Description of Work: I had been having a/c problems. Jim Holder came out on the same day that I called. The tech replaced a capacitor and a couple other parts. $200 later, a/c was working. Less than a week later, A/c failed again, I called. Of course it was a very hot day, they tired telling me I had to wait til tomorrow before they could come out. I politely tried telling them that I NEEDED someone out today, after placing me on hold, I was informed that someone would be out that day. About an hour later, Jim Holder himself was there. Apparently the capacitor that they had just replaced failed again. Jim put in a 'upgraded' cap and a fuse I think. $260 later, after I asked why I had to buy another one, was told that this one is big, better kinda thing. Jim also informed me that this was the last repair we could make before I had to replace the entire HVAC system. Jim also told me, if this repair didn't fix it, he would apply what I had already spent on the repairs to the new HVAC. I was mildly ok with that, seeing that the $650ish I had spent was a drop in the bucket to a $6500 HVAC system, but appreciated the offer. Happily I can say that the a/c worked the rest of the season and so far, not issues with the heat. IF I do have to call someone, I WILL call Jim Holder again! Thanks Jim and your staff!

Description of Work: I would recommend Jim Holder to anyone. We were in a terrible hot spell last summer and I thought my air conditioner went out. I called them and they responded amazingly fast. When the service man got here he went right out to check the air conditioner. In two minutes he was at my door and told me there was nothing wrong with my unit. + -1 moreWe didn't put a new furnace in. He told us what was wrong and it has been working fine since. He came right out. If we need to replace the furnace this year or next year, we'll probably go with them.
