Description of Work: They had to come out four times to complete the job in accurately, but they did and they got it done! They power washed the deck and painted it and replaced 3 feet of one board on the deck that needs replacement. It took some time but I got responses to all my emails eventually. Bottom line the job is done is done well

Description of Work: They came out when they said they would. The work was finished on time.They were very pleasant ,and cleaned up after. The project certainly improved my home. I feel that it also was a good value. I will hire them again for my next project. I would recommend them!

Description of Work: The original services contracts were not needed. Thanks to the integrity of the workers, they didn't simply proceed with the work. Instead, they placed me in contact with Gordon and we worked out other arrangements that exceeded my expectations. Great team that ensured only work needed was performed. I'd highly recommend GR General Contracting

Description of Work: The day he arrived, cleaned/washed deck and removed loose paint with putty blade. Was told he would be back in a couple of days when the deck was dry. He came mid morning (no call) the next day and proceeded to begin painting. I stopped him and told him that the deck needed sanding as was advertised. He had to leave to go get a sander, he did not have one in the truck. Nice kid, but the work was average. I had to add a second coat myself. Deck looks good now!

+ 1 moreWhat an outstanding experience. A friend knew I was looking for a reputable handyman and recommended GR. The owner Gordon Rudd came out the next day and gave me a quote. It was exactly what I was looking for. Even better...they could start within a week! Originally I had only thought they would power wash and repaint the deck, but in the end they sanded, primed, stained and sealed it. It looks absolutely amazing...like brand new. Installing my attic ladder was very challenging due the small opening, but they embraced the challenge and customized to fit my space. I could not be happier with the end result. They were professional, in budget, on time, kept me informed and carefully explained everything they did. We are already discussing some other small projects I'd like to have done soon.
Description of Work: I needed a handyman to repair a couple sinks, install an attic ladder and refinish my deck.

They paid extreme detail to each task and went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with the end result. They made great suggestions and truly took the time to consult with me and were remarkably patient from start to finish. They completed the project on-time and in-budget. They even went above and beyond to do some minor things that needed to be done without adding to the overall cost of the project. Truly the best contractor experience I have ever had. All work was done exactly as discussed and quoted and with an AMAZING attitude which was truly remarkable. From the outstanding workmanship, great recommendations, keeping me consistently informed of the progress, and returning my calls promptly...I can honestly say I have had never had such a positive and enjoyable experience working with any other contractors.
