I called a large well known company and they wanted to come out and have any initial spray and then 9 additional sprays. I though that was a little overboard and expensive. I called Thomas Pest Control and was told I could fix the problem myself for free! I was asked if I had an attached garage. I said yes. I was asked if my garbage cans were on the inner wall of the garage. I said yes. I was told the fly larva was getting out of my garbage and into my walls. I was told to clean the garbage cans and garage and to spray the wall area. So much simpler! So helpful and honest! Thank you!

They were personable. Their price was fair. They were courteous and kind. The quality of their work was good. They were very responsive. They were on time to do the job.

I have used this company for years to control spiders and insects inside and outside the house. He is very thorough (he's an entomologist so he knows his stuff) and isn't going to pressure you to sign a long-term contract like the "big guys" do. I learned of this company many years ago when I was living in a condo and the management company highly recommended them to take care of our buildings.

Left voicemail for Thomas Pest Specialists. Received voicemail in return later that day. Caller noted that he would be unable to perform services located above first story of home. However, in his voicemail he did note that nest is likely to be nest from prior year and wasps, in general, do not return to prior year's nest. He suggested that I could save money if I could remove nest on my own.

They were right on time and very polite and professional. Paul explained the entire process and then took care of the wasps. He guaranteed a return trip at no charge if they came back. The wasps never did come back. I would definitely call them again!

No problem. He came within a day or two. I had a obtained list of recommended pesticides for this bug from the agricultural extension service. He was interested to see what they recommended. I think that is a sign of a professional.

I contacted the company and explained my problem. The company owner was extremely helpful and offered alternative suggestions to treat my problem and this saved my a significant amount of money. I would absolutely utilize this company for my pest control needs.

This service was terrific, very professional and personable. He explained that what we saw was actually dirt (not sawdust) and was caused by small ants that were not harmful to wood or structures. He arrived within the 2-hour window that he promised. In fact he called to let me know that he was running a little late and would be arriving close to the end of the 2-hour window. I would definitely recommend this company.

This is a small family business and both husband and wife were very friendly and professional. When I first called, I thought I had termites. He explained that was unlikely because the termites here are subterranian and are extremely unlikely to get in my home. He asked me to describe the bugs I'd seen and assured me they weren't termites. They arrived 2 days later and sprayed, finishing in about an hour. He did mention he was located in Lombard and did most of his work in that area, but would take work further away if he could fit it into his schedule (which is what he did for me). I would highly recommend them to anyone.

After fighting a losing battle with the ants for 2 months, I tossed in the proverbial towel and looked for a professional. I chose Mr. Thomas because he was very informative and very thorough with his chemical treatment. The cost seemed comparable to others on Angie's List, especially as he didn't recommend contractual work. There have been no ants in my kitchen since he sprayed my baseboards and foundation. The pesticide did not adversely affect my human or feline family members, either.

Mr Thomas and his wife were both very nice. Mr Thomas was especially knowledgeable about his field as he has a degree in entomology and has been a pest control specialist for many years. He said a major advantage to utilizing his services over one of the big companies like Terminix or Orkin, was that he didn't require customers to sign any type of contract, that his one-time services should address the situation and to call him if there were any further problems.

HE CAME RIGHT AWAY AND IN FACT, IF HE HAD NOT COME WHEN HE DID, THE BEES LITERALLY WOULD HAVE BROKEN THROUGH OUR CEILING AND SWARMED OUR LIVING ROOM WITHIN HOURS! HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, FRIENDLY AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM.

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND RESPECTFUL AND WERE WILLING TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THAT WE HAD. THEY ALSO GAVE US A PRICE BREAK ON AN AUTUMN FOLLOW UP APPLICATION FOR LADY BUGS.

WE WERE SO PLEASED WITH THEIR HELPFULNESS AND RESPONSIVENESS, THEY EVEN CAME BACK TWO DAYS LATTER FOR A SECOND APPLICATION, JUST FOR MY PIECE OF MIND. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO NEIGHBORS.
