Excellent. They arrived on time, finished the job in pretty much one day except for clean up and estimate was what we paid - no add ons.

Arrived on time. Completed job in one day. Protected all the lawn and bushes. Full cleanup. Never found anything in the yard afterwards.

It was wonderful. They came out and met with our insurance adjuster as well. They gave us an estimate and even though it was a year later when we ended up roofing the house, they stood by their estimate. The men that actually did the work made sure to protect our landscaping, etc. They made sure that the yard was left the way they found it. Very clean. I would HIGHLY recommend Roofs by Roger

He did a good job. He got the job done quickly than expected. He was punctual.

The work was great. It was in the middle of a heat wave, and the workers had to take a break in the middle of the day, but they were really efficient and very fast. The roof was done very quickly. It apparently takes several days, but they almost got it wrapped up in one day. They did a good and clean job, and I was happy with that. Their price was pretty average. I would recommend them and use them again in the future if necessary.

The job went very well. They came out one morning and were finished by the next afternoon. I guess they did a good job but I can't get up there to look anymore. They did a nice, clean job.

Very professional and impressive estimate. They were prompt, had good looking promotional materials, tons of references. Price was competitive and they had an excellent rating on Angie's List. The men doing the work on the roof were all from another country (no English) so we could not talk to them at all. They completed the main roof in a day and it looked good. Clean-up was very thorough. No damage to shrubs. The problem ... They did not complete the little over hang roof that covers a bay window. No big deal, they came back the next day at dusk. The little roof looked terrible - unsightly gobs of glue, crooked shingles and exposed ugly nail heads. We called to complain and they came back and did little to fix it. Called again the the boss came out - he was defensive and would not readily admit that the little piece of roof looked bad. Finally, in another day he sent another crew out and they fixed it to our general satisfaction. The little roof problem and how they handled it has left a bad feeling in what could have been an excellent experience. After seeing how poorly the little roof looked we are tempted to pay for a home inspector to go up on the big roof and evaluate their work.

Arrived early, tore off roof, cleaned yard, shingles delivered, installed shingles, etc. and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving, before dark, the same day! The neighbors were amazed! This is the second roof we have had installed by this company (rental property), so we were not surprised! We knew how amazing they are!

UPDATE 5/27/2011: Roofs by Rodger made the repairs in mid-May, and so far, they seem to have done a good job. They only took a few days to complete the work, cleaned everything up, didn't damage the landscaping, and everything in the house was dry after the last few heavy rains. I only wish they could have come by a lot earlier. UPDATE 1/13/2011: Not wanting to give a good roofer a bad rap, and given Rodger's message, I wanted to give them a second chance. Rodger contacted me quickly and we will set up a time for the estimate when the weather is better. I'll keep this report updated. ORIGINAL REPORT: After the first call, I waited a few days to hear from them, and finally had to call them back. No one had looked at the roof yet, so they told me their roof inspector would look at it the next day, and would call me to verify the location, etc. Someone did call the next day, saying they were going to inspect it. But they never called back after that, so I don't know if they ever did inspect it, and I never received an estimate. I guess they just weren't interested in my business.

We bought a home for our daughter and her son to rent. It is a home built in the 1950's. The roof has never been replaced, so it was in appalling shape. Because closing was in December, we hoped the roof would hold out until Spring. We selected Roofs by Roger after getting estimates and work-needed details from six companies. Roger personally took our phone call and sent us an estimate in a timely manner (3 of the other 5 companies kept us waiting, holding up the process of selection for 3 weeks!). Our choice was/is Roofs by Roger Inc., determined not only because his price is competitive, but because he includes a detailed "fix" list with the estimate. After closing, we called Roger and he set up an appointment to come to our home so we could make decisions about shingles etc. He is knowledgeable, direct, personable and friendly. When Spring made an appearance we called Roger and he gave us a target date to do the job, with a mention that weather would determine the actual day. One week and one day later, he had a big crew out to work on the small ranch home. It was a beautiful warm day when the crew showed up at 7 a.m., completing the job by 1:00 p.m.! That was on Tuesday and on Friday I spoke with Roger by phone. He came by our home early in the afternoon, presented the detailed invoice and we paid him. He said he appreciated our business and answered specific questions we had about the job saying we should call him if there were any problems, or anything else with which he could help us. We have already recommended him to friends and neighbors and will definitely use him again ourselves.

This company, which I found during an emergency by using Angie's list, was as good as raters on the list had said. Roger, the owner, came quickly, gave a firm estimate, and sent out a crew very quickly once we chose his company. The crew themselves, one of several they have, was very hard working, polite, and did a terrific job at cleaning up the whole property after the work was completed. I would recommend this company and would use them again.

The salesperson was at our house immediately after our phone conversation and was very nice. The work crew arrived on time and were all hard workers. They completed the job in one day (on a 25,000 sq ft house!) and came back the next day to clean up.

The entire process went pretty smoothly. The crew showed up around 8:00 AM and things were under way pretty quickly. We were doing a tear off of the old roof and they had it off and the felt paper down which took them most of the first day. They came back the next day and put the shingles down and were done and off the roof by 3:00 PM. Cleanup was very good with very little, I mean less than a handful of things, we could find and mainly consisted of pieces of clear paper that comes off the back of shingles and a few nails. Everything looks great and now we are just waiting for it to rain :) I would definitely recommend Roofs by Rodger to anyone needed to put a roof on.

They were really good, and very professional. I talked to them about my concerns and than they wrote up the quote. They did not just mail the quote for me, but actually came to deliver it to me. I would recommend them so far.

The job was done in an excellent manner.

All of the workers were courteous and clean. They cleaned up after themselves, and put everything back where they found it!

They arrived as promised, were very professional, did a thorough job in a timely manner and were polite and friendly. From the time they gave me an estimate to the completion of the job they were very conscientious of my time frame and got the job finished. The roof looks great!

I Highly recommend Rodger, Joe and crew. We got three quotes and while Rodger wasn't the cheapest, he was the most knowledgable. We negotiated a bit on price. When Rodger's crew came out, they were very friendly, professional, clean and hard working. They answered all my questions and they wouldn't take payment until I was completely happy.

I thought they did a great job. They were able to come on short notice late in the year, I was real happy with them.

They did a super fast, very clean, quality job. They had the job done in a day start to finish. Great to work with. Very friendly.

Did the entire roof tear-off and replacement on house and garage in one day! Cleaned up. Awesome!

They also did some chimney work and worked on our gutters upon request. That was some extra work that they did for us. Our neighbor living around the corner was getting work done by them and I saw a Roofs by Rodger sign outside. That is how I came to know of them. They had later come to give us an estimate. We had several estimates and liked theirs the most taking into account the cost and the choice of shingles that they had. There were a number of factors that made us choose them. They were right on time and did exactly what we had requested. They quality of their work was good. Our neighbor too had only positive things to say about them. They roofed over where the chimney would have been and did a thorough job. Roger and Rick are the partners, and we worked with Rick. He came out each day to check the progress and quality of the work. He was very involved in overseeing the whole process. The crew was good too. We also have windows on order that they will be installing, but we haven’t done that yet. We’ve been very happy with them so far.

Great experience with estimate, work, clean-up, etc.... They were on-time to start and on-time to finish. Competitive price, and a good warranty. The job was complicated by the fact that we have brick portico walls at the front and back of the house, two chimneys, and some architectural detailing that have contributed to leaking under the previous owner. They tried one method of addressing all. It didn't work. During recent rain, there was some leaking, I called them, and their estimator came out within a day to re-evaluate, discuss alternate method of addressing portico walls, and begin discussing scheduling the work.
