my services on Angie's List in advance and I want someone to come out to my address today and I hung up the phone. He called me back and apologized for the mistake, they had used the address that I used to pay for my purchase on Angie's List, which was not the address I was having the worked performed at, I was schedule and he told me that he would be at my house within the hour and he was. My garage door had take a turn for the worst by the time he came to do the tune up. The door hinges had buckled and the cable was wrapped around the roller and the hinge up top had pulled away from the wall and I was like how much more is this going to cost me. He told me that he would replace some of the rollers instead of all of them and use the rest of coupon to fix all the other problems with the door for the same price. He also programmed two garage door openers and a wireless keypad that I had already had. I give them the highest rating ever, very professional and polite. I will refer them to others and will call again when needed. Keep up the good work!!!!

I called on monday and we were able to schedule something for wednesday. He called to say he was running a little behind and gave me an estimate of his arrival time. His estimate was right on and he was only a little late. We all run late some of the time. All I ask is a phone call to let me know so I can plan accordingly. So thanks for that. Anyways, he and his cute little dog Einstein showed up and we examined the door together (well, Einstein didn't. He stayed in the van). He verified his initial suspicion that it was a broken spring and he got right to work. It didn't take very long and the garage door now works. It was $90 (with the $30 off angie's list coupon). He was fast, knowledgable, and friendly. I will definitely call this company again when the other door's spring breaks (only a matter of time).

These guys were nice enough to squeeze me in early the day after I called them on a saturday over Labor Day weekend. Installed my new door in about an hour and hauled away the old one. Did a good job.

My garage door opener stopped working. I thought it was shot. I was fully prepared to buy a new one, but Beverly Garage door repaired and upgrade my current opener at a fraction of the cost.

Called on a Sunday thinking I would be leaving a message as they do not have hours on Sunday, but was surprised when I was able to contact someone and was able to make an appointment for Tuesday (more convenient for me). Quoted price on Sunday was consistent with what I was charged on Tuesday. Called prior to arriving as promised and completed the work quickly and done right the first time. Very pleased with this company - highly recommended to anyone who needs any kind of service on their garage door.

I purchased the deal and within an hour I was called and he came the same day. I wanted to replace the weather stripping on the bottom of the garage door at an add'l cost. After he inspected the weather stripping, he did not think a replacement was needed because when he adjusted the door it would come down a little bit more. The end was chewed up a little but not enough in his opinion to warrant replacement. He rotated the stripping and adjusted the door and it looked fine. He saved us the add'l cost of $3 to $4 a foot extra. He replaced the metal rollers with the new nylon rollers and we noticed the reduction in the noise (lowering and raising) immediately. He also oiled the garage door. Gave us tips when the garage door is painted in the fall. We were very happy with the service and his honesty.

Excellent. Replaced defective Chamberlain Direct drive door opener with Professional chain drive Liftmaster opener. Price and service were Excellent. Extremely pleased!

They did a great job. I called because my door was not opening properly. it was determined and I was showed that my opener was completely cracked and needed to get replaced. The owner came 2 times because the first time they did not know the extent of the problems and needed to order a new opener. He was very thorough, on-time and responsive. He replaced the opener and programmed my other remotes. Great job, would use again. thanks

It went well. They were timely and it was good. They got the job done in about 3 hours. They sent one person out to do the job. The scheduling was fine and they were responsive.

John Wiedow (of Beverly Garage Doors) had previously completed a repair & tune-up for us and was a pleasure to work with. Therefore, when we decided to replace both of our garage doors, we decided to work with them again. To get the ball rolling, I called and spoke to John Wiedow to set-up an appointment date. He arrived promptly on the day of our appointment to inspect our current garage and to walk us through the whole process. He looked things over, helped us sort through what we wanted / needed, and provided a written quote on the spot that was fair and competitive. On the day of the install, John's partner (Jim) and another crew member arrived. They did a nice job of installing both new garage doors and everything else that went with it - ( i.e. door hardware, sensors, motor, keypad, door opener, etc ). The thing that I particularly appreciated was that they did a very nice job of cleaning up after themselves, which was extremely important to us - ( right after doing a quality job ). At the end of the install, Jim noted that the door sensor for our smaller garage door seemed to not function correctly - (even though it was new). Jim immediately called that day and ordered a replacement part. A few days later - (after the part came in), John Wiedow called to make an appointment to stop by. He installed the sensor, fine tuned a few things, and both garage doors now work like a charm. We couldn't be happier. In summary, both John and Jim were fantastic to work with and they did a really nice job. We would definitely choose them again in the future.
