Adam's work and his knowledge are beyond superb, I was just awe-struck at his thoroughness, candor, polite demeanor, and genuine willingness to make sure that my softening system was working properly. As importantly, he did the extra little things that were necessary to make sure that I had an understanding of how the system operates. I am thrilled at what we accomplished today. I really want to share a very important story with the general public. This story was not solicited. I just believe that quality work should be honored, and Adam does ultra-quality work for his customers. I first met Adam about 18 months ago when he came to see my neighbor who was getting quotes for a whole-house, replacement water softening system, I just happened to be in my neighbor's drive way when Adam arrived, and I just followed him around because I am curious by nature. I was fascinated by his knowledge and caring attitude. I learned a lot that day. Anyway, about a week later I asked my neighbor how his project was going to replace his softening system. He said he just had the new system installed, but he did not choose Adam's Water because he had received another quote which was slightly less (and I do mean it was slightly less). Now here is what has happened ... since then, my neighbor has had nothing but complaints about his new system. The complaints range from the system not softening properly, to using way too much salt. I hope my point is helpful to the reader of this review ... a softener not working properly can damage thousands of dollars of equipment in the home. The process was simple. Adam did the eval and his two man team did the install a week later. They were right on time, took less then 90 minutes to complete the job and were polite and clean. Once again I used Angies List to provide me with a solid recommendation that was 100% on the money

Great service from first contact to installation. The issue was diagnosed promptly and replacement options were clearly explained. The servicemen arrived and on time and did the install efficiently. Very impressed with the products and the service. Nice to have soft and odor free water!

I was told by Adam, the owner, that the installers, Jason and John, would arrive between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m.. They were here at 9:15 a.m. By 9:45 they had the old softener removed and the water draining from our system. By 10:15 the new softener was in, being tested, put thru its cycle and the old softener was out of the house. They explained operation to me, which was very easy to understand, gave me the manual, made sure I knew where the name of their company along with the phone number was on the label. They picked up every piece of material that was on the floor and then double checked for their tools or garbage and left. Both Jason and John were very professional and polite while they were here. In fact they washed the floor under the old softener and brine bin before they installed the new one. These two young men really knew their business. When I had gotten my price quote from Adam I had asked him if they could leave the old brine bin outside so I might use it in my rain water collection or some other gardening use. He said sure and then asked me if I would like more of the old bins free of charge. He said he hated to just put them in recycling, so he had the installers bring me 4 more bins. I think that is a great way to recycle and reuse. I would recommend Adam's Water Treatment company to everyone.

Adam is highly professional and was familiar with systems I had in my home. We got a quote which was reasonable and his employees came and did the install. They were prompt and very efficient and left the work area clean. They removed the old unit and explained the new setup thoroughly. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Let me start by saying that Adam saved me about $3000 by being honest about the state of my water system. I had had a competitor's system installed to address odors when we moved to our house ten years ago, and had fallen a bit behind on maintenance and had never had the carbon unit rebedded (recommended every 5 years or so). I was finally able to afford it, and had the (previous) maintenance company come out to get the process started. They explained that they were trying to move everyone off of the system I have because the technology has improved, the carbon filter was bigger and would last longer between rebeds, and so on, and gave me estimates for "good" (keeping the system but performing the carbon rebed and regular maintenance - $1200), "better" (replacing most of the components of the system - $2700) and "best" (replacing the entire system - $4000). They made it sound pretty convincing that it was worth upgrading, and I was considering it. Then my mom found Adam's Water Treatment here on Angie's List and suggested I give him a call, just in case he had any better options. Well! Adam returned my call within an hour and offered to drop by right then to take a look at my system. It turned out that was more than familiar with it; he had worked for the competitor for 25 years and actually designed it. (He had even performed the annual maintenance on it at our house one year, too.) He walked me through each and every component to tell me what it did, how it worked, what could go wrong with it and what kind of maintenance it requires, and he explained why the new system the competitor was recommending was not actually going to be an improvement. He said he would be happy to upgrade my system for me too if I really wanted to, but it really only needed the carbon rebedding and $75 in parts to get back in tip-top shape. When I asked about pricing on the carbon rebedding, his quote came in almost $300 less than the competitor's for the exact same thing. I asked him on the spot when he could start. Adam didn't have everything he needed in the truck that day (I had only called him for quotes after all, and hadn't even expected a call back until the next day!), but he took care of the RO filters and membrane on that visit and set up an appointment a few days later to take care of the rest. On that day he arrived on time (a few minutes early, even) and took care of the rebed and the pump repair. He was professional, courteous, and was even nice enough to answer my 4-year-old son's non-stop questions about what he was doing. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable with my knowledge of the system and that I knew what to expect from each component in the future. Best of all, I really feel like I got treated fairly. I'm embarrassed that the competitor took advantage of me for so long, but I'm so glad to have found a place I can trust from now on.

Adam provided first class service from start to finish. Adam and an associate came out on a Friday to inspect my water softener and determined it was shot. Adam was extremely informative about the issue I was having and the importance of replacing my current softener with the best long term option. He provided me with options that he could provide and gave me a very honest assessment of what his competition could provide. He was able to return after the weekend and replace my broken softener with a brand new one. Over the weekend I had done research on other models and other providers and saw some pretty scary reviews about less expensive (and lesser quality) softeners. Everything Adam told me appeared to be true and his price for the replacement seemed fair. The installation took less than an hour and Adam was as nice a person to work with as you could possibly ask for.

Adam was punctual and seemed very knowledgeable as to my unit and what was the malfunction. He recommended a new unit and the unit was installed within a week and everything is working fine. He recommended a better salt product that I was using and I can see where it will help avoid future problems like the ones that I was experiencing. All in all it was a smooth and efficient resolution to my problems.

Adam was on time and very friendly & helpful. He knows the area very well, and share a lot of background info which was helpful, since we are new and from New England. I hope we don't need to use his services again for a while, but he will be the person we call when we do :-)

Adam was easy to work with - from scheduling, to following up and being on time. He was friendly and not looking to sell services but to actually give good solutions to fix the problem. We just moved into a new home on a well. We ended up having iron bacteria and the iron contents in our water was high. He checked the water softener and it was not working. He made sure it was running for us. After doing all of the tests - he gave us clear options and people to call in order to fix the problems we are experiencing with our well.

I had an iron filter from Culligan as part of my water filter system with a softener for my well. Cullingan had serviced the iron filter and told me that my water softener was "pitted" with iron and that if I continued to experience problems with iron, I needed to replace my softener. I continued with iron problems so I went to Angies list and foound Adams's. Adam and Jason came out and assessed my water. They told me I had iron bacteria and explained what needed to be done to correct the situation. They gave me two options and explained how each functioned and gave me literature and diagrams. I researched the information and talked with a friend who has an ozonator for their well and decided on the system I would use. I scheduled installation with Adam. Jason arrived on time, installed the unit, cleaned up and made sure I understood how it operaterd and what I needed to do to care for the unit. They made sure I understand maintenance and when I will need to service the unit. They made sure I know that I can call eny time with questions or concerns. I no longer have the iron problem and had I followed Culligan's advice I would have bought another softener and still have the problems. I am extremely satisfied with all aspects of my purchase at this time.

Great guy, came by and diagnosed problem which turned out was unrelated to water softener. Did not charge me. Will definitely use for water related issues in the future.

I needed my softener replaced asap. Called Adam and he gave me a phone quote based on my area. This avoided the water test and the hard sell one usually gets in their home on this type of product. A little research on the intranet told me I was getting a fair deal. Adam was able to supply and install the unit the next day. We've had the softener for a week now and it works great. I chose Adam for 2 reasons. He gave me a quick quote and he could install it sooner then anyone else I spoke with, and his rating on Angie's List is very high.

Adam was very prompt when returning my husband's call. He met with us within 1 week to test our water and discuss what filtration we wanted. Adam was very informative and gave us a lot of information and pricing so that we could make an informed decision about what filtration was best for us. It was simple to schedule a time for service. Adam and Jason arrived at their scheduled time and explained everything thoroughly. I would highly recommend Adam's water treatment for you filtration needs and will definitely use them if needed in the future.

Wonderful! I would recommend Adam highly! Knowledgeable, efficient and informative! I felt that Adam and Jason (who came out and did the work) did an excellent job. I haven't had service like this ever from any service provider! They even taught me a lot about water softeners and my house! Adam even made an extra trip out on a Saturday to help me out on another problem I was having. Even though it was not his job, he gave me guidance in how to proceed in dealing with a water heater problem I was having. Great people and I really felt secure in the service I was getting. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

After he was finished I felt very comfortable with how to operate the water softener and potential problems to look for in the future. He didn't try to upgrade me to anything new or sell me anything that was unnecessary. He was very professional and thorough. I would definitely have back for service should any problems arise in the future.

Adam arrived when promised and inspected my old water softener that had been bypassed and disconnected since I bought the house in 2006. He eliminated a small leak and put it through a couple cleaning cycles. He then set it up to run automatically and reconfigured the drain lines so that they properly drained into a new slop sink. He was friendly, professional, and straightforward. I will be calling Adam for all my future water softener needs.

I called 1/31 late morning. He was able to fix my leaking water softener that afternoon. He picked up the parts my softener needed and arrived promptly. He was very professional. If I have any other problems with the softener in the future I will certainly call this company to fix it.
