They were expensive, than the other places and hence, choose someone else for the job. I will contact them in the future, too.

About what I expected. I contacted them, they sent out an estimator a week later who left an estimate for the work being done with a handwritten diagram of my property referencing what they recommended doing for various trees on the property. I signed the agreements and mailed them back a few weeks later. They called a few days in advance to let us know they were coming out. I wasn't home when they did the work but, excepting the trees and bushes they worked on, you wouldn't know they were there (a good thing). I have large maples on my property and I think they did a great job thinning out the Norway Maple and getting the trees in general "off" of the house.

They were very responsive to our emergency call. Another company never returned our call. The workers were working overtime and stayed until the tree was completely off the roof. Two limbs rested on the roof; the tip of the main trunk of the tree was tilted on the ground just 5 feet from the house. I noticed that if they removed one limb from the roof, the main trunk could pivot and fall into the house. They realized that also, and proceeded to remove other limbs on the other side so that the main trunk would roll away from the house. They worked quickly and had removed a great amount of the tree within 3 hours. I was disappointed that our lawn was trashed during the removal because they dragged the branches and limbs over the grass. The grass still isn't fully restored. It was, however, evening and they were in a hurry to be done by dark. It's also possible that the falling of the tree did some damage to the lawn. Their main concern was to get the tree off the house, and they did a great job. The other disappointment was that after the initial removal, they left a lot of debris in front of our main entrance and garage. We waited 10 days for them to return to complete the job and remove the debris so that we could park in the garage and use our front door. The scheduler said that because we were an emergency call, they came quickly and couldn't get back to complete the job right away because they had other previously scheduled jobs. That was understandable, though an inconvenience for us. A third concern involved the billing. I was initially billed for more hours than they performed. I called the manager and he changed the time so that it was more acceptable. I don't know if I was billed more because it was an emergency call and the workers were working overtime. That could explain the difference.

The estimator Andrew was friendly, punctual, and communicated well. THe price was fair and the crew worked very hard. The crew missed a few litle things and Andrew and the crew came back and fixed everything to perfection. We are so Happy that we chose McGinty that we are considering them for our lawn fertilization care.

Company rep shows up on indicated day and sprays trees. Friendly guy.
