Everything turned out very well. Their pricing was very reasonable and they were prompt with completing the job. They were quick and efficient. They also edged the yard at no additional cost.

I have used Hoy Landscaping for my complete landscaping needs for over 5 years now, including routine maintenance, selection of new plants, annual flowers and other services. They have always performed top notch service at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them for all of your landscaping needs.

As far as I can tell, they are pretty good. They cleared the snow off in the front part of the home, in the stairs, walkway up, in the front drive, and the side drive. They cleared all the way up to the garage. They seemed to do a pretty thorough job. In warmer months, they do lawn and yard work in the spring, summer, and fall. My yard looks good. They trim the shrubs and mow the lawn, and again they do a pretty thorough job.

They came as a team of workers, the owner trimmed the tree and bushes by hand, did all the work as stated. Placed all waste on their truck and hauled everything away. Everything was done as agreed upon and yard looked great.

A great experience from beginning to end. I worked with Ward, who was punctual, knowledgeable, and listened thoughtfully to my concerns and needs. I received three estimates/proposals before selecting Hoy. Ward developed a detailed landscaping plan that was creative, well-organized, really thorough, and responsive to my concerns. I could not be more pleased with the final result. Hoy was not the cheapest option available to us, but not the most expensive, either. The chance to work with Ward, who holds a degree in landscape architecture, was well worth any extra cost. At the end, I was particularly pleased with the spacing and scale and balance of the entire project -- these are important aspects of landscaping that I don't think I could have achieved without his help. Finally, the work team worked quickly and efficiently, and did an excellent overall job implementing the plan. A+

I had a great experience with the company. The contractor came out and gave me multiple ideas for landscaping my front house. He drew up some sketches to show me dimensions of where everything would be place. Brought sample pieces of bluestone for designing the walkway. He originally told me that it would take two separate days to have everything finished, but the crew did the job all in one day! Really impressed with the work and afterwards I received follow up information on how to maintain the bushes such as watering schedule. Overall all I was very happy, good experience.

Overall, This process was easy, just what I was looking for.

I saw them in the neighborhood and gave them a call. They seem to be pretty thorough. My husband was not really happy with the way the mulch looked afterwards. It seemed like they used little more mulch, other than that they were fine.

I don't know about prices for their weekly service, but I only used them for a one time lawn mowing for a relative. I called to get an estimate, Hoy was able to come out and call back with a price within a couple of hours. I was in a crunch to mow the lawn. Hoy's ability for same day service won my business.

I spoke with Jim to get an estimate to provide lawn fertilizer treatments at my home. He said he'd come by the house and provide a quote, but did not get back to me. I left a second message asking for the quote a few days later and never received a call back.

They do a great job starting with their account manager, Jim. He is responsive with estimates and very nice to deal with. Not to be brash, but it is a bonus he speaks English when trying to communicate regularly. I have used them for a variety of issues and maintenance around the yard. They always do a great job. Snow removal I added this year and man, I am glad I did. The only thing I don't like is the two-shovel minimum you get billed even if they don't shovel. They call it a state of readiness.

They had a great design and they were efficient and timely. I think their pricing was a bit high. I would recommend them to others for the design.

They were expensive and I think it was $40 for each grass cutting session. I thought that it was pretty high. The quality of their work was good. It was as good as any of the other companies in the region. Everybody in the neighborhood uses one company or another and so they are around here all the time. They are one of the top companies. They have got a large fleet and they have a supervisor that makes contact and takes responsibility for the work. He has a crew. They do a wonderful job but I just think that it is expensive. They may be competitive in terms of price with everybody else. They are right on the top when it comes to everything else except for the price. They are very customer oriented. I would definitely consider using their services in the future if I am unable to get the work done myself.

The fall cleanup was a little disappointing. They did not do as much as I expected them to do. They were off schedule a bit because of the weather. Overall, they are a good company.

The work they did was great and we are pleased with the results. They were very good about being communicative and their responsiveness to our needs. We would use this company again in the future.

Everything thing was completed in one day. The grass looks great and so does the patio. Hoy left detailed watering/fertilizing instructions which were very helpful in maintaining the grass.

They came when they said they would come. They cleaned up nicely after themselves. They got all of the work done in one day. I have since referred them to someone at work and she has also been happy with them.

The yard looked completely better when they were finished with the fall clean-up, and they really took their time to get it right. They are very good, and they are very reliable.

Everything went very well and we are very pleased with the result. They gave us some very good suggestions on things that we could do, and we really appreciated it.

It went very well. He was polite and designed a flexible landscaping plan with options to work in our budget. The work was completed in the amount of time as they promised.

We will wait and see what the service is like in the event we need it--but so far I was pleased. I will send an up dates if needed.

They arrived at 8:30, removed the yews and nearby brush, and removed all of the debris, filling the back of a pretty large truck. It took them 3 hours; they left the ground completely clean and raked.

Very disappointed. Substantial amount of money; poor results. Lost half of that which was planted, at least. White Hydrangeas have not blossomed yet. Lost 10 of 12 Astilbe; 3 of 5 blue Hydrangeas; all Rudebekia. That which did survive is now over planted; some transplanting has occurred. Result: $300 Blue Globe Spruce died w/in 1 month, Red Japanese Maple suffered root damage when a Spirea was moved; it also died. Asked how to replace the Maple; their response: "We'll give you a break on the price of a new one"; haven't heard from them in over 2 weeks. Had to replace the Redbud they planted 3 yrs. ago. They were happy to provide a new one at my expense; two trees, 3 years, $1000.00. In my opinion, this company is not interested in customer satisfaction, but instead, their profit. Emails have been ignored; communication appears to be a low priority. The stock they install, not plant, is suspect, as well. I've seen much better at different nurseries in the area.

The contract setup took a bit longer than I would have liked but eventually the work was underway. The office follow up was slow however, and I did most of the communicating. Workmen did a fine job and the lawn looked great. Very little personal follow up from Hoy upon completion. Now 8 months later, we are having trouble with powdery mildew build-up on the lawn and a recent call to Hoy has left us very frustrated with their customer service. Dan could not quote their so called "guarantee on labor and materials." He did not ask how he or the company could make this right for us. Finally, we asked would he at least send someone to possibly treat the lawn with a needed fungicide. He was vague about when but said he had stopped by the house to see the lawn and confirm it was mildew. Well, duh! He offered to email the "guarantee" info but at this writing, it hasn't arrived. He was also very firm (and rude) about saying "I will NOT resod the lawn." We did not ask for that, just help.
