Description of Work: John Weidlow was pleasant and professional. Initially contacted him via e-mail. He called back and answered questions readily. We discussed possible appointment dates. He was sensitive to my concerns and promised if it could not be fixed he would not start the job. We agreed on an appppoint for Saturday, Jan. 12th. Beverly Garage Doors/John Weidlow arrived on time, was pleasant and was able to diagnose and correct additional problems with my garage door. He provided an estimate & when I agreed completed replacing the spring & cable & installation of an installed & free standing remote control! He completed the job quickly & reviewed the project, programmed the PIN and provided instructions on how to operate the PINpad. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the work as well as his professionalism. I have trust in the company & would use them again!

Description of Work: We had purchased an Angie's List deal with this company. They contacted us immediately to perform the work (replacing the rollers and keypad). They were quick, professional and even set the garage door opener button in my car. They were fantastic and we would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Full maintenance review of the garage door. Replaced the stell rollers with nylon ones and reset the signal. I bought an additional 2 new remotes ($30 each) that went beyond the $99 service deal. Very good experience.

He called me that same evening to talk about the problem (malfunctioning door opener) & scheduled the appointment. They came out in the appointment window they stated, did the job quickly & charged a fair amount. I would use them again.

Description of Work: John Wiedow and employy showed up promptly at scheduled time. My garage door was working properly, but since it was an old door I wanted to take advantage of their offer to readjust springs and install new nylon rollers. I had opted for another remote door opener rather than a keypad opener. They worked efficiently and left after installing and adjusting cables and springs. All went well fr a few weeks when, on one day, the door did not close correctly . . got jammed on way down . . some rollers came out of channel. I was able, with help from my wife, to force the rollers back into the cannels. All was OK for awhile when last week one of the rollers started coming out of the channel. It was easy enogh to put back in, but this started happening more frequently. I called Beverlty and they came out quicly (today 12/20/2011) and spent some to time again adjusting the channels and "clamping down" the channel where the one bottom roller was popping put. I believe the first tiem the door came off the channel it "opened" the channel on one side enough suck that the roller now started to come out more regualrly, but not both sides as happened the first time. They did not chanrge me "this time" . . I believe if I have to call them out again they will charge. I am not upset about this unless the same problem occurs again. Overall, I am, at this time, very satisfied with the contractor.

Description of Work: Replaced large garage overhead door. Recommended an up-to-date style that we like a lot. Installed the door efficiently and explained how we should care for it. Was able to refer us to another workman who repaired the garage door frame, which was necessary before we could have the door replaced. Definitely satisfied with Beverly Garage Door in Merrionette Park.

Description of Work: They repaired a garage door that had not worked for us for many years. They also gave us new controllers and new cables.

Description of Work: Service was done on two garage doors. Replaced metal rollers with new quiet white nylon ball bearing rollers, Lubricated all hinges, bearings, springs and open rails. Checked for spring tension and tracks for proper spacing. Checked all hinges and tighten where needed. Checked and adjusted safety pressures of openers to make sure they reverses on contact and adjusted infrared sensors for proper alignment.
