Did most of what arborist contracted for and after walk through finished the work. It is hard to do work off a written liist, but they were happy to use my explanation. I use them as much to mulch the stuff cut as just doing the cutting they leave with the yard and landscaping looking good.

The Care of Trees sent an arborist to look at my trees. I was impressed with the arborist's knowledge and suggestions. The arborist provided a printout of the work to be done, which I could accept or not. I decided to go forward with this proposal. When the crew came, they had the printout of the order and discussed it with me. Upon finishing, the crew asked me to look at the trees and bush to ensure that they were done to my satisfaction. The two-man crew were prompt and cleaned up the site upon completion. The entire experience was more than satisfactory. The cost was in the mid-range of two other quotes I had obtained. The lowest estimator did not provide an arborist.

Overall pretty good. Could of done a better job cleaning up. Expensive but didn't shop around as much

The tree was close to the driveway and we had to proceed with caution when the driveway was being re-done so that the roots weren't dug up. We spent about $250. The guys were very knowledgeable and arbourers came out so not just some ordinary guys.

They were really good. They're very efficient and thorough. I felt very comfortable they were doing the right stuff. The price was a little expensive but I actually was willing to pay a little bit more.

They were very professional, they do an excellent job. They come when they say they are coming, and they do a wonderful job. I was worried a few years ago because one of the oaks is right over the house, and they cabled the branches together, and this time round when they came out, I was worried about it, and they said that it was still holding, and that is why I like them. They are very professional, very nice, and if you have questions, the arborist will come out without any charge and take a look at whatever problems you have. Then you sign a form, and they will come right out and take care of it for you.

The Care of Trees workers removed the tree in an organized and safe manner, cleaning up the refuse afterward. The charge was reasonable.

It went well. The arborist came out to consult on a storm-damaged tree, offering estimates for both saving it and for removing it. He also pointed out a few diseased smaller trees in the yard. Since we had been thinking about removing the trees anyway, we decided to get them all removed. It took a few weeks to work our way up the schedule, but we were happy with the communication. Because of weather the work was split over two days. The crew was professional and courteous.

They performed the job quickly, removing all debris, and cleaning the area covered by the tree.

The job went very well. They came out in September, after an approximate 4 week wait (which was not a problem for us). They completed the job as quoted in approximately 5 hours, cleaned everything up, and left. No complaints.

Came on time did the work contracted and sent an invoice for the amount quoted. Very nice, friendly, knowledgeable arborist costs were inline with other quotes. Will definitely continue to use this company. 6/4/2014 This is an update to our previous review. They came out and without our permission or knowledge retreated our tree 6 months later. They did not make us aware they were there before treating the tree and then sent an email invoice asking for payment. We felt the cost was high with the first treatment in the fall and had no plans to use them again. We are very concerned they applied toxic pesticide chemicals to our property and never let us know they were going to do it prior or when they came out to do it. When I received the email invoice I contacted them and explained we did not authorize them to do any additional work at our home nor were we aware they had been there. Upon inspection of the tree we did find holes that indicted something was done. The lady on the phone tried to say the estimate my husband signed recommending ongoing treatments was a contract to hire them perpetually. No where does it state it is a contract or that we were signing up for any future work. Further when I expressed my concern about the professionalism and potential health risks to pets and people of applying chemicals to my yard she said I was insulting her son. OK and that has any merit on what happened. But, I felt an honest mistake was made and let it go at that. No one was hurt pets or children. After several emails and calls back and forth she finally agreed that we were not responsible for the charge of $135 and I thought we were done. I am still getting email invoices.

unfortunately our beloved Maple tree will eventually have to be removed due to a disease that is causing it to choke it own roots and block the intake of nutrition..The other tree we have issues with has some dead limbs that need to be removed and also needs to be trimmed away from the house.After explaining the process that will take place for the trimming we were given an estim

Bill came out and gave an estimate. The work was scheduled. The workers showed up and cut down the trees. They came back a few days later after JULIE marked the utilities and ground the stumps. They cleaned up very nicely after they finished. All of the staff were polite, accommodating and professional.

Went very well. Had all the proper equipment . Was removed and taken away in a good morning's work. Had a very professional goup of guys. I would gladly use them again but don't ever want another storm like we had last summer.

After reading reviews I went with The Care of Trees, inc. They came out and explained the trees we had were Siberian Elms and what they are prone to. This was funny cause the other tree companys told me they were Dutch Elms and were diseased... They gave me a quote and I thought about it for a day then called them to schedule and appointment and downpayment. They came out next day picked up the downpayment and said they would be out next day. They had a crew, fast, nice. Other companys said they could only cut 3/4 way up the trees but this company could trim all the way to the top. They were cheaper than other companies and cleaned up after themselves. I would totally recommend them to anyone needed quality, affordable tree service.

The Care of Trees knew exactly what to do and they recommended the same chemical treatments as the other companies. They were also quite courteous. The problem is that THEY GOT SO OVERBOOKED THAT THEY MISSED THE TIME WINDOW FOR OPTIMAL TREATMENT. As a result, both of my trees were badly diseased that summer because they didn't spray in time. The next year I switched to Graf Tree Care in St. Charles for the next two years. Graf Tree Care was excellent. They sprayed my trees exactly at the right time and there was absolutely no sign of disease when THEY took care of the trees.

Great. The arborist, Bill Mareno came out to assess the situation and his crew came out within two weeks and did a great job on the pruning three trees and cabling our Silver Maple to keep it from losing its major upright trunks. They checked with me to confirm the pruning to be done and finished in less than a day. Then about two weeks later a different crew sprayed our Alberta Spruce for the insects that were turning the ends brown. They left a card in the mail box informing me that it had been sprayed.

Consultation appointment was easy to scheduled. Dan was on time and informative. I just purchased this home and had lots of questions about random trees in the yard. He advised me on all my questions and was able to work with me when I said I had a certain amount of money I wanted to spend at this time knowing I had a lot of tress that needed to come down. We did estimates via e-mail and Dan continued to answer any questions I had. Once the deal was made service was provided within a couple weeks, which worked out well for my schedule.

The crew arrived on time and worked quickly to complete the scheduled services. All debris was cleared from property and the yard was left looking as though they hadn't been there.

They did a good job and removed all of the debris.

The quote was fine but it’s just that I was more familiar with the Care of Trees. I think actually they were more reasonable. I think we have used them in the past or got quotes from them and I have no problem with them. They came out and quoted right away.

I noticed a large limb hanging precariously over my roof. I e-mailed Matt at Care of Trees who has done previous tree work at my house. Within an hour even though it was a Sunday Matt had reviewed the pictures I had sent and determined given the current and future weather conditions it was still stable. He promised to be out the next day. As promised the limb was removed promptly and a preventive wound application applied to the remaining tree stub. I continued to be impreesed with there service, compentetcy and affordability. They truly care about trees and there clients.

They had an arborist come out to do an inspection and make recommendations. A week later the crew came out, trimmed the trees, and cleaned everything up. It was an overall good experience. Their price was competitive. The quality of work was good.

They were prompt with their quote and service.
